Sadhbh couldn't help but look bemused. The two were bickering like children. Immortals often resorted to minor arguments if they were bored, the smallest things annoyed them. Eternal life does not suit anyone, especially Immortals. They have quite aware of this. But, always justified themselves one way or anothe. Although she had to admit. Skor was right. Marcus was very annoying. And the fact that Skor had been respectful and yet was still interested in the books intrigued her. It seemed he was no ordinary demon and that he hadn't been a very ordinary human either.

Skor sighed "This conversation is going no where" he turned back to the books "go bother other people." Skor saw more books that interested him, he dared not to touch them 'The girl might say something' he thought to himself, Kew hopped out of his jacket pocket and took a book that Skor wanted and held it open for him to read "Damn it Kew you can't come out!" he hissed while snatching Kew back into it's home and he touched the book and it went into flames, Skor cursed "Kew a god animal like you can't be seen with me or we'll both die" Kew looked at him with tears, Skor felt grief something he fed off on made him feel awkward "one of the rules Kew" Skor said simply blinking away his grief.

Sadhbh was slightly shocked at the sudden occurence. She was pretty sure that a demon like Skor was not allowed a God's familiar. But, she kept her mouth shut. There was no sense in meaninglessly causing pain to someone who hadn't done anything to deserve it. Besides it was obvious that Skor was lonely so he should be allowed a companion, it was only fair. She swiftly snatched the flaming book from Skor's hands. This wasn't meant as a rude gesture but a a practical one. She doused the flames and gently restored the book. It still looked singed and a few of the pages weren't in very good condition. But it would. She placed a simple protection on it and handed it to Skor. There wasn't much chance the boo could be ruined now.Softly she said "Read, but please show respect." She glanced at Addy to see whether her actions had offended her.She hoped not.

[[finally you post ^_^]] Skor looked embarrased "Sorry agian, please dont tell anyone you saw him and dont tell you didnt i read your mind but i still need you to say it to me so i can hold you accountable if word gets out" he looked at Sadhbh with flames in his eyes

Sadhbh inclined her head. "I will not breathe a word of it. Upon my honour." She knew what t was like to be alone. She would never begrudge anyone a friend. She wasn't surprised that Skor could read minds, he was a very odd demon She still couldn't shake the feeling that she knew him somehow. It was becoming unnerving. "Were you once human?" She inquired impulsively. It was a rude, personal question and she regretted asking it instantly. But, she had to admit that she wanted to know the answer.

Skor looked down at her, he dowsed the flames in his eyes "You could get into alot of trouble asking that question" he said "but i'm not a idiot demon like the others but yes i was once a human"

"Oh, I know and I apologise for any offence I may have caused." Sadhbh said looking up at him. She didn't feel intimidated though She met his gaze equally. Her question had been answered, but it simply raised many more. But she refused to ask any more of him. She halted her words and waited for him to continue the conversation if he so wished.

"I lived in a village about 2,000 years ago that was torn down by demons I only remember me and 4 other people wer with me two were my friends and the other was someone we just found" Skor continues "we were found my friends were slaughtered and the lost girl we found I told her to escape while I hold off the demons that have been pursuing us I fought hard and strong I killed about 20 demons two times stronger than I but I was defeated in the end but instead of them killing me their master made me his own follower," Skor felt tears forming in his eyes but the burned quickly due to his heat "so here I am now the body parts you see before you are the parts he gave me, my only regret is the fact that I have never asked the lost girls name."

Recogition formed in Sadhbh's mind. She had known he girl Skor was speaking of. The girl had told her the same story. Sadhbh had empathised with her and the girl had become one of her gifted chosen. The girl had lived a long, happy and full life. She had been granted entry into the afterlife of paradise. Sadhbh told Skor this and then added. "She spoke often of you and fondly as well". She reached to comfort him but her hand wavered as she thought he may not appreciate the gesture.

"Hmm so she is still alive" Skor thought over this for a second his gaze soon saw a hand reach towards him, he smiled and looked at Sadhbh directly "it's ok if you want to comfort me I'm still connected with my old human self unlike most demons" he grabbed her hand and placed it on his shoulder.

Sadhbh was caught off-guard by the bluntness of the gesture. But she accepted it and offered him a weak smile. "So are you searching for her name?" She asked.

"Well here is probably most likely to have your story in full detail. If you don't mind I can place protections on the books before you read them so that no harm will come to them." Sadhbh suggested while looking to Addy to gauge her opinion. After al they were Addy's books.
