We ended up with 5 complete teams, those of you who applied solo DO have team mates, and the skill levels range from:
GoldvPlat - BronzevDiamond
We have two Bronze Diamond teams and three Gold Plat Teams, so I am willing to accept this as fairly even, though the Gold Plat teams may have to take a VERY minor handicap, I`m not totally sure yet, I`ll have to do a little investigation, I`ll have to look through all of your availability times in order to work out a schedule.
Also, due to the low (and odd) number of teams participating the tournament brackets will be designed a bit differently in order to allow fairness and excitement.
Ill try to have the schedule up tomorrow.

I have the design figured out.
The 2v2 will no longer be a bracket style best out of three tournament.
Instead it will now be a best of One modified round robin tournament.
The round robin will consist of 5 teams, with 2 games played per round, one team receiving a free pass per round, with a total of five rounds.
The top three teams at the end of the round robin will continue on into the semi finals, a best out of three elimination.
The top ranked team during the round robin will continue on into the finals immediately, and the next two will compete to move on into the finals.
The winners of the best of 3 semi finals will continue on against the top seated team for the chance to win first place.
During both the semi finals and finals, the results of the previous games will continue into an extended match series similar to MLG.
That means the winner of the previous game involving both players will begin with a one point advantage, which means they need only one point to secure the win.
Example: If Team A goes up against Team C in the round robin and loses, but then meets up against them once more during the semi finals, Team C will immediately start the series with a 1 point leading, meaning they only need to win 1 match to move on into the finals.
This applies both to semi finals and the finals.
Since a round robin style involves a single best of One match per round, your map vetos will not be considered, HOWEVER they will apply to the elimination finals.
Each ROUND of the round robin portion of the tournament will feature a different map that each player will play on, that map will be revealed at the beginning of each round to all players.

I`m working on the schedule right now and I`m already running into scheduling interferences many of you request later evenings and weekends, which is understandable and that`s what I`m trying to set them up for, however I need to know if there is anyone willing to play matches during the weekday evenings, or this Friday evening?

Not that it should matter much to you, as I`m fairly sure you and Lilith are favourites to win the whole thing. lol

I may be do able, I understand that is an incredibly late time for you. We'll have to check with Tanger, reaper and Sausage to see if we can fit you guys in at either the 14:00 or 15:00 opening on Saturday, or sometime on Sunday.
