Violet woke up almost as quickly as she fell asleep. She lifted her book off of her stomach and closed it. I better get home soon. After she gained her senses, she rose from her spot on the ground and walked toward Lake Hylia.

Machiko took a shortcut into town, so she walked through a small forest area. Geez... Why won't people just give me a break? While walking through the trees, she had a slight feeling that someone was following her, but ignored it and kept on walking.

Sora left Lake Hylia through the shadows and entered the forest. He ran into a girl. "Hello." Was all he said as he held out his hand to the stranger.

Violet was busy staring off into space as she walked home. She suddenly bumped into something, dropping her book. She looked in front of her to see a man. "Oh, hello." She blinked twice, then shook the man's hand. "Sorry about that. I tend to not pay attention when I'm walking." She laughed as she reached down for her book.

Sora looked at her and looked behind her. "Follow me and hurry." He said as he took her hand and ran from the spirits following them. He could destroy them but it would be much easier to just let them dissolve in the daylight. They passed tree after tree and ran through path after path until they finally reached the field. Sora jumped behind the girl and pulled his sword prepared to fight the creatures.

Violet looked startled as the boy took her out of the area and into Hyrule feild. "What's wrong?" She asked. She tightly held her book against her with her free hand as they ran through the trees. As they were running, she turned around and noticed what was following them. "What's going on?!" As they stopped, Violet turned as the man jumped behind her with the sword. She held her book tighter as she looked left and right in fear.

Machiko looked into the trees and jumped into them. She decieded to do a little disappearing act. As she saw Sora and Violet, she knew they were in trouble. She looked behind them, seeing spirits heading their way. So that's what was following me... She took out her bow and a light arrow, and when they started running, she followed after. It was a good thing she stocked up on light arrows. Following afterthe spirits, Machiko aimed one of the arrows at one of he spirits, and at the right time, she shot it and destroyed it. She quickly aimed her second arrow at the other spirit. It turned around, and once it saw Machiko, she shot the arrow an destroyed it. "Whew... Are you guys ok?" she asked as she mounted her bow on her back.

Sora walked up to Machiko. "Thanks. You have light arrows... any relation to the sage of light? I'm Sora. I'm the sage of shadows. You need to be more careful around that shady guy. He's not exactly human, more a phantom. Created by Ganondorf to simulate the legendary hero. I'm here to find out if either of you are sages. I need to gather the rest. Me and the sage of the forest are searching." He said as he sheathed his sword and absorbed the shadow spirits' power.

Violet clenched her book and looked toward the ground. "Well, I'm not a sage," she laughed, then looked back up, "But why are you looking for sages?" She then asked him.

"Well, no problem." Machiko said. "I'll tell you, I am a sage, even though sometimes I wish I weren't. Since I'm the desendant of the light sage, everyone's been trying to capture me, including that phantom person..." Machiko stopped for a moment. "I'll help you search for the other three sages."

Daniel walked into the clearing, "Don't you think that is a little presumptuous. I don't believe the ceremony has ever been completed for you, even if you are the daughter of a sage."
"I am sorry I was late in helping you deal with the phantoms, but seeing Machiko deal with them so effortlessly leaves no doubt that she is meant to be a sage. And I feel the power in you too Violet, you are indeed meant to be a sage."

Violet was looking down at the ground, almost in a daze until she snapped back into reality at Daniel's statement. "I am?!" She asked, as appealing curiousity built up.
