Not anymore. About ten years ago the Japs had this wonderful idea...let's make toilet seats that act like bidets (b/c bidets were separate entities back then and you had to jump from the toilet to the bidet before). So they put the water mechanisms in the seat and things evolved from there to multiple forms of washing capabilities. Fun times.

What I thought bidets were these, as in separate to the toilet? I see them in mainland Europe all the time.

I found it's name. It's a health faucet! And I've never used it for a**l washing (which Wikipedia suggests), I was taught to use it to wash my cooter, especially during period.

In America Bidets are primarily found in whorehouses.
