The Tropical Green ran headlong into Hers, nearly bowling him over as she lifted her head and peered into his eyes, Your Kaikuth is hungry Azuranmine! Yours didn't mean that! It is my fault?

She pushed against him, still playful but also now very careful not to hurt Hers, lest he go Between too.

In the meantime, the Ocean Coast blue remained where he was, scanning the girls with a sad expression. Was his not willing to come forward? Surely she saw him? Maybe... he sighed and laid his head down in the sand, still looking for her as he could feel her presence as surely as there was sand beneath his toes.

Meanwhile, the Lacustrine egg finally broke properly and another blue emerged. He too played a quick gaze over the boys and then turned to the girls and... went to flop beside his bother and girl-gaze. Granted his expression was not nearly as melancholy as the Ocean Coast's but there was an unhurried air about him, as if he already know who he wanted.

Zeren sighed as the Green went to someone else.... until he noticed who the lucky boy was, "Congrats Azuran!" he mouthed silently his eyes flickering towards the second Blue just hatching. He hoped desperately that His was there .....somewhere.

This was...turning out to be a rather unusual hatching Mercy was thinking to herself as she watched the greens both head for the boys and the blues both flop onto the sands to stare at those in her own line.

The whole affair with the brown had been terribly sad but they'd all been told this happened sometimes and she wanted to remember this as a happy time..dwell on the good that was happening no the bad she told herself. The buried egg was a touch worrying however - I mean what if there was something wrong with it? Why had it been buried in the first place and recalling the way they'd all tramped about it's siblings - what if one of them had stepped on it and hurt it?

Ashmere found herself now dry eyed as she watched the other green find her match, another young lad. Tilting her head slightly to the left the harper gazed back at the two blues that now lazily lounged on the sands as if they were waiting on Theirs to just stroll over and join them. At the thought Ashmere found herself laughing outloud but soon stiffled the sound behind her hand.

Surely that really wasn't what they were waiting on was it? Shaking her head slightly the thin framed brunette crossed her arms over her small chest and just grinned warmly towards the two dragonets and the remaining eggs.

And another blue, who came to rest beside his brother and...watch the girls? Were the looking for Theirs, or just looking? Or waiting for something? The sad look on the first blue worried her a little. Surely he wouldn't just give up? From so far away? Then again, the brown had. Adi leaned forward anxiously. "Come on," she encouraged quietly, "There are lots of us here who'd love to love you. Just come a little closer, you'll see..."

Behind the chatty weyrbrat, Allia was getting tired of standing on her tiptoes, and shuffled to the side a little to try looking around her instead of over. Sometimes she really hated being short!

It was a happy moment when the happy green picked her rider. That just left the blue, and what was he doing? Wykla urged him to get up and find His. How can you just lay there? She was baffled. Usually it was the atypicals that pooped out.

Oh! Another egg hatched. It was a second blue..... and he was coming to the girls too? This tickled her funny bone certainly. Two greens to the boys and it looked like two blues to the girls. What made her laugh out-right was the second blue joining his brother to gaze at the female candidate population.

Oh, good. The little Green had found Hers, assuming that’s what the tackling was about, and since it didn’t seem violent, just... excited, that seemed like a fair guess. Nayetuel was glad; he had no desire to see any of the other babies vanish. And another Blue had popped out, joining his brother in simply sprawling and people-watching. Well, girl-watching. He’d thought that usually Greens preferred the ladies, and Blues preferred the boys, but maybe he’d gotten it backwards? After all, the Greens had been very confident about perusing the boys, and the Blues were definitely focused on the girls. Either way, at least none of them looked agitated or scared, so hopefully they were just being leisurely in finding Theirs, and not having trouble.

Speaking of dragonets finding Theirs... Azuran was taken quite a bit by surprise when the playful green from before ran straight into him, nearly knocking him over. Even more surprising was when he next heard her voice in his mind? What? Blue human eyes looked down into blue dragonic eyes, and the instant they met Azuran felt the connection. It was beyond anything he could have imagined. "Ah, no, not your fault at all." She could have knocked him over and half buried him and he wouldn't have minded. This... this had to be the happiest moment in all of his life.

The dragonet gave Hers yet another playful push to help bring him back to reality. May we eat then, Mine? Your Kaikuth is still very hungry.

"Ah, of course, of course. Sorry." The teen lead his partner over to the feeding tables, smiling and nodding as he caught Zeren's congrats. He hoped the other Candidate would be fortunate enough to find his partner in this clutch as well.

