Cyrilla was sitting in the back of the train, quietly watching what all was going on. She had been pretty excited about going on the trip, but at the same time she was a little nervous, never having been on a train before. The telltale signs of her nerves showed through as she toyed with the gold chains that hung around her neck, and the slight twitch that caused her head fins to flutter every so often.

The young dracolich took note of what seemed to be a really random assortment of people on the train, and her attention was drawn as Kasumi called attention to herself. A game? That could be fun. Something to pass the time at least.

When the forms reached her she picked up the pen and looked around, scribbling a couple of things down.

Cyrilla's List
THE LIST
I spy with my little eye... something that is...

  • Striped
  • Green - ... me!
  • Lovesick
  • Energetic - Kasumi
  • Shiny - Skull boy's eye sockets.
  • Festive
  • Squishy - the seats?
  • Pathetic!

It'd taken her a few minutes to decide that the boy who was sitting next to her had particularly shiny eyes. It had been a fight between those and her own jewelry. The deciding factor had been that she'd already put herself on there for green. It'd be like using herself twice, and that just did not seem quite right. She tapped the pen along the paper a few times, looking around and not really being able to place anything else.

Oh well. Not a big deal, it was just a game after all. Sticking the paper to her side, she switched from messing with her chains to twirling the pen between her fingers, glancing over at her 'companion'. His eyes really were pretty shiny. She finally decided to speak up, instead of just staring.

"Hi." she offered, a bit awkwardly to the very blue seat inhabitant.

It wasn't that Kasumi's game was all that challenging or intriguing, West just found stalling on things that he was expected to complete nearly impossible to bear. Better to get this list filled in as soon as possible, leaving him plenty of time to find reasons to punch several someones in their babymaker equivalents. Or maybe he didn't need reasons. He shrugged, squinting at the space to the right of 'striped' as he pursed his lips, scratching out the rug with enough force to rip the paper before adding my boxers under the rip instead.

He eventually felt expectant eyes boring into the vicinity of his shoulder and clawed out of his focused distraction long enough to narrow his own eyes at the demon seated next to him. His rage might have been slightly diminished by the train, but West was still a very angry young man. "What?" he monotoned, not waiting for a response before another few sentences spilled out of his mouth. "Hey, d'you knowhat's squishy 'round 'ere?" he continued, jabbing his pen at the piece of paper. "Issit you? Tha'would really speed things sup." He smiled somewhat condescendingly, the expression positively heartwarming if you knew him, but slightly troubling otherwise.

Seila was shocked that the winged one next to her was talking to her, so shocked that she literally didn't know what to say and she didn't notice the lists and pens being handed out. When it came around to her she jumped a little before realizing what it was. She then took it, thanking the one who handed them to her graciously, then turned back to her seating neighbor. "Uh, umm, hi...." she said nervously. "Y-Yes, I" she looks around "I just got here and they told me there was a trip. And, uh, I figured, I y'know, come along to meet people. Though I never thought there'd be this many others here." she looked around again and seemed to huddle her legs a little closer to herself.

Seila took a quick glance at the list that was handed to her before taking a look around the cabin as to find anything in here that would match, though she didn't feel comfortable with answering the last one.

Night shuffled onto the train cabin his ticket had directed and stared at all the faces of people. So many and not a single person he knew or could possible get to know yet. Just by the abundance of people made Night a little worried that he might bump into the wrong person and spread some bad luck around the whole cabin. Figures being the only Black cat he could see. His tail twitched as he was handed a piece of paper and form to fill out.

"Oh, I haven't-" He started to speak to the girl before she rushed away leaving him standing like a idiot in the cabin. Looking around he found a booth with suprisingly no seats taken but was close enough to the group of students that Night could pick up on conversation. His eyes trailed over until focusing on a cat with stripes, A Chesire, his head cocked curiously as he eyed the female Kitty from afar before turning to his paper.

Quote:
THE LIST
I spy with my little eye... something that is...

* Striped.............The Chesire Cat over yonder, she looks very striped.
* Green...............Night's Ribbon? His tail swished as he wrote the response on the paper.
* Lovesick
* Energetic...........It was the Redheaded guy over there wasn't it? The one with the strange accent and a tumor popping from his forehead
* Shiny
* Festive......The girl who handed him the paper...Kasumi?
* Squishy
* Pathetic..............(Nothing?)

