Lucien nuzzled his hand into the top of her head before pulling it back and making a quick glance around the store before looking back down at her. He was glad to hear she was feeling better. Pats sure did make everything better! He couldn't have his tour with a sore brain, that just didn't seem very appealing to the whole process.
He then look a look at a shelf, standing a little too close to it just as he had been at the other store. He was looking at the merchandise that came with the game. He didn't really understand a lot of it, he just knew it was all some sort of game. It sounded interesting, but mostly because he did not understand it very well.
He turned away from the shelf and looked at her, "As long as you enjoy it."

"It looks like fun." Amrita nodded, slightly disappointed that headpat time was over. But, then again, it would be impossible for him to do that to her forever. So sad. She could take his brain breaking ways for the headpats that were sure to follow. They really, really did make everything better.
"M-Maybe when that club starts...you could come to one and see if you like it...?" She offered, part hoping that he would. After all, she failed at explaining it! A reversed hand lifted to tuck some loose hair behind her ear, and she started to shuffle towards the store front. "Umm, I think we're done in here~" The girl said a little belatedly; in fact, she was practically already in the hallway again. "Most of the stores in here are clothing stores and stuff..." She hummed, her gray eye focused on something far to her right.
"I...I don't know what else to show you." That and she couldn't think very well.

Lucien gracefully slide by all the shelves as he followed Amrita around the store and nearly outside. Turning to look over his shoulder when they reached the store front, he hadn't knocked anything off any shelves. He was almost disappointed he couldn't say he made a mess in another store. Chaos was fun, after all. Seeing the expressions of those who find the mess he's made and freak out. Oh, those were good. If only he could realize the mess he was making with this ghoul here, he kept knocking her over and causing a mess.
Reality, Lucien nodded to Amrita about the club. Maybe he'd take a look. Given he could remember to go take a look when it did start. He imagined playing it for real would be more fun than a game, but that also wasn't possible at this time and place. It was a shame, really.
"Maybe," he said. "I'll try to remember."
He was kind of disappointed, did this mean their adventure was over? She didn't know what else to show him? Slowly, Lucien's grin twisted and he smirked widely. Thinking the adventure was over he thought about going back to the dorms and then it hit him... she said she didn't know how to get back to the dorms, right? He could take her on an adventure!
"I can escort you back to the dorms," he suggested deviously.
He'd get his adventure yet.

Lucien didn't need to make chaos in the store; he was doing just fine messing with the Vetala's head. There was PLENTY of chaos going on in there, hidden by a skull, some hair, and questionable amounts of flesh.
Still, she seemed pleased by his attempt to remember. She knew how it was, always forgetting things. But she had to wonder why. He seemed to be completely intact! That was a question for another day, when she had enough brain power to notice. His suggestion brought her gaze to focus on him, her expression brightening. Home! She could go home! And sleep, and not have to think so much! Home!
"Yes please!" Rita said enthusiastically, noticing only to late the twisted grin and the devious tone. Bright expression dropping once more to hesitant confusion. Why did she have such a bad feeling about this?
"...W-What...?"

Lucien would take her home, like a gentleman. However, not like a gentleman it wouldn't be in the timeliest manner. But first, but first he had to find the way out of the maul. This was an unknown world to him and he had to think. He went through his mind trying to remember their steps: before this was the goggle place. And before that? The pet store? That's where they met, right? Ah ha, he had just come in at that point. He knew where the exit was!
"Let's go home," he said, floating towards the exit of the maul. He made sure to stay beside Amrita so that she would not be left behind with her shuffling. It wouldn't be very good if he lost his adventure so early in the game. Not good at all, plus, then how would she get home? She'd be wandering around until she got back to the maul, still not sure where to go!
He got to the end of the maul and to the doors, more than relieved to see the air flowing around outside. He could almost feel it.
"How are your feet?" He asked, looking back to Amrita, considering their options.

Hooooome.
That made the feeling of impending doom go away. Home, they were going hooome! A pleased - or at least content - look finally took over her features. There were magic words and magic gestures, and he was doing a pretty good job of keeping her happy despite everything. It was that rollercoaster all over again.
"My feet?" Amrita murmured, parroting him curiously. As she followed after him she looked down and stared at her heels, then twisted her shoulder a bit to look back at her toes. There was a bit of an even wobble, but on the whole she managed to stay standing. "They're...there?" They didn't really hurt yet, and if they did she just didn't notice. "Why?"

Lucien was going to ask her more specifically if her feet hurt, and not if they were just there but he thought it was amusing she would answer that way. Besides, if she had replied in such a manner then they couldn't possibly be bothering her so instead of speaking Lucien just nodded to her.
"Just wondering," he said.
He opened the door of the maul and walked out, holding the door open for the other creature to come out. He took a look around and pondered. So many ways they could go. They could take the shortest route, but that didn't seem like it would be very fun? He'd make sure they followed the paths for two reasons:
If they just cut through everything they would get there very quickly;
The terrain wouldn't be very good for her feet;
"This way," he said, walking up a path, looking behind to make sure she was coming.

