Show Me How To Lie....
While his expression didn't change, he allowed Mizuki to move between them. The man took a step back, already noticing his friend's disappearance into his room. His cold mask shattered, and he looked only sad. "I apologize for scaring you. Usually I do not act this way, but something you said last night hurt him." he turned his eyes from the closed door and back to the student. "You have siblings. I am sure you understand how it makes you feel when one of them is hurt by another, and there is nothing you can do to fix it." his tone was no longer cold, and he stood far enough behind Mizuki that he wasn't looming, but close enough that he could speak in his usual quiet tone and be heard. He wasn't sure if Sky could see him well, but he could see her well enough. He felt terrible for the way he had spoken, especially when Mizuki seemed to know exactly what was wrong; Pyry had only seen the woman who had hurt his best friend, and acted as such. The teacher stood very casually, his body language giving off what could only be taken as a passive vibe. He was not usually rude, and he was aggressive only on very rare occasions. He wondered if the girl could see that, or if she saw only a man to be afraid of.

Sky stayed on the other side of the mermaid and away from Pyry. She had to take a few deep breaths before answering him. "I'm sorry that I hurt his feelings at the same time I feel that it's rather stupid that he got drunk because of me." She commented. She really couldn't understand why that happened. "I think I should leave now. Please don't look for me in your class." She added before going for the door handle.

Mizuki still wasn't happy with Pyry even with the apology. They would still have that lecture later. Her boyfriend seemed to already scare the young woman out of his class. She was one of those people transitioning from child to woman and though she was partly mature she still had a ways to go before she was fully grown. She didn't stop the girl as she started to leave. She was going to keep an eye on Pyry so he didn't move so fast.

Show Me How To Lie....
"He drinks when he is hurt. If he is not coherent, he does not have to think about anything." he explained, shrugging as if it made perfect sense. "You were his first date since the woman who crushed him. He liked you. I think it will be a long time before he dates again because of it." there were plenty of nasty comments that he could say, but very few actually came to mind. He pushed these down, away from his mind as he turned to head towards the kitchen. He, too, now wanted a beer, but he refused to partake in such with a student in sight and Mizuki watching him. Juice would be nice.
Yes, he would find himself some juice and forget the girl existed. He stopped at her last statement, looking back over his shoulder. "As you wish. Not everyone can handle being told the truth." the way he said it was not nasty, and while he still looked rather upset, he eventually did turn. Reaching his fridge, he fights with the fridge for a moment, in plain view of the women. Jumping back as it finally swung open, he retrieved his juice quickly before pushing the door closed with one finger.

Sky let out a sob as she clinched the door handle. "No man wants me stop lying. I just an ugly girl who will die alone and be forgotten in time. I'm sure he didn't like me." She commented before opening the door and running away. Her cries could have been heard down the hallway as she ran back to her dorm. Her siblings were shocked and ran after her only to be much slower than her.

The dance teacher watched as the girl ran. Mizuki wouldn't have been upset if Pyry hadn't said anything the woman would have had a reason to be upset. Her temper had already started to cool down from his last statement. "Pyry! Why can't you listen to me? If you just had said nothing she may at least mended a little, but you have to be a idiot and open your mouth." Mizuki snapped at him. "Did I tell you to behave. Is this what you think of our relationship?" The woman questioned him. She didn't feel that she was being listen to. "I don't think she has any self-esteem now." She turned herself to the door.

Show Me How To Lie....
"I do not lie." came his smooth response, taking a drink from his bottle of juice. "And I know that man better than he knows himself." he finished, his voice carrying down the hall as she ran. He was standing near the door now, standing beside Mizuki. He looked at her, wondering if she disapproved of what he'd said. He had only been honest with the girl, and he had thought that was what girls wanted. He might have been a little blunt, but the spirit was still working on his 'tact', whatever that was. He turned to the mermaid, not saying a word as she scolded him. A strange feeling clenched his heart, and he looked down to hide his eyes behind his bangs. "I wasn't being scary, and she needed to know what she had done.... Mizuki, you did not see him this morning." he felt odd, unlike he ever had before. He was sorry for making his girlfriend angry, but he was not sorry for what he said; it had been the truth, and that girl had called his best friend stupid when she didn't know the full story. He couldn't stand it. "He was... empty."
The redhead erupted from his bedroom, leaping over the couch and practically appearing in the doorway as he heard Sky run off. He had obviously been listening at his door, and been unable to restrain himself when he'd heard her crying. It was wrong, what she was saying. He did like her. He stood in the center of the hallway, looking down the hall, then back to the door. His eyes fell on Mizuki; she was a woman, and surely she knew how he could fix this. "What do I do?" he asks, a wild and desperate look in his eye. He wanted to run after her like a mad man, but he didn't want to make things worse. He ignored the wide-eyed spirit behind the dance teacher; the redhead was full of life now, as if he thought there might be hope.

Mizuki didn't let up on her very upset face. "Pyry, she's still a child. A mature child yes, but still a child. She said she was sorry for what she caused Adney to do." The woman snapped at him. "I better cool down before I make a sure choice on if I should find a new boyfriend." She added. She was surprised when Adney came out of his room like a rabid dog. He at leas stated that he did like her in a way. She smiled at the redhead. "Start it slow." Her voice still a little upset, but it was directed towards Pyry. "Give her a letter. Don't force her to face you right off the bat. Give her room." She told the human.

