Belt directed her attention to the ghost for a second. He looked perfectly harmless so it didn't seem like he would cooperate with her about being used as a weapon. Hearing a male voice she turned her attention towards the male owner. Thinking about her previous question she decided to add something. "I was curious to what you might recommend from this store. I also want to get a few sweets for my...comrades. I don't think they eat sweets very often so do you have any sweets that are mild?" Belt asked the owner. Belt couldn't really call Scanty and Kneesocks friends.

Kaoru would nod to Scarf, while holding onto the salty treat Cappy had given her. perhaps she should try it, while looking around. And when she did, she was surprised!! As one who didn't normally eat salty things very often, she found it to have a nice taste. Hm....
Still, she would look around, while overhearing Belt's conversation. Her cowlick twitched twice, as she listened. At that moment, she saw the most beautiful chocolate truffles she'd ever seen! OOOH!

"We'll there's our most popular Mont Blanc, but if you're looking for something less sweet I guess pound cake would be good."

Belt though about his suggestions. Pound cake sounded good for Scanty and Kneesocks, she could get that for them. But.... "What is Mont Blanc?" Belt asked curious to what he was talking about.

Hm? Kaoru heard the name of something that sounded interesting. Like it was exotic, or something.
Walking closer to the two now, she would listen. Perhaps it would also help her decision!

Scarf paused for a bit, as if he was searching for the definition of a Mont Blanc in his mind. "A classic dessert of sweetened, pureed chestnuts subtly flavored with vanilla. The mixture is riced and mounded into a high, fluffy mountain on a platter. And is capped with whipped cream or crème chantilly. "

 Cappy was sitting silently at the small table in the corner of the shop. She was listening to those three speak. "I think a salty treat would be better..." She thought to herself. She began to swing her feet back and forth, humming to herself thinking of salty treats.

Belt's mouth watered as the male explained about what a Mont Blanc was. Swallowing she placed her arms down by her sides. "I will have your pound cake and Mont Blanc then. What is your name by the way?" Belt said and asked. If she was goign to thank him she needed his name.

He would hand her a business card of his shop with his full name, number, and building address. "It's all on the card, m'am." Placing it on the counter he would take out a Mont Blanc and Pound Cake into a box, and while he was at it he filled a bag full of the same salty candy he sold to Cappy.

Cappy perked up when she heard the rustling of the oh so familiar treat. She looked over at the counter and smiled. She rose and pushed the chair in. She made her way over to Scarf. She made sure to keep her distance from the red skinned woman. Cappy rocked back and forth on her heels.

Belt looked down at the card seeing that his name was Scarf. Grabbing the card, Belt put it inside her pocket and grabbed the bag of sweets. She looked to her side seeing how the young girl was staying away from her, or at least keeping her distance. 'Wise girl...' Belt thought and smirked to herself when the man called her 'ma'am', but quickly returned back to normal. "Do you perhaps live here?" Belt asked curious about the two story store.

Well. The name of that treat sounded interesting. Perhaps she would get that, and some truffles. For the time being though, she would wait, while Belt talked to Scarf. On occasion, she would look over to Cappy, and chuckle. She was quite innocent and sweet. Ah, those days...

"...That'll be 17.95" He said, avoiding her question in the meantime he handed the bag of candy to Cappy, "And that'll be the same amount as last time, Miss."

When Cappy's eyes met Kaoru's she looked to the ground. "Wait.. That isn't polite." She thought to herself, so then looked back up and waved shyly, then looked back down to the ground. She proceeded to reach into her bag and handed Scarf the correct amount of change. "T-Thank you..." She reached up and took the bag.

Belt raised a brow as Scarf ignored her question. 'Humans can be impolite...' She thought and grabbed about the money from her pocket. "You don't have to be rude. All you have to say is, 'Yes.' or 'No.' Even if it is a lie, it wouldn't matter, right?" Belt asked leaving the money in her hand for Scarf to take.
