________________Bianca Marina______xxxxxxxxx Bianca smiled. Compliments were always nice. Better gotten then given, obviously. But who could get compliments without someone giving them? "I am glad you like them." She nodded, looking down at her creations with pride, and smiling. It was also good to know she had a sense of style as well, but tailors needed to have it. And a lot of it.
Hm, teal? Bianca didn't have any teal-colored stuff at home, did she? No, her one extra sheets were the generic white, her extra pillowcase was bright yellow, and the only fabric she had at the moments was a floral pattern she got for her seventeenth birthday, because she liked to use those. "Si, si! Of course! That is more than enough, Zelynity. I do not charge that much for just a tiny, tiny paio di scarpe!" Well, really she did, and it was only up for there. But they were really only the good ones. But she was her friend, and figured if she would actually be her first customer, she should give a discount. She also felt empathy for the poor-ishness. She was in basically the same situation.
"You come by my shop sometime, yes? I can show you some design, and make your own! ...Or something like that." Bianca smiled, then looked down and mumbled to herself. "I have to sell something and buy more fabric." Because a tailor had to have at least a yard of all the colors! ✄- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

  If Kade was a more observant person, he probably would have figured out that Ellie was being pretty nervous around him. From that panicked squeal she gave out when he first came up, to her hesitance after his little speech was done. But, this was Kade and when his eyes were on the little Kim doll in hand, that's where his mind was at too. It was so cute! He wished he knew how to make dolls like this..! Oh, and those puppets, but he swore not to play or touch those until he saw Nora again! And he wouldn't see the magician until she was done enjoying her time with her new boyfriend and their odd arguments. He could resist the temptation for now, though – just had to focus on Ellie! Who seemed to like the doll a lot!
He smiled brightly at the girl, stretching his mouth widely as he was so practiced at doing. He took the hand holding her pencil and turned it up, setting the doll into the opened palm. He wasn't going to drop it on her! What if she didn't catch it in time and it fell to the floor?! This toy was way too cute to be put at risk like that! “Good! Because I want to start giving Rune more stuff like this – no girl can have too many dolls!” Plus, he really wanted to make it up to the young mother, since he was so certain she was still mad at him about that whole borrowing business a season or two back. The best way to earn trust from a parent? Through their children, of course! Rune had better be prepared for a year-long-spoiling session, since that was how long it would take for Kade to believe Ellie was happy with him again.

Nothing wrong with her instrument..? Ha, looks like someone was being defensive. Mao raised an eyebrow again at that reaction, though he did enjoy doing this sort of thing. It was fun to watch someone flounder like that. He leaned in to study the strings on the cello. They were taut, he would admit, and seemed to be in order, but he could see that she didn't put her all in selecting the instrument. It wasn't spectacular, but at least it wasn't one of those horrible plywood sorts. He shivered at the thought of those monstrosities. He ran a hand along the fingerboard – not that much friction.
“I suppose the issue must be with the cellist.” He stated with a pointed glance her way, backing up a step and answering her during that action, “I play. Nothing of the strings, if that's what you're getting at, but I don't need to be a part of your little branch to give an opinion, do I? I'm sorry if I do, but if you will insist on waiting for another, more experienced cellist to come along, this isn't the place to try your luck.” Was she the only musician on this island? ..Actual musician. He didn't see any other booths in the musician's alley, after all.

She chuckled, "Oh, good. I was worried it wouldn't be enough, and I'm sure you know what I mean when I say these are bad..." She sighed and wiggled her feet.
❥"I'll come over soon! Very soon, and I'll get them from you. Hopefully, it will help you out. If no, then I will keep coming back each time my brother gives me my allowance." She chuckled again, nodding at Bianca. She knew they were both in a pretty shitty predicament, but she was always taught that helping others would help yourself. "Well, I better get headed home. My brother's probably worried about me, and it's kind of dead here. Again, it was great to meet you Bianca. I'll see you soon." Zelynity nodded and started for the door.

