If the sharks don't want a hug, ritualistically cut down the length of your arm. This shows that you want to become their blood brother, and they may accept you into their pod much quicker.

says you, it was awesome on my end, the Japanese and dolphins brought booze and cake, we had a party and then we went out clubbing afterwards and everyone was all like "who brought the dolphins?" and I was all "I did!" then we all went to Vancouver for sushi but the police caught us and broke the party up. it was an awesome time but we totally forgot about the mutiny...
