In the pausini-fan forum, I see them shorten up "sei"(meaning "two") as "6".

For example, "6 la più divina!" 3nodding It's kind of cool.

There are tons in Chinese!

Even if you count tones as part of "sound the same," there are still plenty of things like:

(dian4) -- electricity
(dian4) -- store

(zuo4) -- to do
(zuo4) -- to sit

(shi4) -- to be
(shi4) -- matter, affair
(shi4) -- test, to try
(shi4) -- room
and so on.

And then if you take tones out of the picture (say, if you're tone-deaf or something, and so they'll all sound the same to you anyway):

汽车 (qi4che1) -- car
骑车 (qi2che1) -- to ride a bike

看书 (kan4shu1) -- to read books
砍树 (kan3shu4) -- to chop down trees

and of course the ever-so-popular and hilariously common mistake:

请问 (qing3 wen4) -- "If I may ask..."
请吻 (qing2 wen3) -- "Please kiss me."

我是 (wo3 shi4) -- I am
卧室 (wo4shi4) -- bedroom

我是卧室。 (wo3 shi4 wo4shi4) -- I am a bedroom. xp