Ohohoh! A Festival? Just for him? Again? Ah! What a wonderful life was life in his brother's own contry! Of course, being the oblvious fool that was Reinbach, he was sure that the art festival was a festival in his honour, just like the tomato one had been. This was actually probbaly his dearest brother way of apologysing about them having been shot tomatoes in the middle of it. A simple mistake, yes, but a mistake nonetheless! Talking about his 'dearest brother' Gaston, he was standing next to him, yelling to a servant about having 'lost his p***s' or something along those lines. Reinbach wasn't quite sure what he was yelling talking about, but it wasn't important. He still had his own inside his pants and that was good enough for him! Arts of every kind (and by 'every kind', the author means 'extreamly ugly') were surrounding the front court of the Sonata mansion. The Masterpiece of it all being, obviously, the servant's blood-tainted door. Such design, only fit for a God!
On a little stage, on top of the stairs leading to the front hall, was Gaston's favourite person on the island, after his own family, of course, that is, Alanis. The girl was playing a Sweet Tune on the Piano while some random, less talented NPCs where playing the backup strings instruments in the background. Eh, that was good enough for them, since playing an instrument for Alanis was less of a chore than doing anything else for the two pompous narcissists brothers that called themselves 'Lords of the Mansion'. She was, of course, hopping that her one true love, Lucas would show up sooner of later. For once, she hadn't kidnapped his turtle to force him to come. Maybe she was getting soft after their first real date, maybe she had poisoned Blair had was holding the remedy until Lucas showed up. Who knew~
Ah, no. she hadn't been that cruel that day. Nor was she getting (that) soft yet. She simply loved this festival so much that she wouldn't care (that much) if Lucas didn't show up. She would simply be very, very, very disappointed in him. But! At least, Blair was still alive and as well as a previously-stabbed-girl could be! Which was the reason why Yoakim had came early to help setting up the festival. Gladice didn't want to get anywhere near the Sonata's mansion, and he knew that both his wife and his sister-in-law would love to come here in order to change their minds... and that was better than getting drunk at a bar. Again. He hadn't brought neither Rune nor Wilhelm with him, mainly because they would have gotten in the way of him setting things up, but he was expecting his wife to bring them both. That would be a nice family outing, yes?

It was the art festival yet again, and Nanami was even more determined than usual! Yeah, she could try to advertise the tattoo parlor yet again, but that hadn't exactly worked out that well last year. Besides, she had more fun when she was just looking at things, and she was determined in her new year's resolution to make new friends and meet interesting people, so might as well not let it go to waste! She made her way around the festival, hoping to catch something interesting. She was still pretty early, not much for her to do at this point.
Haruka had been dragged along yet again. Even if Nanami wasn't going to promote her business, that said nothing about Haruka. The teenage girl stood awkwardly off to the side, shuffling a stack of business cards between her hands.
Mei had shown up yet again. Last year, she had come simply because she thought it was mandatory, but even though she knew that it wasn't, she was still interested. She liked playing the piano, and she rarely got a chance to appreciate the arts. Maybe she'd get a chance to play? She wouldn't push her way into it, though. She should just enjoy herself and appreciate her time away from the clinic and Mao. Unconsciously, she began wandering towards the piano music. It was pretty~
The Tamaki's had made it out of the house and to a festival for the first time this year! Sure, Shinju had managed to slip out here and there, but this was a first for Kotone, whose entire life since Winter had revolved around school and home. She was glad to be out of the house, and she practically SPRINTED to the festival. The art festival! One of her favorites! Or something. Now that she had lost the baby weight, she could now amaze everyone with her singing skills, once again! Or something. She was a girl on a mission, and she had left her sister and son behind long ago.
"For ******** sake. Kotone, don't run off like that," Shinju sighed as she finally caught up with her teenage sister. She pushed Peter in his stroller. They couldn't find a sitter in time, so they brought him too. Shinju glanced at the napping child nervously. She hoped he wouldn't get freaked out by the people or the music. This was his first time at a festival, afterall
And, of course, Natalia and Rory had come. Although they didn't look like it, they had been doing music for a long time. Or rather, their parents had thought it would be good for them to have a proper extracurricular. They had stopped in high school, but until they moved out, they still played regularly! Not that they were particularly good. Natalia, as usual, strolled well ahead of her friend, swinging her trumpet case triumphantly. She hadn't made anyone cry during any of these past festivals, so maybe she could crush everyone's spirits with her amazing trumpet skills! Actually, she HAD wanted to wow everyone with a trumpet/cello duet, but Rory's hands were free. He had claimed that his cello hadn't been delivered yet, because it was so big and heavy and cost a lot to ship, but she knew he was lying. He was probably hiding it in a secret room behind his bookshelves! Yeah, that was it!