"Oh. Okay." Nodding and honestly thinking that nothing was wrong, she slipped through the door that he held open for her. "Thank you." She murmured, fiddling with the bag in her hands. Because she couldn't remember the way, she lingered nearby until he chose the path they would be going on, and when he did she shuffled after him, trying her best to keep up.
While she wanted to look around to see where they were going, she had to look down at her feet on occasion, to make sure she didn't trip or stub her heel on anything. That would be bad! Very bad.
"So...Um...Do you have pets?" This conversation brought to them by: The Pet food bag she was holding! It was the only thing she could think to say.

Lucien looked back at Amrita and then slowed down until he was floating beside her. He found himself slowly tilting up his head until he looked up to the sky as he thought about her question. It seemed like an odd question to ask until he looked back down and noticed she had that bag from the pet store still. Pet food? He nodded. He did have a few pets. For the most part it was a recent development since not too many things could keep him company up where he was.
"Yes," he said. "I have a rare winged Floresce and a special prism Kirinni back in my dorm room."
He took this moment to quit looking at her bag and look at her face.
"What about you? I know you have pets, but what sort of pets do you have?"

"Oooh wow!" Rita said in awe, staring up at him "That's cool!" She was smiling again - apparently in her little world everything was back to normal - and she hugged the bag to her holed out chest. "I have three!" She chirped, the happiest she'd sounded in a rather long time.
"Demon Cat, Mini Golem and Doomfish...but Demon Cat and Mini Golem get into fights a lot and it's hard to focus." Which meant, sadly, that she might replace them with quieter ones. She liked the company, but not the distractions they caused. "And I think Demon Cat got my Stapler on it's side, they were trying to pin Golem to the wall the other day." Rita prattled on happily; aside from books and trees, she really did like her pets.

"You have more than me," he stated bluntly, listening intently about what pets she had and what they did. Did they really try and staple the golem to the wall? That didn't sound very friendly, very entertaining, but not friendly. Comparatively, his pets were much more calm, and more mature than hers. He found himself laughing, forgetting all about his planned adventure in lieu to hear about her pet adventures.
"Really?" He asked. "That sounds amusing! Maybe the demon cat just likes the golem and wants to play with it!"

"Yes." Amrita giggled; she couldn't help it! He was laughing, and that was enough to make her laugh too. When she wasn't trying to study they were amusing to watch, but she liked Doomfish better...he was just hypnotic, swimming around in his little tank. "But I don't think Golem likes it much." She mused with a giggle, pressing the side of her index finger against her mouth to try and quiet herself.
"And then there was the---" Amrita cut herself off with a surprised cry, her heel hitting uneven ground at just the right angle to make her stumble and trip forward. In her flailing attempts to not hit the ground she reached out and grabbed into the first thing she could; Lucien's arm.

Lucien nodded, it was nice to watch a creature just glide peacefully around either in water or air, especially when creatures were able to move gracefully in said environment. It made Lucien wonder if maybe he was hypnotic in the way he moved in the air and just as he was about to open his mouth to ask that very question when Amrita tripped and stumbled forward and grabbing onto his arm and causing his question to come out as an awkward noise. The surprise of her grabbing his arm caused him to lean too far to the side she was on, and while being unable to catch himself his weight brought him down with her under him.
He found himself staring and then after a moment realizing.
"Oh," was all he could say as he gathered his thoughts. He moved his weight off of the smaller creature, but he didn't think to get off her as he gave her a very serious look. Very serious business this was.
He opened his mouth and finally spoke more than one syllable... he spoke four: "Are you okay?"

Amrita wasn't...quite sure how she ended up like this. She had tripped, she remembered that; she also remembered squeaking in surprise...but now she was on her back on the ground with an unfamiliar weight on her, staring up at Lucien. What remained of her lips pressed together in a tight line, her eye wide in that doe-in-the-headlights way; whaaaat happened?! Why were they - Why was he - Ohgod! She couldn't piece it together, but she did vaguely recognize that her reversed hand was still tightly grasping his arm; that grip never subsided, at least not yet.
"Umm..." She murmured a bit just after his weight lifted a bit and he uttered that single syllable, a dark blush rising on her fleshy cheek, moving to turn her head the slightest bit to the right, her gray eye focusing on something in the distance. That serious stare of his was unnerving, especially since he was so close...
"Y-yes." The little Vetala said in a tiny voice. "A-are you...um, okay?" She asked in the same, tiny voice. They wouldn't be like this if it weren't for her! "I'm s-sorry!"

Lucien made a small sigh of relief when she expressed she was okay. He couldn't imagine having to explain to the headmaster that he had... crushed... a girl. Not just a girl, but a girl with backwards legs and reversed hands! He'd be kicked out of school! How would he live it down? He shook the thoughts out of his head and focused.
He nodded. Then he nodded again. He checked his limbs... they were all attached. "I am okay," he explained.
He found himself wiggling around and as he went to try and stand up he found himself unable to. He was not sure why, but there was a weight holding him down? It was weird, and Lucien wasn't sure why. He looked around but there didn't seem to be anything on his back shoving him down! This left him in the position he was in over Amrita.
