Landry put both hands on Riker's wrist, trying to free himself once again from the vicegrip style maneuver. He eyes closed, but the pain still there. There is no eye machine at the gym.

After digging into Landry face for a few moments, Johnathan decided to change up the pace. He went to grab a hand full of Landry's hair and pull him to his feet. If successful Johnathan would try and whip Landry into a corner.

Landry was forced to either come to his feet or lose his hair, and then whipped hard into the turbbuckle.

Johnathan charged in shortly after Landry, barely giving him an inch. Just as Landry hit the turnbuckle, Johnathan bent down and went to drive his shoulder into his pelvis. If successful, Riker would try and toss Landry with a fireman carry.

Landry's gut was once again tested as all the wind was driven out of him in one thrust. He was then tossed headlessly with the fireman's carry onto the mat causing him to arch his back in pain. The champ was making a resurgance and Landry was in desperate need of a solution.

Johnathan quickly went to lock in a sleeperhold on his unsavory opponent. He was looking to keep his flow unpredictable to keep Landry guessing.

Landry thrases about with the sleeper applied. But soon his thrases become minor inconveniences to the Champ as Landry begins to fade.

Johnathan felt Landry fading and wasn't ready to end this yet. He released the hold and went to throw Landry's upper body into the canvas. He would then get back to his feet, and head over to Landry's legs. Riker bent down and grabbed Landry's ankle looking to drag him across the mat into the center of the ring.

Perhaps Landry was playing possum, but for whatever reason Landry was able to sit up while he was being dragged and try to scoop Riker into a small package.

Riker didn't even see it coming, before he knew it he was get pinned by the challenger.

Johnathan managed to kick out of the small package roll up, and save himself from an embarrassing defeat.

Landry sat up, incredibly frustrated that his sneak pinfall attempt failed. He sat up and got to his feet, running the ropes and rebounding back trying to knee Riker in the back of his head.

Sitting up, Riker was just trying to get his focus back. However his goal would have to wait as The Heartbreaker nailed a vicious knee to the back of Riker's skull. He snapped forward before dropping to his side, laying on the mat at right angle, holding the back of his head in a sharp pain.

Landry came to a halt as soon as he heard the 'crack' from the knee to the back of the head. He scrambled backwards, hooking a leg and hoping he knocked Riker unconcsious through massive trauma to his amygdalla.

Again Johnathan managed to kick saving himself from defeat. He rolled to his other side, holding his head as one leg slowly kicked at the mat.

Landry sat up again and pounded the mat with his fists in utter frustration. He tried to roll him over onto his belly so he could attempt to secure one of his favorite submissions, the Scorpian Deathtrap. ((Boston Crab combined with a Full Nelson applied by Landry's legs.))