Shedrawn sighed and wondered about the brown's fate as he stood with the boys, he had been one of the last ones into the hatching bowl because he was a chores that had been a little further away then he would have liked, But he had felt the thrumming all the same. He was happy for the green and her chosen and he wished the ocean coast well on his quest.

Two blues emerged... and both seemed mildly interested? Their gaze seemed to drill into all of the candidates... at least they were not running away? She feared they too would go between. Tila shifted uncomfortably at their gaze. Another green had impressed as well, the little green now had hers as the pair shifted away from the candidates.

She wondered who the little blues would choose, she wanted to comfort them both... though only one seemed really sad.

It seemed the two blues weren't too inclined to move and their hesitation was making many a person nervous. Were they waiting on something? What?

Activity in the clutch drew attention as two more eggs began to crack and break. An icy blue head poked up from the Alpine Egg and creeled as he pushed and rolled over backwards, smacking against one of his sibling's eggs. It was enough to break free entirely and he shook him self, flaring oversized wings. Even at such a young age, it's obvious this blue is meant for the air, especially with the way his wingtips drag on the ground as he stumbles forward to greet his brothers.

The trio warble to each other for a moment before the icy blue all but shoves the melancholy Ocean Coasts blue and turns his head to the girls. Calling again, he takes his steps carefully, head held up high as he searches their ranks, never once considering the boys.

Eirlyn had to suppress a laugh as the blues all seemed fixated on the girls while the greens had sought theirs with the boys. It was normally the other way around but the dragons knew best, did they not? She patted Feynath's foreleg and smiled, remembering the day she Impressed. It wasn't something a rider ever forgot.

Wykla grinned as a third baby blue came out to join his brothers. Maybe he could give them a good push on the rump. She moved over just a little to get a better view of the blue trio. That last one had really long wings for his size. Her hope was that he'd grow into them.

"C'mon boys. You need to do more than just lay there." She murmured softly to them. If they heard, they probably wouldn't tell. The Ocean Coast blue had been out longest. How long before they have to pick?

Ashmere chuckled again as she saw a rather lanky winged blue pop forth from his shell and wobble forth on the sands. The harper fangishly grinned at the blue tri-unity all seemed to be set on female riders, now that was not something that happened everyday. Ashmere was truly pleased to just be so close to the dragonets and standing on the sands. Even if hers wasn't here and by the time the next clutch happened she very well could age out, she was still just relishing every moment that the day was bringing with it.

Oh the songs she would be able to write after this hatching!

Keeping her shoulders straight the slim built woman looked at each blue dragonet, not once thinking that one of those lovely males was meant for her, rather she could see them pairing with some of the other girls, maybe even her new little friend Wykla, yes. Now that would be wonderful for her friend!

'Come now boys, don't leave Yours waiting too long, look at all these pretty girls just begging to be chosen, go on you lucky three chose Yours!' Ashmere cheered metally towards the trio with mirth and incouragement in her tone.

Another blue for the girls, Shedrawn smiled well this has been interesting to say the least. The three blues looked like they were very happy with their decisions and had left the boys in the dust. these must be some powerful women. He was so proud. This was his Weyr. he wondered about the buried egg though would it hatch? Well he would just have to wait he thought as he all but vibrated in the boys line, while still trying to keep still.

At least her first Hatching had occurred during the day. Rene had heard tale of mid-night hatchings, or mid-meal hatchings. At least this clutch was polite enough to not be either. Her robe had been found, and was slightly wrinkled, but what were you gonna do? Not much! Rene followed the others towards the sands, and they all stood in their little area, waiting for the action to start.

It was weird, how the eggs cracked and a baby dragon popped out. They were so.. Small. Small and pretty uncordonated. The green was happy, at least. So was her sister. Then a brown hatched from the judging egg, and it looked pretty distressed. It dug out another egg much like itself and-

The oddest feeling, like a thousand nails on the back of her neck. Rene gritted her teeth and looked for the dragon, but he was gone, and the rest of the herd was making this noise that just send chills up her back. It'd betweened? Why the hell had it done that! Little worthless creature!

After that, a little blue hatched from the depressed egg. It looked cheerful, for all it's mannerisms in shell, but the cheerful color was only skin deep. It flopped on the sands and looked... Well, lazy. Rene rolled her eyes at it. Get up and Impress, you lazy male!

The second green Impressed, and another blue hatched. He was just as unhurried as his lazy male, making Rene again roll her eyes. Really? "Pair'athem needta get offa their lazy behinds and get over here." She growled to herself.

A third sharding blue hatched, and was again heading in their direction, though this one at least seemed to be willing to look. Rene frowned at it and waited for it to come near, her arms crossed irratably over her chest. Let it come!
