Steve feeling better about the date already nearly forgotten her present….good thing he didn’t though. From behind him almost like magic were flowers(a), dead roses still somehow an intense red color and sharp as ever. They were wrapped up in a clear black plastic as shiny as his leather pants. “Almost as stingly beautiful as yourself.”

Steve swallowed the growing lump in his throat, trying to look as smooth as he possibly could. She was smokin' hot and while he didn't like to admit it, he had fallen, and fallen hard. From his leather jacket, he pulled out something for her as a gift. Handcuffs.
"I thought, you know,..." he stumbled, trying to regain himself. "Might be a great accessory?" He pointed to her studded belt. "Plus five to badassery, am I right?"

Steve gave a little inward sigh. She hadn't torn him a new one over his choice in attire and that was always a good start in his opinion. His train of thoughts briefly derailed at the hypnotic swaying of her hips. What had he been thinking about?
Lust's question brought him back to the stoop. A gift? Ah, he had remembered! He had brought a box of some artisan chocolates. They didn't have any weird fillings and could be melted down for...whatever reason, if his date so chose to.

At least she'd acknowledged his attempt at dressing nicely. He had, in fact thought long and hard about a gift... She might be allergic to flowers, a $5 bill is just mean, and hand cuffs made it seem that he was hinting something he wasn't sure he was ready for. But chocolates... there was only one flaw in them... But he didn't think she'd be offended in him hinting on gaining weight, or that she would only like them because she's fat already... Because, let's be honest... She wasn't that fat. Really!
"I bought you chocolates. They're the top brand... I can help you eat them later on if you like..."
He winked suggestively.

E. Handcuffs
Steve grinned shrugging lightly, "Well of course I'm going on a date with the most beautiful woman in the school," he stated noting how sexy she walked. He gulped lightly...was the room getting hotter? Taking a deep breath he smiled at the mention of bringing a present. "But of course, everyone knows that, and I have something nice for you..." Steve stated as he pulled out a pair of Handcuffs. "Here, these are in case you find me being a bad date, feel free to use them as you want," Steve stated still trying to pull off the bad boy routine.

He couldn't help but look at her as she moved but he quickly snapped himself out of it. Steve knew that he needed to be wary of this female. Oh yes, a present. From his first interaction with her, she didn't really seem like a flowers kind of girl so he decided to ignore those when he was at the store. He also bypassed the chocolates because that sounded... cheap. He had also really contemplated just giving her money but who did that on their first date? Steve sure didn't. That left maybe a more personal gift. He had seen them in the window and for some reason, he just thought it would be something that she would like. Holding his hand out, Steve gave her a skitters and hoped that he wouldn't strike out already. "Hope you like it. I've actually grown quite fond of it since I got it."

E. Handcuffs.
Steve had known the girl to be quite, dangerous and fiery...and you know he wanted to KEEP this one. Best way to do that is to handcuff yourself to her.
Then Steve learned she wanted to do WHAT with the handcuffs and kinda regretted bringing them.

Well, that was interesting, how she had assumed he'd brought her a gift. He had, of course, but that wasn't really the point, was it? It was supposed to be a nice surprise, not something that should be expected.
Anything he would have bought her would have been cheap, so chocolates and other candies or jewelry had been out of the question. And he figured some ghouls were allergic to flowers, so he decided not to go on that route either.
He handed her...
b. A crumpled $5 bill
"I figured you could spend it on whatever you wanted," he replied with a small smile and a shrug. He hadn't meant for it to get so crumpled, but it happened.

Still lost in the way Lust moved, it took Steve a beat or two to finally realize he was being asked something. " A what? Present?" He could feel his eyes grow wide in fear as he suddenly realized he had no gift for Lust.
Fffffffffffffffffff-
Hands flailed wildly from pocket to pocket of his suit, desperately hoping he would find something, ANYTHING, in one of them. His hand gripped at the inner jacket pocket, feeling a small lump of what could be a box. Quickly pulling it out he found a small box of c. Chocolates from Ghouldiva, a small note taped to the front labeled, 'In Case of Emergency.'
Well if this wasn't one he didn't know what would be. Hastily ripping the note off, he held out the box to Lust. "O-of course!"

Steve had heard someone that chocolate was an aphrodisiac, and for some reason... he'd instantly thought of getting Lust just that. Almost as if the notion might somehow entertain her. Then again, he wasn't about to tell her that much though, so he just hoped that she might somehow figure it out on her own.
He silently offered her the box and hoped she would read into it because just thinking about it was making him look mildly awkward.

He had indeed thought of a present, or his dating adviser had. Being careful to select the most delicious swamp greens, the kelpie presented him with a bouquet of pungent, rotting-yellow flowers that were slightly wilted and had the faint odder of molding cheese. To add to this, they were lightly dusted in powdered sugar and tied with black licorice. While he first thought this was supposed to be something pretty to look at to give to her (even though it wasn't), the kelpie only kissed his fingers and said they were a great delicacy. He hoped his date liked her greens.
And with a very awkward delivery, he held out the flowers and cringed. "I would never forget a present. Hope you like them." He certainly was happy to get rid of them.

A gift! Of course he had a gift. Steve might not be as sophisticated as some but even he knew not to show up empty handed at a date!
With a flourish he held out his offering - flowers! Not just any flowers though - these were raging snapdragons!
"Careful, these have a bite to them" he said casually.

Bloody Mary! he'd forgotten to bring her a present; wasn't it great he was starting things off right? He dug around in loaned leather jacket coat he'd borrowed.
"Oh, I know it's in here somewhere," he gave her a nervous-hopefully-charming smile and grabbing the first thing he felt, thinking that what he grabbed was some sort of bracelet he held out the handcuffs.
"For yo-" he trailed off looking at exactly what he'd pulled from the breast pocket of the coat, "yeah, for you.." He flashed another nervous grin, "Thought they'd go with your outfit." She was afterall wearing a striped black and white shirt..prison chic?

Steve adjusted his jacket at the sound of her voice, pulling nervously at his sleeves and trying really hard to convince himself that his rapt attention to her every movement wasn't leering. She could attack him at any moment, after all. "Uh, well." He dug around until he found the box, holding it out to her doubtfully. Chocolates were supposed to be some kind of aphrodisiac, right? Or was it oysters? Did oysters come wrapped and snuggled down in velvet? Crap, he couldn't remember, and her horns looked capable of goring him through if he said anything remotely stupid. If only her low neckline didn't provide such an enticing view, he might have even taken the threat seriously. "E-enjoy?"

a. Flowers
Whoa... it was really hard to concentrate. Steve took a few seconds to roll back up his tongue and shove it back into his mouth, shaking away any previous thoughts that made him regret NOT buying the handcuffs. Lilith. THINK OF LILITH. But man was it hard when she moved... her hips didn't lie.
... or maybe they did... he had to remind himself she was supposed to be evil.
Somehow regaining his thought process, (although after a great deal of effort, which he was certain she was marking points off for,) Steve glanced down at the blood-red corsage he'd brought, as if just remembering he had it. Ok, so sue him, he was kind of traditional. He would have brought chocolates too, but she might have given him an ugly look and thought he was trying to sabotage her. You know, by trying to make her fat or something. Girls seemed to react like that a lot.
"I... uh... brought you these. They match your eyes," he replied with the slightest of stutters, trying to keep his cheeks from reaching the same color as her hair. WOW, could he have BEEN any more corny?
(Edited an extra space out from between two paragraphs. It was really bothering me :<)
