Michael Noire God Emperor Akhenaton Michael Noire if there is no afterlife then the importance of God depends on whether or not they interact with us in a way that we can also interact and subsequently change our lives if there is an afterlife, then the existence of God is secondary in importance and dependent on the rules governing existence itself. Why would an afterlife be more important than God? If anything, the afterlife is something people don't want. you must know some very unusual people. More than 5 billion people want an afterlife, if not for themselves, for someone else to receive Justice either as reward or punishment. Yeah, but there is a point where you have to understand what an afterlife means in reality. To have an afterlife implies eternity. And let's be honest. Even in eternal paradise, you cannot keep yourself happy for all eternity. My great grandmother is a good example. Before she died at the age of 91, she spent the last 10 years of her life, staring at her living room to pass the day by. So tell me. If a human being can only keep themselves entertained for 80 years, then what makes you think they will be happy for all eternity? Atheist don't believe in an afterlife because they are realists or cynics. They just realized that they don't want to live forever. In places where life is miserable and people die young, they don't want to imagine that this life is it.

That you won't end up staring at your living room wall, in a state of depression? It's called eternal paradise dear, not eternal more of the same old thing. Hypothetically speaking, if god can't even cure boredom, he's a pretty impotent god. : P Please don't speak for all atheists. Because I'm sure many think that living forever would be damn nice. And if you'd stop to think about it, you'd realize that you're insulting all atheists by citing "not wanting to live forever", as the reason for atheism itself. That's saying that atheists merely choose to believe what they feel most comfortable with, which is the exact problem that many atheists have with religion.

Thankfully Darwin's discovery of evolution completely rules out the possibility that man came from some dirt that a god used to make an image of himself out of, and that woman came from a rib of this dirt-man.
Compare the amount of interlocking data from every applicable scientific field including geology, physics, and even molecular biology, all having observational experiments done, that test and prove the hypotheses of evolution occurring (elevating it to a FACT and a THEORY), with the DISCREDITED FAIRY TALE - a big invisible monster that nobody has ever seen or heard did it.
It is frightening that mass delusions of supernatural beings still exist today. It is the same thing as saying that my invisible fire breathing dragon is more powerful than your multi-headed fire spewing sea monster.
Everything from the murderous blood stained Sky Daddy who drowned virtually all humanity and other life, sentenced everyone to leave Utopia after Eve (persuaded by a talking snake) ate a magical apple, had Jonah take a ride in the belly of a whale, ruined the life of Job, told Abraham to murder his own kid, killed all the first born of Egypt, had his chosen people commit genocide on the original inhabitants of Palestine, to letting his own son be nailed to some wood so mankind could party with a ghost - is a FAIRY TALE that humanity needs to reject if we are to see many more generations.
By the way if you are dumb enough to believe that this fable is real; in the Bible, the murder count is God/millions - Devil/zero. Whom would you rather spend time with, a vengeful monster or a fallen angel who thought he had a better way? I am NOT promoting the Devil, just illustrating the craziness in this stupidity.
1 Corinthians 1:18 "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." And you have to understand this, should a judge not sentence a murderer to prison? Should they not give them the death penalty? God didn't sentence Adam and Eve away, they hid themselves from him, if he truly is God, he already knew what they did, but they ran. So God let them go off on their own, and live out the life they wanted away from him, away from the fellowship they had with him inside the Garden. If you created everything, and you were perfect, would you just let evil slide? Or a better comparison would be if you were a parent and you saw your child misbehaving, would you punish them in some fashion? Or just allow them to roam around causing all sorts of mischief. God loves all of us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, the bible says that all have sinned through Adam's sin, so we all are bad. The standard for holiness is perfection in God's sight, however, we can't earn forgiveness either. So the bible says that Jesus came here born of a virgin to die for us that we could be saved, not by our goodness, but by Jesus's goodness. And you might say that you've never murdered somebody, but the bible says that if you've broken one commandment, that you have violated them all and need a savior. This includes me, I don't think that I'm any better than you are. What made you so hard to this? I'm not judging you or anything, but why do you feel the need to call others stupid for believing in God? I want a respectful conversation, not a fight. And on a more related note, there is quite a bit of evidence to disprove Darwin and this site shows some of those views, read a bit farther down and it goes as far as to quote some of these 'experts'. http://www.overcomeproblems.com/believe_in_evolution.htm

You can't manipulate things to make it valid.....

