at one point I had a game boy emulator on my computer and use to play on there.

I was pretty far on Super Metroid using a SNES emulator. Then everything crapped out for some reason..........

I realized that I was using a rather powerful computer (at least at that time it was powerful) to run a game boy. At that point I decided I could find something better to do.

well its true, you suddenly realize your using a current computer to emulate an Atari 2600 and you have to stop and think about it for a second because you could be playing Starcraft 2 instead.

Or you could accept that despite hardware limitations, people made some damn good games back in the day.

oh they did, most of my favs are on the SNES but I just find it funny when I use advanced tech to emulate old tech xp

like how xbox and PS3 offer the old school games for 2-5 dollars a pop, you can download and play them on your current gen system... but they are still old games running on a new system.

Again, they're great games.
A lot of younger gamers didn't get a chance to play them.