Night's ears perked to all the sounds of the scribbling of pencils as he stared at one student drawing reverently on his paper........

Predictable, delightfully so...That this guy would have an attitude to match that charming snippet of facial hair. A goatee, was it? Sighing, the youth ran fingers through shaggy, blond-tipped locks, "Squishy? Peh. Not usually, I think you're thinking of those of my kind that, oh, you know...have tentacles." His smirk was nearly on the same level of self-inflicted superiority as the toothy smile that his fellow demon had leveled his way. "I was sort of thinking you might be..." Smoothing out the creases that he'd just carelessly inflicted in the paper, he ran a neatly manicured nail down the page, "...the, ahm... festive option. What with that delicious shade of pink you have going on up top." And perhaps downstairs too, he could see those drapes matching the carpet. The look on Sharra's face was headed downhill, rather swiftly traipsing into the realm of devious. Honestly, this felt like one of the bits of banter he might have started up with his youngest aunt. And when the elder auntie squeaked at them and waved her cane, insisting that they stop fighting, they usually dismissed her concerns and continued their rather unique brand of bonding. It kept him in practice.

Ah, a blast from the past. This demon fella looked like he could pack a punch too. It rather looked like this trip wouldn't be the boring cruise along the train-tracks that the lithe demon had been anticipating. Oh goody goody gumdrop! Also, he was rather entranced by Westus' manner of speech, as it was almost exotic in comparison to the nergal's own. All right, perhaps exotic was far too classy a word by which to categorize the way the other seemed to uncaringly sling words about. Whatever the hell it was, he wanted to hear more of it. Still slouching back in his seat, Sharra's posture seemed to say, 'Well this is fun, do please continue...'

Israfel had done it again. He'd gotten some pumpkin spice cider. He'd never tell where, or how, because really. He was underage. He was a student. A bad combination to be caught with alcoholic beverages. Especially given the student council fiasco. Pink Elephants. SO. MUCH. PINK. SO. MUCH. ELEPHANT. The siren hadn't been able to remember half the night, but he got a wine bottle. One he was....not inclined to drink from. Who knew what ghastly concoction was inside.
Still, the siren had come to a grand dilemma when he was shuffled to the train station. He had a bottle on him. They would catch him. In his fear, Israfel chugged it down before making his way to board the train, paying little mind to the fact he'd forgotten just why it was a bad idea to drink cider so quickly.

"Coo~ coooo~" Entering the cabin, he stumbled into the far wall. Grinning at Kasumi he smiled. "Ur pretty. Pretty pretty hairrrrrrr~" looking at the paper and pens next to her he took one of each, eye running down the list.
"....But thurs no option fur pretties." A tiny frown. A frown the got bigger as Israfel's eyes scanned the room, noticing his favorite couple. "Why issunt Shehk skullfacing Nukpannurs yut?" He pointed at the skinwalker. "Yoo should ficks dat mistah pubic relations." The Siren's words were shot and slurred and at levels beyond terrible, beyond the halloween terrible standard even.

List in hand, he didn't even wait. "I GOT DIS THOS, DUN WORRY."

# Squishy = BOOBIES (He might have been looking at a female while he wrote this one down)
# Pathetic = I DON'T HAVE BOOBIES

Israfel was looking at his flat chest. Sad facing like ':c' he handed the paper back to Kasumi. "I don't have them." Eyes narrowed. "Yet."
Then he stumbed to a window, muttering something about how someday he would totally have them.
Whatever 'they' were.

Mo looked at the paper one more time as she looked at her tail which was still a little puffed out. The number of people grew she wondered how many where exactly in this cabin. Shuffling through her pockets once more she found her eyepod roaming across its surface. Mo looked down about to put them in when she saw another feline. This one was black she smiled and looked away for a second.

She looked back as he was speaking to somebody and they walked away she tapped a finger to her bottom lip. She stood up the coat dropping down past her shoulder to her wrist. Not leaving the seating area she called out to him "sham .... I mean..." she wasn't sure what to call out. Mo looked at the black cat "kitten would you like to sit next to me?" She didn't mean to be rude and really didn't take into consideration that he may not want to be called kitten.

