i dont understand why OTHER people dont understand why hackers do what they do: for kicks. they think its funny to mess up someones game. they havnt got anything ELSE to do.

i dont even think its possiable.......unless a action replay(gameshark) was used and it made a glitch

One simple way for them not to mess your games up:
TURN YOUR GAME OFF AND DONT LET JUST ANYONE IN YOUR TOWN!... sweatdrop domokun heart

they must have used a game shark but altered it a bit but that is terrible... he must have not gotten enough structure as a child

Bchan This was posted in the DS live journal community, and I think it's important to share:
WARNING! YOU NEED TO READ THIS!!! Everybody, please BE CAREFUL when you make a trade with a shady person. This will seriously become a bigger issue once more people learn about this. Ok, so I was doing a transaction with someone that said they'd give me a Metroid for free. I was all "yayyy" about it, until seconds after the initial transaction. A friend came in to the gate seconds after and behold, I could see that this other person was HACKING my game! My gate had turned into a Museum! I quickly powered off so everything was okay, but I couldn't have been so lucky if it wasn't for my friend coming in at that presice moment. If your gate turns into a Museum, you won't be able to get on Wifi Mode anymore without restarting your entire game Other people on the forum quickly began complaining that their gates had turned into a museum. Now they are stuck with a Museum Gate. I really don't know ways to prevent this and as of right now there's no way to fix this, but please just be careful! You could lose either any chance to go online or your entire town if you find yourself attacked by anybody doing this. Oh, and watch out for this person: code: 5025-7505-3343 name: Griefer town: LOL If this has happened to you(copied and pasted from somebody in the Gamefaqs forum): 1.get a friend to activate Immigration Mode 2.Grab all the bells & items you can 3.move to a friends town 4.if you still have items you want, move back & nab em 5. Create a new town 6. move back. Moral of the story: BE CAREFUL who you invite to your town! i'm glad i know that now

I read somewere about software that lets you edit your/someone elses town. This one guy let somone into his town and didnt pay attention, and when the guy left his town, he had four rivers without bridges.
...ooooOOh, I hate to admit it...but If I had access to that kinda software....well, lets just say that havoc would ensue. whee

Maruko of the 8 gates it´s ppl like them that are the cause of ruining the fun for other ppl, I was always bullied in the real world so I turned to the gaming world as a santuary...hearing ppl are causing pain on the net, I start feeling like there´s no escape...The world is a dark place and not even the strongest light will free me...all is lost... crying I know what you mean. I'm still bullied(is currently in 10th grade) and even game aren't a safe haven for me anymore. Now there's hackers in ACWW? I will never be able find a santuary again.

H.D. Bchan There's a hack out on the internet that will let you mess up your town or other people's towns... If you play over wifi, and let someone into your town, they may be able to hack your town and turn your gate (where booker and copper are - the area that allows you to go into other towns and lets other people come to your town through DS to DS or wifi) into a museum - so if you get hacked, you won't ever be able to invite people into your town or ever leave your town. The only solution is to make a brand new town... I've also heard that if you use the hack on your own town you can put it back (but I haven't heard of anyone using it and it working, and I'm pretty sure it's against Gaia's TOS to put the link to it here) Moral of the story: BE CAREFUL with who you invite to your town! I know what the gate and wifi connection is. I just don't get how they would do that and what they would hack exactly, I mean what they can log onto your characters somehow? but yeah, thanks for the warning. ok what they have is called a auto mated script and they incrypt the freind code in there datza bases and they go on via wifi and they come in and out about 10 times a day and witch disables your connection and i heard of resering your wifi settings will help to!!!