Gaston just finished yelling at the servant for forgetting his golden, diamond studded phallic shaped replica of Florence's peewee – this was his own damned festival and here was some servant trying to ruin it by forgetting even the simplest, most necessary parts of the world! Without a p***s, who would rule and make babies.. and.. And do all that other stuff that a p***s was absolutely necessary for! He should compose a poem in honor of manhood next year, but, this time? He was more for standing there and looking like the most essential part of the festival while the servant left to a back room to sneak some of the snacks set up at one corner of the main hall and probably down a whole bottle of the 'guarded' liquor. Everyone knew that the midgets, however upsetting they were, were the friendliest of the whole mansion! They always shared the liquor with whoever needed and, yes, Gaston's servants needed it the most out of all of Nirvani.
~~~
As per routine – or would soon to become routine once again – Romane was at the festival. She had neglected her duties too often since the Paprika incident, having preferred to stay inside where it was safe and hold her guns gently for security purposes, but, lately, that had become less necessary for her. It was a mystery to her as for why she was suddenly feeling less afraid of the outside world, that her thoughts had slowed down from irrationality and back towards logic, but it was likely due to some pills Rachel had regularly began to slip into Romane's morning coffee. It had taken a few weeks for it to start to take affect, but the results were looking good! Her uniform was cleanly pressed and tucked neatly, as she wasn't afraid of touching the washing machine anymore, and, although her eyes still constantly scanned the crowd, she didn't have the bags under them anymore as sleep was much easier on her own. She didn't question how she was feeling better, but she knew she was somewhat happier with it. Somewhat.
~~~
Oh, poor Mei is all that the narrator could say when this man entered the festival. Of course Mao would come! He loved music and greatly appreciated art – if only to criticize it and watch the starving artists' self esteem plummet when yet another person didn't want to shell out the money to purchase their pieces and feed their disgruntled families. It was only sadder that the first thing he took note of was the music section, as he had last year. He almost hoped to see the cellist from then, if he wasn't aware that she had been stabbed in the gut due to her own stupidity and was likely hiding under her bed and sobbing her eyes out because of average teenaged girl issues, like why they had a p***s and all that nonsense. Luckily, as the only stroke of it the fellow Chinese woman would get, Mao hadn't spotted her or the pianist yet. Instead, he was stuck looking at some woman try to sell violins or lessons or something along those lines.
~~~
Kade had entered the festival if only to reassure himself that Ellie wasn't here! Yep. He used to come to enjoy it, but, then, every piece of art reminded him of the one artist that totally screwed him over and.. he couldn't really do much outside of stare bitterly at any oil painting since! But, this one would actually make him smile! Because Ellie always came to the Art Festival! It was, like, her favorite thing to do all year, he was pretty sure, so any Art Festival without her was, like, a big, fat, blatant way to say she wasn't here and he could stop acting like she was to bring him – … Was.. was that..? It wasn't more than a glimpse and, for a moment, he thought he was hallucinating – rather, he really wished he was hallucinating because that – that looked.. so much.. His throat tightened and, just like that, Kade had left the festival.
❥Zelynity walked in with a slight hop in her step. It was time for the art festival again! The first festival she had ever attended on Nirvani, and here she was going full circle and back here again! She was going to do more than talk to one person today, that was for sure. Hopefully. She looked around the little lobby area, there wasn't much difference with the place, only the art and the faces.
She soon spotted a girl that looked close to her age alone in the corner and decided she'd go say hi to her. She knew what it was like to be alone and awkward, and it wasn't fun. So, she walked over to Haruka and stopped a few feet from her, "Hi there. I'm Zelynity." She said with a welcoming smile and awaited a response. Maybe she'd just push her away or something, but maybe they could be friends! That'd be exciting, so far she just had Raiden and that nice green-haired fellow.
