For some reason, she was expecting him to have forgotten about her. Silly, wasn't it? They did have a huge day out, and if she managed to remember him he really had no excuse. She returned his smile as best as she could, though given the crowd she was too nervous to really smile. Too many people!

"Umm...It...It seemed interesting." She explained lamely, going back to twisting her hair for a couple of minutes. "You?" That train of thought was lost when she heard her name, and upon inspecting the immediate area, spotted Tahki. Her face lit up again and she stopped playing with her hair in favour of waving to her friend.

"Hi, Tahki!" Offering the Gryphon a small smile, the Vetala took a moment...and looked between the two of them in a sort of daze. Friends, she had two friends, right here! Hee. Maybe they knew each other? That would be great if they did. But...Tahki only said hi to her?

"Oh!" The thought hit her pretty hard; she jumped a little bit, as though shocked. "Um! T-tahki, this is, uh, Lucien. Lucien, this is m-my friend, Tahki." She introduced one to the other, then looked down at her heels in case they wanted to chatter or something.

Nuk seemed a little too pleased by the way Calder said his name, like he didn't like where this was going -- usually he'd count that as a +1 to his image, but this time, not so much. It was almost a shame that when he was at least partially trying to do his job (hey, he was allowed to enjoy his job too, right?) that he got a bunch of resistance because of... well... past experiences. Boy who cried wolf and all. Or in this instance, boy who was a wolf... or something.

"We are going to go be social, instead of letting you keep to yourself. I saw you over there just standing and looking around, not talkin to anyone. And it's MY job as PR to make sure you're having fun, right~? There's this nice... Shehk?"

Interrupted mid-sentence, Nuk lifted his head in surprise as he heard the Pricolici's voice, even more so when he felt her body against his back, chin resting on his shoulder. Swiveling his head around to look back at Shehk, his startled look quickly turning into a smug grin that clearly said 'I knew you couldn't stay away from me~' a fact he didn't dare say lest she smack him. It wouldn't have been the first time... not even the first time tonight, if the elbow to the stomach counted. So, wisely, he kept quiet, instead half releasing the Kelpie from his grip, very much distracted by his 'would-be/hopefully-to-be/already-is? girlfriend.

"I was not picking on Calder," He replied defiantly, the grin that was so firmly in place not helping his cause of convincing anyone, "In fact, I was trying to introduce him to Igneous, who told me she didn't know very many people," Nuk gestured in the living statue's direction, doing a double-take for a second at how still she was being. Like a statue. Who would have thought. "I thought Calder, being the nice guy he is and all..."

'If it wasn't for skullface on skullface action Mr. Nuk-PANNUH...'

What was this, gang-up-on-the-bully day?

"I didn't approve of me running, Count Chocula," Nuk's eyes flicked over to Israfel's approaching form, completely letting go of Calder to fold his arms across his chest, only half-scowling at the siren and glancing over in Igneous' direction. It seemed someone, a werewolf by the looks of it (a girl he didn't know, at any rate) had stopped to chat. Well... at least she was talking, that was good.

Israfel's earwings fell, not so confident when faced with the guy who could shove him into a locker and now get away with it. Still, his attention got ten times brighter as he saw the FEARLeader's reaction. Aha! So there was something going on! Something romantic~ It was totally happening. The badboil and the FEARLeader. Classic teen romance. Oh he hoped Calder was seeing all of this too!
Smirking at the new Public Representative, Israfel smiled in a sort of 'you have no idea how you look but its ten shade of adorable oh jack'. "Well, I'm sorry I don't conform to popularity contests...Even if you had a jacked good reason for running." A wink for the Pricolici. "She is like, one of the prettiest ghouls in school afterall." Leaning up and using his wings to allow him to hover just so the siren leaner in to whisper in the skinwalker's ear. "So, is she as good a kisser as she looks?" Feet back on the ground he smiled. Then he turned to Shehk. Maybe she heard him. But really, they were SO. CUTE. TOGETHER. How could he not tease them? "Is he a good kisser as he says he is?" This time Israfel didn't bother whispering the question. Before waiting for either answer, the siren was skipping his way back to the punch table to watch them from afar, his hand motioned Calder to join him and Yaya. There was totally skullface action going on.
Totally.

"Oh Yaya, I'm so sorry for ditching. But I couldn't resist!" He was twittering now. "They just were so jack damn perfectly tease-able. There is totally skull face action going on." He watched them. "I just know it!"

In an instant, Shehk and Israfel had appeared to come to his rescue – not that he needed it. He was a BIG boy and could handle himself, especially against the types like Nuk. While Shehk was being kind, he didn't like the cuddling between them. Poor, poor undead girl. As for Israfel, the mention of "skullface-on-skullface action" made him stick out his tongue. He would rather that these two were broken up and Shehk went off being with someone better while Nuk rotted in a ditch somewhere –preferably one he could visit and had the opportunity to poke at his bloated body with a stick each day while the birds made a short, small meal of his brain.

Rubbing his arm, he looked at Nuk with narrowing eyes, before looking to the side. "…..yeah, he's doing such a good job already." He muttered, looking over at the stone girl that Nuk had been trying to force him over to meet. She seemed social enough to make her own friends. She clearly didn't need Nuk's help. "……can't believe they voted for you." All because people jumped on gossip and wanted to somehow be involved in helping Nuk hook up. His campain had been horrible! "…totally unromantic." He continued to mutter, rubbing his arm as if Nuk had been holding too tightly.

"The wind?" There it was again, that doe-in-the-headlights stare that Lucien was way too good at inducing. She didn't have much time to dwell on it as there were introductions to be had! The small Vetala was secretly beaming that her two friends seemed to be getting along so far, but before she knew it, there was another ghoul standing there!

Where Tahki was more outgoing, Amrita became a bit more withdrawn. It was a stranger! Strangers always scared her...or at least made her uncomfortable. But, seeing as the Shadow Ghoul spoke first, the child was able to murmur a shy 'Hello' before looking down at her heels.

"D-don't mind." She managed to get out, glancing up for but a moment at the newcomer before sinking her gaze into the floor again, her reversed hands going back to twisting that poor, abused section of hair.

Sin blinked as she noticed someone crawling out from under the refreshment table, and then her eyes narrowed as she recognized who it was. She walked over to the little green monster and glanced under the table.

"Hello Chuppi...did you loose something?" Except her faintly raised eyebrow and tone suggested that she knew nothing was lost except the chupacabra's spine. This was who she had lost to? She felt her muscles clench a bit but slowly tried to calm herself down...mama was right she had to be...gracious. Besides it looked like Chuppi was having as hard a time being the winner as Sin was being the loser.

"So...congratulations on your win..." The words were bitter in her mouth but she managed to say them without any bile. Then she stopped as she noticed how...scared Chuppi really looked and she forced a smile herself. "I'm sure you'll do great..."
