Tenshi went in low and fast toward the deer. Scaring the crap out of it. It let out a cry as she snapped her teeth at its legs. It ran to far forward so Tenshi decided she should cut in front of it and steer it back.

Runaiu watched Tenshi, gritting her teeth as she realized this may be to much. Here she was, teaching Tenshi things as if she was Mercury. She wasn't Tenshi's mother! Then again, she didn't feel like her mother... She... had different feelings. Strange ones. Ones she wanted to pretend she didn't have. And as she watched Tenshi chase after the deer she was distracted, distracted by the realization. Everyone made her feel self conscience, even her son did at times. But Tenshi... She just felt natural around. She didn't feel so ugly and awkward.
If anyone took Tenshi from her she'd...break. She didn't want to loose her. She didn't want to watch Tenshi be with someone else. This was selfish, wasn't it? She wanted to keep her. Wanted to make her stay with her.
Though, she didn't know what to do anymore.

Tenshi was to focused on the deer to notice that Runaiu really wasn't moving like she should have been so they could catch this deer. Tenshi snapped her teeth at its leg nicking it make the deer freak out. The taste of blood was exciting. Normally Tenshi never got to do this and here she was going after a deer. She jumped its on to its back biting its neck.

Thats when she smelled blood.
Her eyes flashed, darting forward and attacking the beast. Has Tenshi been hurt? Was she bleeding? She knocked the beast down onto the ground, snarling as she ripped a chunk from its side. The beast cried out, trying to get away, but she was to far gone. The smell of blood had set her off, the only thought in her head was the image of Tenshi being hurt. She hadn't thought it could be the deers blood.
Swiftly, she ripped its throat, snarling when the creature bucked one last time and collapsed. Her tail lashed back and forth, ears pinned backwards.

Tenshi blinked in shock. She was awed but was also shocked. She slowly released the deer and sat there watching Runaiu. She would have never thought, guessed that Runaiu could do that but there she had. She totally owned the deer. She wasn't sure what to think about it.

Runaiu spotted Tenshi looking, slowly coming out of her state. She scanned the female, sighing softly as her ears lowered and so did her shoulders. "I thought it hurt you." She mused, pawing at the dead deer before eyeing Tenshi, watching her stare. Was she judging Runaiu? Was she scared? The female moved away from the deer, hiding the fear she felt that Tenshi might hate her by slipping on a blank and calm face.
"I didn't kill this for it to be decoration. Go eat."

Tenshi watched for a little while longer before saying "Wow" it was all she could think of at first. "How did you do that? You just totally owned it when normally it takes a couple of people to take it down." She asked sitting down pretty much ignoring the deer but still watching Runaiu.

Runaiu flicked her tail, looking away slightly. "I was worried..." She grumbled, crossing her paws. "I smelled blood and thought you were hurt...so I...snapped." She said before looking down at the ground, then the deer. Tenshi didn't seem scared of her, more like she was in awe. How...strange.

"Thats still cool and no I didn't get hurt. I think I hurt it."Tenshi said with a pondering look on her face before she bent down to take a bit. "Your going to eat this to right?" she asked making sure Runaiu got some to.

She shrugged, glancing at the deer and shaking her head. "You eat first, I'm still a little shaken." She said before sitting beside the kill, ripping a chunk off and staring at it, forcing a bite knowing Tenshi would not eat unless she did. She watched Tenshi, frowning slightly.
"Tenshi, what do you think of same gender mateships?"

Tenshi smiled a little when Runaiu finally took a bit. She her-self than took a bit. She was enjoying it when Runaiu asked her question. She paused to think it over, slightly loosing herself in thought.
Same gender mateships hmm? Really she didn't see anything wrong with it. "I dont know. I dont think that there is really anything wrong with it really. Why? she asked.

She shrugged, tail flipping back and forth. "My brother has children with another male." She said, eyeing the other. "Actually, I met a female I've been thinking of asking to be my mate." She added, lowering her head on her paws. "I wondered if you would judge me if my mate was female."

Tenshi ear's pearked up at the mention of her brother "Really he does?" She asked in shock. She had heard about foxes doing that but never knew any that knew someone who did or at least to her knowledge.
"They must be very special to you if your thinking about asking them"Tenshi pointed out before going quite to listen to the rest. "Why would I judge you? It is your life. Do what makes you happy and forget what others say. If they dont like it tough its not their life they dont have to live with it you do so do what it is that makes you happy."

Her eyes lowered, nodding quietly. "Perhaps." She said before thinking. She knew Yuki got a lot of crap from people, but he never cared as long as he had Ixen and his kids. Runaiu eyed the female, standing quietly.
"What if this vixen was you?"

" It...its me?"Tenshi asked shocked. "Really? I'm amazed. I thought you had found someone else and was just asking me for advice" She sat down because her legs were wobbly.
