Billy knelt down for his first try. He really wasn't bargaining on getting anything. If he did? Well, all the better. Billy placed the paper net in the murky water, holding the net as if something might pop out of the water and bite him.

Billy's first try came up with a green,....very....toothy goldfish. Well, that was alright with him. Unique. "Pumpkin tank for this one."
Would he be so lucky with try number two? After seeing the teeth on the first one, he was even more cautious. His hand were precious and it would not do at all to get bitten.

Billy came up with nothing this time, but the paper net was chewed all to hell. His rose colored eye stared at it for a moment before picking up another for his third and final try. These so called 'gold fish' were a little more than 'unique'. They were downright odd.

Billy obtained another simple green fish. For this one he would designate it go in "The Bat tank for this one." The bat tank.
Billy stood and collected his spoils. Two little green, toothy, fish. Two out of three wasn't bad.

Istas' eyes widened at glowing three eyed goldfish. She blinked. "It glowss..." She said in awe. "Can I have the Bat Tank for him please?"
She looked at the other two paper nets and like everyone else she took another try. She wondered if she could catch another fishy.

Well nothing on that try. She still had one more fish than she had previously. She decided to try just once more. Maybe it'd be another interesting fish.

Istas blinked, it was another glowing gold fish. She blinked curiously before grinning, "Can I have a pumpkin tank for this one?"
((One glowing in a pumpkin tank and one glowing in a bat tank.))

Whoever had let Demy have free run of a Carnival was either a genius, or just plain crazy. Though thankfully for the moment he had eaten his full of the various fairground treats, he could still run around and be a general hyperactive menace.
Fish. Fish were something Demetri Wright just couldn't pass up. Back home he already had pretty sweet fish that glowed in teh damn dark, but hey! Maybe they'd like some friends! It couldn't hurt to try, right?
Scooping up net one of three, Demy leaned over and scooped the net into the murky waters.

And win a fish he did! Grinning ear to ear, Demy held up his prize and happily announced "pumpkin tank for this, please!". That way he'd always remember just where he had gotten his awesome new fish.
But he still had two tries, so once the first fish was taken care of by the attendant he nabbed the second scoop and tried again.

"And a bat tank for this one!" Ha, this was pretty awesome. Two fish! And one more try to go! Third scoop in hand, Demy dipped into the waters one more time.
Two out of three was pretty good, right? Zee should be pleased!

Serah had been walking by, arms filled with candies and carnival goodies when she spotted the fishing booth. That was a boot she definitely couldn't pass up-- it was almost as good as unicorns. In a not-so-neat-manner, she shoved all of her pacakaged goodies into her seemingly-small-but-fits-everything bag and ate the rest of the open snacks.
"Those fish.. look a litte.. uh.. stranger than your average goldfish." Serah looked down at the tank, one eyebrow raised. Were these goldfish? ... Well, the sign said so it must have been. (She was in doubt.) Uh. Well. It was worth it to give it a shot! GOLDFISH ARE AWESOME NO MATTER WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE.

After a few frustrating moments of customers waiting behind Serah's elaborate show of "the net is a cool airplane, watch it fly through the water AND IT WILL NOMNOM THE FISHY," Serah finally scooped a fish through the thin hand-held net, brown eyes cautiously peering over what she caught in her net.
.. NOTHING ): AIRPLANE NETS DONT WORK.
Surprise #1!

Some fish didn't appreciate Serah's net going zoom all over the fish tanks so by the time the first net came out of the water, it was mangled beyond repair. They wouldn't appreciate the second net coming in either.
.. Here it came!
The unfortunate victim seems to prefer the bat tank. It didn't really like it's new owner though ):

WOULD THERE BE AN UNFORTUNATE SECOND VICTIM. HM. The final conclusion to this chapter was coming as Serah took a different tactic, popping the third net in swiftly and quickly like a shark, zooming in on it's prey with one fatal bite! NOMNOMNOM.
AND YES THERE IS A SECOND UNFORTUNATE that would cry together with it's first! Serah chose the pumpkin tank because she thinks it might look happier in a brighter place but this only made it madder. :<
