Well, Li has to have some flaws when it comes to his intelligence and skills in intelligence-related subjects, so let's assume that Li cannot read backwards very well (although he could if he actually tried). First, he would get out his laptop to make sure that it wasn't backwards as well. If it was, then he would spend a large amount of time (as long as he could at least) figuring out what was written and fixing the documents, but he would also spend a lot of time, either way, listening to people in a conversation, keying out what they said to him (or what it sounded like), and then studying the words to try to see if he could put it in the proper order, which would be reverse for them.
In doing so, he would likely lose his enthusiasm in learning, as it would be too difficult for him, he would shut off his lap top, and begin to work on figuring out a way to get back to his own world while doing his best to avoid others, unless it would be necessary to interact (such as to get food or something, in which case he would likely have to point at pictures or learn how to say "rice" backwards, as that's the main part of his diet anyway).
Anyway, he would not have fun with the language. The pictures wouldn't bother him as much, most likely.
What would your character(s) do if he/she/it/they remembered vividly (not vaguely, but vividly and clearly) going to bed as normal, but woke up and found the entire house a mess, empty [[soda]] cans on the floor, half eaten pizzas in open boxes on the counter, and other signs that indicated that some wild party happened, except he/she/it/they remembered being alone, and his/her/its/their bed(s) and bedroom(s) were as neat as he/she/it/they left them/it?

Caleb opened his eyes just slightly, just to narrow slits... the place was a mess. What animal had decided to make its lair here? The signs of some kind of huge party/orgy were everywhere. Soda bottles, empty pizza boxes, strange stains where stains had not been before.
Shaking off half-remembered dreams, he tried to sit up ... bad idea. His. Head. Hurt. What the hell had happened? Trying to bring recollection of the night before, nothing really registered. He didn't remember inviting anybody over (he never did). There was no indication of who had done this (he had few friends, so there was a very narrow list).
Bemused, he began to sift through the wreckage, in a half-hearted attempt to bring order to this chaos.
Damn, and I have to go to work today.
...
What would your character do if: He/she was cutting into a tomato, and it screamed?

((Haha. Nice one.))
Li would likely let go of the knife, throwing it away from him, and jump back in surprise. He might even bump into something behind him or fall on his butt. He would then look to see if something else had been on that made a screaming sound, and if not, would probably throw the tomato out his front door, or put it in the trash and take out the trash, and avoid tomatoes for a while. He might also lose some sleep over it, wondering what had happened.
What would your character(s) do if he/she/it/they ended up in a world where everything was made of sweets (even the rain is candy), and every source of water was loaded with sugar?