Entering the festival, she could hear the melodies of a piano playing off somewhere. It suited the scenery and festivity. Art did consist of painting, dancing, acting, music, ect. Even her own store is considered art, of clothing anyway. At least she believed so. Tatum looked around at the people in the festival to view what their own fashion sense was. No one had perked up her interest yet though. She wondered why no one had applied to be one of her fashion line models either. In the city, people would be fighting for the position to be beautiful and get discounts on clothes from her store because they were her special employees. Not this place apparently. Tatum had begun to get her doubts about the place. No, it just needs time. She continued to walk about viewing art work.---------- He wore white dress pants and a white t-shirt with royal blue designs along the back. His dark brown hair and blue eyes matched well with his outfit and his complexion. He wasn't there to show off though. He was there for a special. . friend. Being that his dearest Aniela refuses to talk to him or even look at him, he wanted someone to play with in the meantime. That was when his ear tuned in on piano music playing. Damarko looked around the festivities seeing beautiful people about but none playing the instrument. He finally found the long blonde hair that shimmered in the light from her movement along the keys of the piano. Like the creeper he was, Damarko made his way over to the area to watch her from a few feet away and admire the talent she had. I want you to toy with. . He starred at her with his bright blue eyes and smiling with as much charm as he could to try and get her attention.
A few more notes on the piano and she was done her song. She had been playing since the festival had started, and rightfully believed that she could take a break. Not that she was tired or anything like that, she just wanted to mingle some with the other islanders as well as too look at some of the various arts being shown. When she had finished her song, she got up from the little stool and gave a small bow. Not that anyone was actually listening to her play at that moment, but that was the thing to do.... oh? Actually, someone was listening to her! Ah! What a wonderful man, whoever might he be! Marriage potential! Ah, such a refined man to like her! She walked toward him, a lovely smile on her face. "Good day, mister! Are you enjoying the festival? I saw you looking at me. You enjoy the piano? Can you play?" Thought her last year on the island, she had learn to hold proper conversations! Just how she had learned that begging someone to date her was the bad way to go...
Gaston, who was overlooking his festival happily from his throne atop the stairs with Reinbech, spotted a certain blond head of hair – one that had him standing up with purpose! He said a quick good bye to his dear brother and bounded down the stairs, departing his blood for the sake of them all! For who he was heading towards was none other than Shinju Tamaki, pushing along a baby carriage and standing.. in a common peasant fashion, but it wasn't really her that he was paying attention to. No, it was baby! Inside the carriage was, as he had predicted and learned to be often the case throughout life and some kindergarten nursery rhymes, a little infant! He smiled widely and without much of a warning, scooped the blond boy out of the stroller and into his arms so he could hold him up and examine him in the air. “A little girl! Ah, this is perfect! I have a son myself of the same age as this peasant born child! How much is he?” He looked at Shinju with that, his usual arrogance written across his face when he was talking to one of his peasants. Shinju was pretty – not astounding, not ugly, but 'pretty'. Odd, he never noticed her before.. Ah, it could be the mother's glow~! They did glow, didn't they? He nodded to himself as he looked at Shinju in agreement. He could see an unmistakable glow on her! Ah, mothers!
~~~
Romane while on her patrol had spotted something most disconcerting! Indeed, she saw it right there – a woman running! Kotone Tamaki. Had she arrested her before? Romane couldn't be pressed to remember, but she knew that the woman was sprinting through the festival like a crazy person and Romane couldn't have that! It was odd to see a teenage running around like that.. She could be.. Running from something or running to something or any number of things involving running! They were all suspicious and that was why Romane had rushed over to Kotone and stopped her with a firm hand on her shoulder and a cold, serious look. “Why are you running, Ms. Tamaki?” She questioned first, slowly pronouncing each word to make sure the other could understand her. She glanced back at the direction the blond was running from to make sure no one was chasing her.