Show Me How To Lie....
Calming at the mermaid's suggestion, the redhead stood straight and nodded. He glanced between the two standing by his door, looking confused a moment. "Are you two... fighting?" he asked, brow furrowing. He had never seen them so much as disagree before. It was odd to see them arguing, especially when Pyry looked up. The look on his face was one of hurt, and the redhead knew just how upset the blue-haired man was. Did Mizuki have that big an affect on him? Obviously she had, or he wouldn't look so upset, even with his next words.
"No. She apologized for hurting his feelings when she did worse, and then called him stupid." the spirit corrected, his voice very low. "Being young does not excuse her for what she did." he was surprised at his friend's deathly glare, taking a short step back. He looked away, only to have his head jerked back in the opposite direction; Adney had a firm grip on the blue-haired man's chin.
"You are not ruining your relationship because of me." he shook his head at his friend's attempt to speak, still holding tightly to the man's chin as he looked him in the eyes once more. "I don't care what happened. You apologize to your girlfriend however many times it takes for her to forgive you. She's the first person besides Cam and I that you've cared about. Don't screw it up." he released the other man's chin, covering Pyry's eyes a moment with his hand. "No waterworks, either. You're her man, not her sad puppy." his palm came away wet, and though his eye's were overly bright and shiny, the spirit did not cry. Adney spun on his heel, moving towards his bedroom and quietly closed his door.
Pyry turned to his girlfriend, unsure of what to say. His bangs hung low, hiding parts of his eyes, and he made no move to brush them away. He opened his mouth to speak before closing it promptly, not knowing what to say. He paused, glancing briefly at the door his friend had disappeared behind before turning back to Mizuki. "Mizuki.... I am..." he didn't know what he was, and stopped. Sorry? Awful? Stupid? All were sufficient choices. "Sorry..." he finally finished, choosing what sounded least like self slander.

It seemed that Adney seemed to listen to her. He was listening to her. Then the question that the redhead came up with. That was a prefect time for Pyry to stop it and he didn't. It was lucky that Adney stopped his friend. Adney left the room and her eyes focused on her boyfriend. Once she heard the word sorry she was happy. The woman smiled and came up to her boyfriend and gave him a kiss on the lips. That's all he really needed to say. "Thanks Pyry. I don't think she meant that Adney was stupid. I think Sky meant that he should get upset over her." She told him.

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Simply nodding at her words, he glanced back at his friend's door. Adney had been right, but Pyry still wasn't very happy about it. He had been unusually cold for the first time in a very long time, and he still felt bad about it. Turning back so he was facing Mizuki, he didn't quite look at her yet. "I am sorry.... I just..." he stopped, wondering briefly if Mizuki even wanted to hear it. "I do not take seeing him like that well... He has always liked bourbon, but I have not seen him like that in a very long time." the sight had frightened him, though he had done his very best to hide it. He was quite lucky that, despite his friend's usually intense personality, he wasn't an angry drunk; the blue-haired man would never raise a hand against Adney. "He and Cam are my only family, and we were living fight or flight for so long, that I believe I forgot where I was... who I was talking to." he had seen Josephine in the student, and he had already made up his mind about the girl the night before, when his friend had latched onto him until morning.

Mizuki smiled gently at her boyfriend. It was one of those gentle looks. "I know. You were just trying to protect him from heart ache and break. Just remember that you can't always protect him." She told him "I don't know who that person that hurt Adney like that, but I don't think this girl is another her. They may of similarities but they aren't the same." The woman continued. "Now you too better make an apology letter to her. I didn't think that girl was fully thinking about leaving your classes until you scared her."

And Your Voice Was All I Heard...
Smiling faintly in return, the teacher still looked upset with the whole events. He had calmed, though, and was no longer dangerously close to some sort of snap. "I would like to think I can." he responded simply, honestly meaning it. He would fight to the death for the other man, but that was nothing that needed to be said aloud. Checking the door swiftly to be sure Adney wasn't there, the spirit's voice lowered faintly. "I will tell you the story sometime, should you wish to hear it." he tells her, believing it might help explain both men's reactions.
At the mention of a letter, the teacher nodded agreeably. "I will write her a letter of my own." he promised her. If it would make his girlfriend happy, he would do it. That, and he was sincerely sorry about the way he had spoken; he had wanted her to understand how what had happened last night affected her date, but he had gone about it the wrong way. He would both apologize and explain, even if he had no intention to tell the girl about Josephine in detail. That would be Adney's place to do so. He offered to tell Mizuki simply because he was starting to become quite serious with her, at least on an emotional level, and he would tell her anything should she simply ask. Pyry had nothing to hide from his girlfriend.

Mizuki smiled as she could see and hear that her boyfriend was coming to terms that they all played a part in the confusion. Even Mizuki who was an outsider had her own movement to add to the mistakes. She leaned her forehead against her boyfriend. "You know I'm proud of you and I love you, now we need to work on your nasty temper." She said in a playful tone. She even added a giggled so that way he knew that she was joking.