You can't manipulate things to make it valid..... Your point? Darwinism can be , and often is used the same way. No literally, Evolution is exactly like that, because it can't be proven, the links aren't complete, and I doubt that they ever will be. But my main point is, you can't fully prove evolution, just like you can't fully prove Religion, one or the other is right, and one day, it could come back to bite people. Sure if there isn't God, guess what? There would be no problem with murder, killing, stealing, raping others, and so fourth, people don't want to be accountable. Which is why they try to imagine some other reason to our existence than God, there is a law, because of that law, people don't always murder, do away with that, and a lot of people would gladly kill one another. :/ If there is no God, drinking, and doing all of these things like there is no tomorrow has no consequence, one way, or another, we are all going to end up in the ground; that is the basis for this mindset. However if there is a God, he knows our mind, our thoughts, what we do in the dark where only you are there, and people as a whole don't like their darkness being exposed, so we stay away from the concept of Hell. Now many people say that a loving God wouldn't send people to Hell, but he is also Holy, and a righteous judge. Should God not punish the murderer, or the rapist? Should he set them free to continue their ways? Now think about all of us now, we are all guilty, through Adam's sin, we have all sinned, none of us can complete the Ten Commandments, none of us are good enough. Since God is holy, he had to go out with what he said he would do, we had to have suffer for him to tell the truth, he would cease to be God. But God sent his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus died, so we could all go to Heaven if we trust in him alone. In reality whether we all believe it or not, there is a another life someday, if you don't believe it, what if you're wrong though? (Not you as in you individually, but people in general.) What if there is another life? Then you've spent it all drinking, or doing something else that is wrong, other than putting trust in the God who sent his very own son so you could be with him, and then those people are going to be in Hell, and be in surprise because there will be no escaping it. If I'm right, then because of somebody trusting in God for salvation, they spend eternity with him instead of apart from him in Hell. If I'm wrong, what do I have to lose? Nothing, I'd just cease to work like a computer, the tv turns off, then I become not important anymore.

Sorry for wasting your time...Actually, I'm not. It's your fault for digressing. emotion_awesome ) Heh, if you read my whole point, you would see what I was saying, and if you won't read it then meh. Of course Atheism sounds more sensible than Religion, if you want to run away. That is because you can see it with your own two eyes. and No, truthfully Atheism is the most violent religion. For example: Many wars have been caused by it. The Romans got rid of their morals, then the Roman Empire fell, Communism was an attempt to take God out of society, look at the destruction it caused, Hitler couldn't have believed in God truly, he was a mass murderer. There have been crusades by "Christians" But I wouldn't call the Christians. They claimed to serve God, they didn't though. You actually didn't read what I was saying, then again, most of what you said went off topic. The point of this thread is the claim of whether God exists or not right? How is it going off topic to go to the heart of the matter? Here is a too long; didn't read of what I said: Athiests/most scientists don't believe in God, they don't believe in an afterlife, most people use this as a means to escape justice, and accountability. Those who believe in God, or afterlife believe in some kind of judgement, and Paradise. There are many things that show God in our lives. Atheists, and Darwinists claim that their claims are right despite not seeing it first hand, you could say the same about some Christians. One of these have to be wrong, and neither can be proven until death. You won't be forced to agree with me, many of these things can be registered as fact, you still won't believe it if you choose to hold to your values. You sort of contradicted yourself by the way when you said that you can't take writings essays, etc and can't manipulate things to make it valid. Evolution isn't fully proven, I'm not saying that nothing changes over time, such as different types of fur, and colors. I believe in Micro Evolution, but not 360 change over millions of years. And another thing, lets see here, you say that you can fully prove another animal eventually evolved into you and me based on a series of random events over millions of years that you have never witnessed yourself, turned them into a record and claimed that they have to be related, and state that as fact. Versus, a creator that with complete love created us and gave us relevance, which one is harder to believe? I think Atheism, you got to believe a lot more, just to deny that God exists, you got to search any random direction to find any kind of so-called "Evidence." You could say that religion formed when some random guy looked up at a star and claimed they saw some rainbow monkey clown, but then why would that even start huh? There had to be something to make people believe in a higher power, and there is just no way that nothing can create anything.