"Hm?" Haruka looked up as a girl addressed her. She was a little startled to be approached like that; people often said that she had an intimidating look about her and was hard to talk to randomly. Still, this girl looked nice, and she was actually a little touched to have someone her own age come up to talk to her! "Uhm, hello," she greeted awkwardly in response. Without thinking, she handed the girl a business card for the tattoo parlor. What a stupid thing to do! Haruka could feel her cheeks start to heat up a little bit. "Urr, I mean, I'm Haruka..." Great, now she was flustered, and she didn't know how to act.
Shinju had been zoning out slightly, trying to decide where to start. There were so many things to see, afterall, it was a little too much for an indecisive person like herself to handle. That's why, when some person hurried over and swiped Peter, she flinched noticeably in surprise. She stared at Gaston in mild shock as she watched him examine her nephew. Peter, too, held a similar expression, as he had been woken up -- quite rudely, actually -- from his nap by a complete stranger. Thankfully, he was too startled to cry. "Uhm, no, he's a boy..." Shinju finally said weakly. Explaining her nephew's gender to the town mayor was probably one of the last things she had been expecting today. But after all that had happened since moving out here, she just didn't know anymore. "And... don't you mean, how old is he?" she asked with a confused expression. She didn't understand why the word 'much' was in that sentence, and she hoped she had just misheard.
Kotone had been having a lovely time scurrying from display to display in search of someone cool she could impress. Unfortunately, it looked like attendance was down compared to last year, and she wasn't having much luck, but that couldn't touch her spirits! ...That is, until she was yanked still by a hand. Kotone looked back at the woman with a mix of surprise and annoyance. Who was this woman? How did she know her name? Kotone had never cared enough to bother remembering the names and faces of authority figures around her. "What? It's because I'm excited. Is there anything wrong with that?" she snapped. She had no idea who Romane was, and had failed to recognize her as a police officer, so in her head, she just saw her as yet another nosy adult.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Eleanor 'Ellie' Vatonage, Rune Vatonage, Blaire Vatonage, Hayden Rusacanth, & Lucas Grey - __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It seemed the Vatonage girls weren't going to miss this festival after all. They wouldn't be taking part in anything but it was a nice idea, and Yoakim would be there. Much better idea than Ellie's last outing... which still had the woman shuffling nervously around her husband every now and then. Now she looked for her husband, while keeping Willhelm in her arms, and constantly looking down to the four year old Rune that walked besides her. Unfortunately for Alanis, Blaire was well, and not poisoned... She was here though at the mansion, awkwardly moving behind her sister. This was just about the third time she left the house, even if she wanted to be here. Lucas did end up convincing her to leave, after changing her mind close to seven times. The Leblanc side left the girl with Lucas to continue their search for Yoakim, which didn't take that long since Rune did spot her step-father, running and clutching at the man's leg as she often did. "Aki!" giggled the young girl happily. Ah to be so blissful... Ellie smiled at the young girl as she came to approach him. "You found him Rune."Blaire wouldn't be playing anything today... so she'd be following Lucas around today, and the two did end up hearing a very nice melody around, which naturally drew them over there. Ah Alanis~ Lucas smiled slightly watching the girl. No he wasn't crushing on her... he was just constantly reminded she was cute, and not completely evil. Blaire would've differed, but she wasn't in the mood for it. Lately she had retracted to her old look. Specifically looking for her biggest glasses and hiding under them. Not that it really worked but who understands a stabbed girl's logic? Not Lucas, who was just there. Hayden's days had been pretty hectic lately. Especially with that little visitor... Honestly that was horrible! But no time to dabble on that right now he was to be active in the festival! His area was set up, and so were his two sculptures! The hell if he was dragging anymore over here. This festival also provided tons of inspirations, which is why he was leaning against a wall with his little pad, making the crappy sketches he loved so much for further ideas.

Gaston looked from the baby to Shinju in utter confusion. Old? They had ages?! He thought people didn't get ages until.. until later! Gaston always had a servant tell him how old he was when he was asked because, well, his birthdays were almost everyday! Every time he was bored or bought anything, it was a celebration – it never occurred to him that people would use birthdays as a means to tell age or that it even mattered. Everyone was either 'baby, child, teenager, or adult' to Gaston. Ah, and then there was Mommy's age and the old hag's age. Yes, that was how age worked!
