Once he was on the ground he tried his best to stand on his paws to no avail. He was simply too tired. The smell of meat inticed him, and the little cub inched his way in the direction of the meal. At first he poked it with a paw, was it alive? He poked it again and then gave in, his little paw dragging a small piece to his mouth.

The little one tore into the meat, chewing and swallowing the best he could. once done he'd take another piece, purring contently as his tummy got more and more full. Once he had finished his meal, he rolled onto his back, purring loudly.

*Hope watched the little kitten. With a full tummy, he would soon be asleep. The first memeber of the pride, the cute little black and white cub.*

Karver roared annoucing himself home. He stopped near a large puddle and lapped at some water. The journey home left him famished. Once done, he quickly trotted toward the cave and peeked in. There was Hope, looking as pretty as ever..with a cub? "Heya Hope..I guess you just couldn't leave babysitting alone huh?" He smiled over at her as he walked toward them. Karver bent down and licked her muzzle; a sign of a "I missed you". After that, he went over to the other end of the zebra, so not to disturbed the cub, and began eating. "So.." He growled clawing at some of the carcass. "What's gone on since I have left?"

*hope perked up when she hears the familliar roar.* Karver, your back. *she nuzzled him happily* good to see you back okay. Everything was just fine here. And I found this lil cub,.. *shse jerked her head motioning to the cub* show, how did it go for you, wherever it was you went?

He licked his muzzle for a while then snorted. "The other King wouldn't give her up unless a trade or a fight. I'm not going to waste bloodshed on another female. So, I told him no and sorry to bother. Now, the female is upset that she couldn't go with me. I don't see what the problem is, she has a great life there." Karver finishes up and settles down beside Hope beginning to clean himself. Looking over at the cub, he smiled. "He is pretty cute. Ah, good thing you found him. He probably wouldn't of survived this long.." He then yawned beginning to feel tired. "Well..time for sleep. Good night, Hope." He licked her cheek again, then rested his head on his paws; his nose closer to her neck so he could take in her scent. It seemed to relax him as he slept.

The little cub fell to sleep soon after eating, his stomach full up, his body heavy and tired. He purred in his sleep, his little tail curled up under his nose.

Fayola jogged down the paths of the oasis, following the scent trails. She was getting closer to the heart of this new pride.
Every now and then she would glance back at the cub trotting at her heels. The poor thing was exhausted and hungry as well. The green lioness couldn't hunt, wasn't old enough or strong enough to do so just yet.
She hoped that she would find the pride soon.

Karver's ears began to twitch as he heard a faint sound. Raising his head carefully as to not wake Hope, he sniffs the air. The King decided that it would be best if he just roamed his territory just to make sure. Getting up slowly, he stretched a bit, then trotted out of the entrance. He only got a few ways away from the cave when he spotted her: a lioness with a small cub. At first, he couldn't notice her because of her coat; it blended in quite well with the grasses. Only when he saw the movements and heard the sounds did he know. Stepping up to the teen, he gave a low growl. "Is something wrong?" He questioned. Karver's head tilted slightly to the right in a questioning glance.

Grass flatten under a pair of tiny paws from a honey colored cub with medium sized crimson flakes flow about behind her ears. The young female cub came upon a small pond and took a sip of water to satisfy her thrist, that she worked up while walking around alone by herself with the absence of her parents. She looked around to see if she was intruding into the pride territory, nevertheless she didn't care if she intruded or not or if anyone was around. But the young cub still feared for her life so she was still cautious with her steps.

He nodded at the females question; waving his tail slightly. "How can I be of service?" His left ear twitched a bit, flakes waving in the now stirring winds.

Fayola smiled. "I'm looking for a pride to join. Could I join yours? I'm not alone though...Li Na is with me..." She glanced behind herself. "Ummm...I think she wandered off."