If I'm right, then because of somebody trusting in God for salvation, they spend eternity with him instead of apart from him in Hell. If I'm wrong, what do I have to lose? Nothing, I'd just cease to work like a computer, the tv turns off, then I become not important anymore. 1. What sounds more sensible Darwin's theory of evolution or religion that sounds much like mythology? 2. Christianity's hands have been tainted with blood before. It's definitely the most violent religion the world has seen. I've posted up previous things that pertain to your post and I don't feel like typing it up again...so (Honestly, I read like the first couple of sentences and then you went to a whole other topic and I stopped reading. Again, I only read a couple of sentences, and I can already write a 20 pages essay over the crap you just said, however, I have other priorities. The only thing I want to say right now is that atheism is not a religion. I maybe get back to you. Maybe. Well then explain yourself then. And no, Athiesm is so a religion, a religion of believing in yourself rather than God, I see nothing backing any of the crap you've spewed. :3 Christianity isn't a religion either, it's a relationship, if you're thinking of Christianity as some kind of long mass, that isn't what it's even about. You can't disprove my point. I simply said if I'm wrong, we both cease to exist, but if I'm right, then those who don't believe are in trouble if they don't change. What is so hard to agree about that? Also, please don't assume that I'm trying to be rude or anything, I'm not. :/ I'm trying to be civil here.

Silent Harry Mason KingLeonidas57 Silent Harry Mason KingLeonidas57 Silent Harry Mason Your point? Dude, I can't tell if you're posing as a Christian or really that ignorant. But this made my day....ahh rofl ....i really need to stop procrastinating... No, I am a Christian, and it's funny. Ya know, if you want to play the ignorant game, why not explain yourself. BD It's really funny to see people who claim others are ignorant when they bring the cards to the table. How am I uneducated, or not knowing about things? I bet all your life, you've seen religion from a secular view point, but not everyone is about rules, religion is about rules and laws. The thing is, Christianity true biblical Christianity is about the relationship between God and man being restored by God's ability, not by the ability of mankind. This contradicts it being a religion, hence why I said that. If you think you know everything, bring some cards to the table, you can claim evolution, and how the world started, and all of that, I won't disagree with 100% of it, but when it comes to the Missing Link, you are left wanting. None of these scientists, nor you have seen how the world has started, or when exactly Dinosaurs, and other prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, you can have guesses, but do you know with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that everything happened the way scientists wrote that it did? You have your guesses, and your bones, I have several things myself though, The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Ark ruins, the fact that many biblical predictions are coming true, and no, they are not simple. stare You can give me the man can't predict something from the past bologna, but I'm not talking from a worldly perspective, obviously no man can truly do that without some sort of spiritual help of some sort, God has explained what the last days would be like in his word, Wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences in strange places, false prophets, the rate of the gospel being preached would increase, Israel becoming a nation again is the biggest sign. Look into the history of how Israel was reborn, the chances were truly against them, but they stayed together as a nation after they founded in 1948. Since then, what the bible says has been coming true, wars have increased, natural disasters have increased, famines have grown worse, pestilences are becoming stronger, many people have claimed to be Jesus, look it up if you want to, they've caused tons of trouble, and then we have gospel stations like TBN, you can't deny all of those things together, the bible isn't saying the obvious that we will have wars, and all of those other signs, it says they will increase until Jesus will come back. That is basically one of the only things that hasn't happened yet. That and Israel being attacked, you can see that there are countries that wish to do so, and soon.

A religion is a system of beliefs and practices that attempts to order life in terms of culturally perceived ultimate priorities. Is the Bible not a book of orders and laws? Is mass, confession, or baptism not a Christian practice? Hmmmm...Kinda sounds like a religion. Atheism does not have a system of beliefs or practices, therefore not a religion. In Christianity, if you were not to follow the Bible, would you still be able to go to your heaven? Well, according to you, yes, because if just talked to God alot, then you'll get in for sure! It's all about having a good relationship. Yeah, I was a Christian, but looking into it, it sounded like mythology. Pure fiction. Evolution sounds more logical than a big man in the sky creating the universe...Again, sounds like mythology to me. Speciation can happen suddenly. It don't have to go gradually. And talking about the ark. How the crap can the world be flooded? Where did all the water come from? Where did it go? How come there is organisms in different stratas instead of one gigantic strata? It doesn't add up. I see no credibility in the Bible. Again, I didn't want to sort through your throw up, so the rest I didn't read (Probably some useless junk that doesn't pertain to the discussion). You should condense that crap.

What does this crap have to do with the Illuminati? It's religious debate, and religious debates are worthless pieces of s**t because nobody ever listens to anyone else. When people talk about religion, do you know what comes out of it? Insults! Insults! Though, I will give you a s**ty website that says debate is stupid! See why HERE. Nobody gives a damn about unicorns' existence or fairies, but people apparently have a problem with God's existence, whether he exists or not. So sit down, shut up, and listen. Besides, people are already getting into condescending dialogue, so the whole thing is ruined and not worth it anymore. Who ******* cares what people believe. I certainly don't care if I'm friends with a Muslim. If they're Muslim, then so be it! Big Daddy?
