Champagne nodded excitedly, suddenly feeling silly for using her nose. "Like so!" Wagging her tail, the vixen continued to roll her ball, using a paw this time. When she got right in front of Tenma, though, that wagging tail sent up a cloud of snow at him! Turning to the male, Champagne grinned, flipped around behind her little ball, and crouched on her front paws, ready for him to get her back and hoping he was comfortable enough around her to do so.
((ugh, sorry for the writers block! XP))

Tenma backed up, shaking his head in shock. He stared at her, snow dripping from his head. He didn't move, almost seemed to be giving her a look that told her she shouldn't have done that. However, seconds before Champagne would have been upset he leapt over her, landing behind her and kicking up snow, laughing lightly. Quickly, he buried himself under the snow, appearing at her side and poking his head out, throwing snow onto her back before peeling away.
He turned his head and stopped only to look at her. Covered in snow, she herself almost looked like a snow fox! He laughed lightly, smiling pleasantly at the vixen. "I seem to have finally built myself a snow fox."

"Eeek!" She shrieked, giggling as the artsy-pelted male retaliated. At his 'snow fox' comment, though, she sat and straightened herself up, sitting still as if she were a snowfox until she burst out laughing. It wasn't a giggling laugh, like she normally did, but a straight-from-the-heart joyous laugh that turned her cheeks pink.
"A very pretty one, if I may say so myself!" Still laughing, Champagne leapt out from under the snow piled on her fur and pounced on Tenma, sending both foxes rolling through the white powdery fluff.

Tenma rolled to the ground, laughing at the vixen and rolling on-top of her, shoving snow in her face, his tail wagging. "Compliments for yourself? How unlady like." He shoved more snow in her face, carefully not to hurt her at all costs, and leapt off of her, landing perfectly. He turned to smile at the vixen, suddenly growing calm and sitting on his haunches.
"But you are very pretty, so that compliment is not a lie." He mused honestly, not the kind to flatter others. Quickly, he tossed another snowball at her, leaping away. What was this vixen doing to him? Making him laugh, making him grin like...like Yavie! Champagne was doing something to the male, but what?

The vixen scrambled to her paws in a sitting position, spitting out snow and letting her tongue hang out just in time to get smacked in the face with a snowball, which sent her right back to her, well, back! She still heard Tenma's voice, though, and the way it changed tone when he called her pretty. While her face was already red from the cold and laughing, it turned warmer in her cheeks so she knew she was blushing. My goodness, this male made her blush a lot!
Butterflies in her stomach, she sat back up wiping the snow out of her face in a silly manner. "Why, thank you, but I'm still going to get you for that!" With a happy squeal she started chasing him, rolling her own snowball as she did and sending it flying at her friend. This was the most fun she had had in a long time!

Tenma dodged, leaping after Champagne and landing behind her, chucking more snow back at her. He grinned at the vixen, suddenly slipping up and rubbing his body against hers, more bold at this point. Hey, she started it, well, she wanted him more open! He rolled under her, pressing snow against her belly before rolling away, smiling at the pretty vixen.
"Champagne, would you like to find something to eat with me?" He questioned, cocking his head to the side. "Perhaps?"

Champagne was laughing up until Tenma rubbed against her, turning it into a shy giggle and then a big squeal as icy cold snow was suddenly pressed up against her belly, making the vixen leap straight up into the air. When she landed, she scrambled backwards and up on her haunches, pawing at her belly until it was snow-free.
Still sitting back, with her paws wrapped around her middle and her cheeks bright as berries, she looked up at the male, who seemed to keep changing on her. She liked it, though, the way he was changing. It made her feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Breathing hard from her belly-snow encounter, but still smiling, she answered him. "Yeah~" She giggled. "Sounds good!"

Tenma nodded to the vixen, padding ahead, entering the forest without pausing. He knew she could keep up, she had so far. His eyes dulled, body moving ahead without his mind thinking of it. His mind tugged at his conscience, attempting to rip itself free and wander off without though. He had done this time and time again. However, he jerked himself free from this emptiness and turned to look at Champagne. Good, she was still there, he hadn't wandered off.
He could feel it coming, the moment where he would lose all thoughts and just wander away aimlessly, until he came back to. It was like sleepwalking, but he was fully awake and aware he was moving, however, unable to realize he was moving to nowhere, and unable to remember the reason why he was moving.

Champagne blinked worriedly as she stuck close to Tenma. His body acted fine, but his eyes... Something was going on in that complex mind of his, she could see it.
The vixen was just about to say something when she heard a rustle in the forest growth. A quick light brush of her paw on Tenma's tail signaled she wanted to get this one. Crouching down, Champagne skittered a few steps lightly, waited... like a cat she wiggled her butt right before she pounced. It was a silly habit, and she had no idea where she picked it up, but it seemed to be a good luck thing because she never missed when she did it. Sure enough, the tri-colored female came trotting back to her companion with a rabbit dangling in her jaws.

Tenma smiled at Champagne lightly, his tail flicking. The back of his mind felt like fluttering, he could see darkness clouding around his eyes. He distracted himself by admiring Champagne's catch, turning his head to eye a rabbit that ran across the terrain. He split into a run, dashing after the rabbit and scooping it up. It let out a screech, and he ended it's life quickly, flipping it over. Coming from a family of runners and both his fathers being energetic it was not shocking how quick he was.
He padded over to Champagne, dumping the rabbit on the ground and smirking at her. "Seems we both got lucky."

The vixen beamed at Tenma, impressed at his speed and swiftness. "Nah, we just have skills!~" Giggling, she nudged her rabbit. "I'm a light eater, so this one will do me. What about you?" It was a silly question, she knew. In her travels she learned just how big a male's appetite was. Most females had appetite's too, which explained why her mother used to worry about Champagne's eating habits and thin frame.
"If you'd like, I can go scout out a place for us to eat and rest?" The last thing she wanted to do was stray from Tenma's side, but she didn't want to make him feel crowded and she knew they needed a place to hunker down. The snow and wind were picking up as well. She would just have to keep a very close watch on her friend.

He nodded at her. He could hold out for a bit. He didn't know until later, but he rather not think about that. He flicked his tail, eyeing her. He did not trust himself. He would wander soon, he was sure of it. How did he get this? His fathers weren't like him. They didn't just vanish into thought. He moved beside her, grabbing his rabbit.
"Lets find a spot together." Truly, if she left him now he doubted she'd see his face ever again. He didn't want to disappear into thought, it just..happened. He smiled at her, padding ahead.

"O-ok!" Champagne scooped up her rabbit and scrambled after him. Every move he made was starting to make her nervous. Why? She didn't fear him, oh no! She actually really trusted him, even cared about him, so why on earth was she so nervous? Why did that change in his eyes bug her so deeply?
"Tenma...?" She squeezed up beside him, mumbling around the prey. "Are you ok? Is something the matter?"

He looked at her, shaking his head. "Of course I am okay." He said before directing the vixen to the field ahead. The field was empty and barren, a good place to eat. He settled onto the ground, tilting his head at her. "Why? Perhaps something is wrong with you, you've been quiet for some time." He smiled at the vixen, tail wagging slightly. She had been quiet for awhile, and he was curious as to why.

"I... I'm just worried about you, is all... You seem like something is troubling you..." Settling down next to Tenma, she tried to casually wrap her tail around his but ended up blushing from her intimate move. "There isn't a thing wrong with me, I promise~" The vixen felt comforted with her tail twined around his, and she smiled up at the male. "Are you sure just one rabbit is good?" She really didn't want him to go off alone to hunt more, but she really didn't want him to starve.