“Of course I know how old she is! She's a baby.” He laughed at how ludicrous the woman was in the same way one would laugh at a blind dog running into a wall repeatedly – that is to say cruelly and ignorantly. He lowered the child back into the stroller without much care, but at least he didn't hurt the peasant larva. “And I believe you're mistaken. This is certainly a girl!” He said sternly with a motion to the golden locks and completely effeminate features of the child. If Gaston said someone was a damned girl, then they were a girl! No questions asked! “How much is she? I would like to rent her so she can socialize with my own son.” Michael needed to learn how to feel superior to other people already and a peasant's baby was the perfect way to start!
~~~
Romane's eyes narrowed as the girl snapped at her, her lips pursing while she turned her head back to look at the blond. Medication or not, she didn't like someone claiming their superiority in anything, aggressive tones included! Romane was in her uniform and, thus, she should be respected, not treated like an intruder. She lifted her other arm, the one not holding onto Kotone's shoulder, to indicate the badge proudly pinned to her chest, polished and shining in the mansion's lights.
“I am ma'am to you, Ms. Tamaki.” She stated flatly and firmly, making her authority come out as clear as can be in her posture and tone, “I will ask you to depart from me calmly. Running inside an enclosed location during an event is mistakable as panic rather than excitement and it would be beneficial if such behaviors were ceased until you are outside.” She went on to explain as quick and curt as she could be, but Cid and Neil had influenced her enough to make her explanations draw out a tad longer than she used to do. She let go of the girl and waited for her to leave as she had instructed, her eyes on the girl to make sure she knew she was being watched.
~~~
Mao had wandered through the festival long enough to come across one individual that was interesting for him. Alright, not that interesting, but it was something better than what the few others at the festival had for him. Yoakim LeBlanc – wasn't he the brother of that vegetable building up dust in his room? He started to head for him when he noticed that the man's wife had approached with a pair of brats.. Ah, lovely. This would be the part where Mao decided to leave and let the family have their average outing in peace, maybe call the man later and tell him what he wanted to say.. ...Buut, this was Mao. He didn't care at all that he was interrupting some sweet moment.
“Excuse me.” Mao said in a way that showed he really didn't care if he was excused or not, but that was often the case with the expression nowadays for most. “You're the one with the vegetable, yes? I hate to put a damper on an apparently 'enjoyable' family outing,” He rolled his eyes, “but I don't have a number to bother you with or an address,” Well, he probably did, he just didn't feel like getting it from Mei because, one, he didn't feel like it and, two, he couldn't find the woman half of the time. “so, I'm going to ask how long do you plan on keeping LeBlanc in my clinic? We don't have enough rooms as it is and I'm sure my secretary is becoming annoyed with having to vacuum the cat hair and cobwebs off of him.” ..It was hard to tell if he was joking there or not with the lack of change in his expression.

She had wandered around for a few minutes now, not interested in anything yet. What kind of art festival was this?! Bullshit pieces. . Well, with the exception of a few. Oh hey, what is that? She had spotted a male leaning against a wall and sketching away at something but what she was interested in, were the sculptures. Hmm. . The woman with sunglasses approached and as she stopped in front of them, she did that head tilt that observers do in museums to try and ponder what the image means.---------- Damarko watched as she finished the song and gave a bow to the audience, himself, and passerby's. He gave her a quick applaud with his large masculine hands. When noticed that he was the only one sticking around, which was better than him having to chase her down to talk to her or get her alone. He was turned off by being called mister. It was like she were a child. Was she? Not like it mattered. . She had a lot of questions too. He assumed it was just to get a conversation rolling.
"Buon giorno, bella signora. I am enjoying the celebration of the arts. Never expected such a small island to appreciate something so. . beautiful," he spoke and eyed her up and down at the word 'beautiful'. "I couldn't help but to notice your talent. I was drawn to your music the moment I arrived. I do love the piano, but I do not play. I want to watch you play rather than myself, bella signora." He paused. "Mi scuso. My name is Damarko," he bowed low and gently took her hand to place a kiss on the top and returned to his position, releasing it. "May I know your name?"
