Ashpaw opened his mouth to taste the air, as a famlilar scent entered his nose, "rabbit" he hissed as he lowered himself into a hunting crouch, the russles in the bush ahead of him let him pinpoint the location of his prey, he allowed himself to get as close as he dared before leaping and landing on the thin rabbit, he killed it quickly and trotted back to the females

Duskheart woke up at the sound of her kits tumbling back into the Nursery, watching as Stonekit landed on top of Greykit and Nightkit with a hrumph-ed. The three of them gave quite giggles as so not to wake the already waken Duskheart up. 'You three are such a handful. It's a good thing that there aren't any other kits in the Nursery because you all would be horrible influences on them." A purr rose out of Duskheart's throat, she was still angry at their behavior from the other day, but they were her kits, her deceased mate's kits, and she loved them all dearly.
"Are you not mad at us anymore, Mama?" Stonekit's soft mew sounded in Duskheart's ears as she watched her daughter moved slowly toward her.
"Duskheart, we know what we did yesterday was over the line. Way over the line, and we're sorry." Nightkit spoke with confidence in his voice, but was still wary of upsetting his mother again.
"Yeah we are, and are you really still mad?" Greykit's mew was unusually subdued as she also made her way to her mother. Well, at least they learned their lesson and are feeling guilt over it. And with that, all of Duskheart's angry emptied out of her as she curled her tail over all three of her kits and snuggled them closely to her side. "I could never stay mad at you three for very long." She whispered to them, beginning to wash them with her tongue as they tried squirm out of her reach, all giggling.

Ashpaw smiled through the rabbit, he dropped it and buried it in the sof sand, before he walked up the path once again, flanking Dawnpaw as they weaved their way through the thin underbrush

Dawnpaw smiled admiringly at Ashpaw. "I could never had caught a rabbit that fast." Though they both knew she could.

Dawnstar was about to smiled back when she suddenly went stiff and her eyes clouded.
Darkness comes to two
One brave and one true
Though the other has yet to know
And the knower has yet to show
Each will take the risks that come
And choose between another
One will lose the other

Ashpaw saw the clouded look and stiff position of Dawnpaw, "Dawnpaw, Dawnpaw are you ok?" he asked shaking her gently with his paw

Dawnpaw collasped to the ground. "I just got a prophecy." she whispered to Ashpaw, concern on her face. "I'm not a medicine cat." she said, then she fell unconcious.
(eh, it seemed like the moment)

Ashpaw crouched down beside her, "a prophecy? but why would an apprentice that wasn't training to be a medicine cat would get prophecys from Starclan"

Dawnpaw finally woke up, and she was still lying on the moor. Seeing Ashpaw, she jumped up and bowled him over. "I JUST GOT A PROPHECY!!!!!!!!! I GOT A PROPHECY!!!!!" Dawnpaw bounced around and was quivering with excitement.

Ashpaw who had been waiting for Dawnpaw to awaken, leapt to his paws as she awoke and knocked him over, "tell me what it was, Dawnpaw im dieing of curiosity!" he mewed shifting excidedly from paw to paw

Ashpaw paused as he heard the prophecy, "but what is that supposed to mean, Dawnpaw?" he asked confused slightly at the prophecy