Night watched as yet even more people piled in, including what looked.....and smelled like a very overly large drunk of a character. He snickered as he watched the boy intently, even so to try and sneak over and look at the answers on the boys paper. Though that was quite rude and considering he feared getting caught, he stepped back and looked around. His spot was lost now and he feared sitting next to someone, especially the red headed taller man in fear of offending them.

It wasn't till he heard the faint call from the Chesire cat he had noticed earlier and her gesturing to her seat. Though he cocked his head at the nickname. heading over to her, he had a polite smile on until he was in front of her before leaning over and sniffing and then smiling at her with full beam of power.

"Hello! I don't mind sitting next to you at all!" Night scooted over before sitting down across from the cat. His tail twitched out of his seating position and laid over his lap.

"My name is Nightengale XII! But you can continue to call me um...Kitten?" Night smiled at her, cocking his head, "Your the first to give me that nickname so far, So I don't mind! Whats your name?"

Mo looked at the feline and sat down she pushed the dark coat back up back on her shoulder and blushed. "Oh I am sorry I didn't think about how you would feel about being called that." She looked at her companion and for some reason she wanted to scratch his head. She never felt the need to scratch a complete strangers head before.

"Im Mosi " she giggled at his comment and awwed a bit at it his comment. Without thinking she reached her hand out to pet his head. She pulled her hand off of his head "sorry" she smiled slightly. Pressing her hand against her the black shirt. Her cheeks flushed and she put her head down.

For the most part, Riley was blissfully ignoring the chaos that the traincar had suddenly become with an influx of students. That didn't mean she wasn't listening to the strains of conversation with a keen ear, however; especially since the only other thing that had been given to entertain her was.. a game of I Spy. She heard someone mentioning tentacles, and thought perhaps this person might be talking about her; it so happened that Sharra and West were sitting in the row behind Riley and Jericho, however, so her tentacles reacted to hearing the word by rising over the seat and lounging languidly over it. They pointed eerily at Sharra for a second, before Riley rose and turned just slightly to peek over the seat herself. Her tentacles remained pointed at him as if waiting to hear more.

What was that? Riley thought to Sharra, though she allowed the thought to be heard by both West, and Jericho. There was no point to keeping conversations private in a place like this.

Little did she know, she'd already been counted as the squishy on someone elses form as well. The tips of her tentacles squished inwardly for no particular reason, as if they'd just sucked on a lemon.

If it weren't for the light teasing feeling the words of the mindflayer seemed to had, Jericho probably would have been more irritated by them. But it was there so he just kind of brushed it aside.

"No. I can breathe fire. It's not really something gravely important to me, but it has its uses at times," he responded. Seeing how Riley didn't seem all too worried about the lack of natural abilities like a number of the other passengers, he could only guess that hers wasn't something she relied on much either.

"Yeah no kidding," he mumbled in regards to how this wasn't the party car. Were they really serious with this game? Taking the paper, he looked it over with relative disinterest while listening to the little exchange between Riley and the ones behind them. Well, he supposed that the Mindflayer was rather squishy... if that was what the other demon referred to.

Calder hadn't been noticed, and with good reason. The kelpie had never been on a train. He had taken a boat to school, and he never once traveled outside of that occasion. When visiting family, it was always by hoof, swimming mostly, to their place. That or ferry of some sort. To be a on a real train – that was something, and he was a bit over enthused over the who thing.

While the other students complained or looked confused, the white-haired boy was on his hands and knees beside his chair, looking under the seats, examining the floor, rubbing the walls with little 'oohs' and'aws' before looking up and smacking a big smile as he watched the world fly by his window. His expression would have been more fitting on the dog that someone brought on the train, and his horse tail flicked and swayed behind him.

It wasn't till some of the edge swore off and he started to settle a little bit more that he finally took stock to who was all with him in the cabin. Crawling up from the floor and poking his head out from over the seat in front of him, he noticed only a few people that he knew, the rest strangers. Shehk was there, which made him smile, but his ears flattened when he saw Nuk with her.

Blowing some air from his nose in a snort, he rose up and moved over to see what all the commotion was about. Before he even had a chance to meet his friend, a boy stood up and started to introduce a game. Blocked, he looked up at the boy, the pile of papers, and snatched up a list for the sake of showing he was participating.

Pulling out his serpent pen, he looked at the list and frowned.

Quote:
THE LIST
I spy with my little eye... something that is...

• Striped – My scarf
• Green – My scarf
• Lovesick - Shehk
• Energetic – The dog
• Shiny – The train… lots of metal!
• Festive – The train
• Squishy – My insides
• Pathetic – Nuk
Annoying -Nuk
• Evil – Nuk
• Has a ugly face – Nuk
• Needs to leave innocent girls alone – Nuk
• Should be thrown off the train – Nuk!

Calder grinned at his additions, and folded up his list. Moving over, he waved to Shehk. Just Shehk. Not to the ugly mug that was Nuk's excuse for a face. "Hello Shehk. Having fun on the train?"

- Jack on the pumpkin throne, that cat-student was green. Ever so green. Eye-searingly green. Almost greener than Gargantuan.

Malodore made a note on its I Spy sheet, then tapped Luce sharply on the nose as the cwn annwn apparently caught wind of a feline presence and started to growl, low in her throat. "Silenzio," the plague doctor ordered. It was not going to have Luce chasing other students!

Not now, anyway.

Luce grumbled and sat down again, though she kept turning towards the green cat with a very suspicious look.
PostPosted: Thu Dec 09, 2010 10:54 am

Ah, green thing had been located! Though not as green as himself, that cat definitely glowed didn't he? Amused, he put down notes of the cat soul in the Ispy with a mini note: Needs more green to outdo me, but he's getting there. But he wins for most eye catching attire, most definitely. Nodding and seemingly pleased with it, he put the paper and pen aside as he leaned back in his seat and looked bored.

How many more students would be showing up? This sitting around was boring to him... though in the back of his head, he wondered where Amrita was. Too bad the little thing wasn't in his cabin. Jack it all, he should have brought his mini notebook with him. It had all his notes on her in it... that girl needed a new outfit choice and he was going to find it! Whether she liked it or not! >3

The Dog's growling made him look at it in bafflement. It took a bit before the obvious sunk in and he felt bad. Poor pup wanted to run around! Or.. go after the green one. But then he looked over at the still uncomfortable bird and he tsked in sympathy. Really the seats had to be too small for a winged being like himself. Even his own wings were displeased with such.. cramped accommodations. But such things were minor details in the end and he leaned back and closed his eyes.

Braumithras's eyes darted up to Kegan glowering with discontent. Propping himself further up from his lounging position, but keeping a wary eye on his leg that was still draped over the second seat in his little compartment, he snorted at Kegan's speech with a roll of his eyes.

"Why in the world are YOU using avian endearments? You don't even have WINGS. It's like me calling you a 'good puppy'," he rationaled. And it was true, Braum really did think of things in those terms. Joking around between birds was all fine and good, joking in-between species was not. It's what divided the fine line between 'teasing Israfel' and 'racial slurring that godforsaken undead b***h'. He knew Keagan hadn't meant it as an insult, and he didn't overreact to it. His tone was more like one you'd get if you were patting a child on the hand and saying 'no, do it THIS way'.

Kneading the muscles of his wing again, he inwardly groaned. He was NOT going to enjoy the trip as much if he found he couldn't fly or float when he got off this damned train. He flinched as his hand crossed over the worst of the pull, his face cringing for a moment. What he wouldn't give for one of the girls smoothing his feathers right now. Propping himself up more, in an effort to stretch his wings as much as possible in the cramped conditions, he got on his knees, looking over the back of the seat to stare at Kegan more openly, the pen and I Spy paper falling listlessly to the ground to cover a small, octopus inclined hat he hadn't noticed. Taking a steadying breath, he fanned his wings out and down, until they were brushing the floor, then smoothed them down even further, the longest feathers nestled safely underneath the seat of the compartment in front of him. If you looked at him headon, it almost looked like he didn't have wings anymore, safe for the bunch of muscle just above his shoulders. It wasn't IDEAL but the stretch was better than nothing, and he sighed, still upset and hurting, but less outwardly distructive.

Glancing at Kegan incredulously, he chuckled, a faint bitter edge to his voice.

"You're actually DOING that silly I Spy thing? What are you, five? Surely there has to be SOMETHING better to do than that?" he remarked, raising a manicured eyebrow as if waiting for Kegan to come up with an idea to cause trouble. Truthfully, it was what Braum wanted. Stir up someone else, get them to come up with an idea to cause trouble, and then senselessly join in to vent his frustration and cause chaos and calamity. Yes. Yes that sounded absolutely marvelous right about now. He wanted to break something.
