If a senshi pinned or sewed a badge to their fuku, would it be there the next time they powered up?

Natsube: Powering up and down makes the fuku go back to it's original appearance, unless you have received a new power up, power item, etc. If Astraea came up and gave you a badge from the moon, it would probably stay on the uniform! But unfortunately, the magic can't differentiate from "sewing" and "torn" so it would not appear again.

I suggest a simple pin that you put on for patrolling could work the same way? Just pin it on when you can.

With the new schools popping up, is it possible for upcoming or current students to transfer into them? (i.e, I had never decided a school for my template character, could I request his school to be Azure Valley? C:~) or is there going to be some other way?

Natsube: Upcoming students (like template wins/incomplete civilian wins, etc) can be moved to the new schools with zero problem. If you don't have the art, but do have the slot waiting for you, this is totally ok!

As for transfers, when we have them, you will know about them!

1a. Regarding submissions for the semi-custom character contest-- if we intend to enter for a powered character concept with a nonpowered character already in play at the shop, do we still need to fill out the base civillian form? Is it possible to just submit the Addendum? AND/OR :

1b. Would it just be simpler to edit the base civillian form of the already existing character with updated information, and hope for the best? XD

Nessy: For conformity's sake, please use the form or copy what you have straight from your journal. It makes things a whole lot easier for us, and that way we can't somehow accidentally overlook your post because of odd formatting.

2. Is it possible for a Corrupted Senshi to choose to serve Serenity and the Moon Kingdom, or are they, due to their nature, unfailingly devoted to the Negaverse?

Mouse: Choosing to serve someone other than Beryl would be choosing to leave the Negaverse, and it's not exactly easy to leave by choice regardless of whether you're a senshi or a normal officer. I wouldn't discount the possibility, but it would definitely be VERY DIFFICULT -- both as a conclusion to come to and one to act on. If someone wanted to go that direction with their character, they can talk to one of us in order to work out the details. ^^

The parallels do not have senshiphones. Is it still possible for them to travel to space? Maybe through a mirror, since that is how they contact each other...? AND. Where would they end up? I mean, would Ares go to Mars, or would she go to parallel!Mars? I know that the existing parallels are going with the "we cannot contact anyone from the old world and we do not think we can ever go back" so I don't know if they could travel to parallel space.

SO. BASICALLY.

Can parallels surf the space waves, or no?

Mouse: Parallels cannot travel back to the Parallel universe, nor can they travel through space the way senshi of this universe can.

HOWEVER, they can mirror-walk to distant stars, granted 1- there's a mirror available that's big enough for them to walk through, 2- they know it's there and 3- they're willing to exert the large amount of energy it takes to do so.

Assuming we dont go overboard with past stuff, are we limited in anyway in terms of asteroids/comets/planets etc? For example, Euterpe is originally an asteroid's name. Does that prevent having the asteroid from having their own kingdom or non-canon royalty since it's not a planet?

Mouse: NOPE. That would be kind of unfair to people who chose the "wrong" celestial object, so to speak! <3

Also, can we briefly refer to canon characters-- For example, euterpe is located between Mars and Jupiter. I understand if he may or may not have seen or met these princesses personally (may infringe on canon too much!) but could the kingdom itself have affiliation with canon characters, like meetings between allies or enemies previously? The kingdom of mars or jupiter may have regarded the asteroid as allies or something in a very general sense?

Mouse: That's perfectly fine! Since -- as you said -- you're between Mars and Jupiter, it's plausible to have had ties of some kind with them both.

How much time passes on Earth while you're off in space? Is the exchange 1:1, as in if you spend 60 minutes on your space object 60 minutes pass on earth, or does time run faster on one end?

Mouse: It's 1:1.

DOUBLEPOST LIKE A BAWSS:

Who came first, Nova/Nerissa or the Zodiacs?

Natsube: Nova was definitely first; she was 13 when first powered, and is now 18-- so prior to any awakening's in DC. Nerissa was next, though it was only a year and a half ago. As to when the Zodiac's were actually alive-- similar to Nerissa, I do think? Nova's an oddity-- it'll be explained if I haven't done so yet.

Building on RA's question about asteroids in proximity of planets, what about moons of planets? How much interaction would moons of Jupiter have with Jupiter royalty, Saturn moons/Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, etc?

Mouse: As much as you think is appropriate? E.g. we don't want to force people to have their moons subservient to the planet they orbit, or vice versa (think of the Earth and the Moon!) So, you can have some level of interaction if you want it, or your moon could not have acknowledged the planet at all.

IN SPACE, would cats be humanform? Could they stay in humanform longer?

Nessy: I love your face. Cats can choose whatever form they'd like in space! They have to stay in cat form on Earth to avoid capture and corruption, they're safe in space.

If a senshi uses his or her energy to travel to space, would it be possible for s/he to go back to space if another senshi took them? Not to their castle, obviously, but to the other person's planet/asteroid/etc. Or are senshi incapable of traveling more than once -- PERIOD -- in their down time between visits?

Nessy: You may travel as often as you can get someone to take you! For instance, Taranis could easily go to the Moon if Chibimoon takes him. Then when he was done there, he could hop to Albali with her almost immediately!

A note though - You can only get memories of your own past life on your own planet. Albali would see a bunch of memories for her own past life, but you would gain nothing from it.

How long do cats have to wait before traveling to space again? Also, can they travel there on their own or do they need a senshi to take them?

Nessy: Cats cannot teleport on their own off-planet just yet. The technology is theirs, but they can't really hear what everyone else can. Because they are therefore guests, they can go to space as often as they can find a senshi planet to go to and the senshi to take them there.

What happens ICly if a senshi tries to travel more often than their recharge period? Does it just not work?

Nessy: They pass out from trying. It takes a great deal of energy to make the leap, and if you haven't got the energy, it's actually rather dangerous!

Is it possible to bring items to space, and if so, to leave them there? Could you leave, say, a discman, and come back with it still there (and still working)?

Mouse: You can take items with you, but they can't be very big -- anything you can't hold in one arm is too much to transport.

Aside from the limit to how often one can travel to space, are there limits to how much time one can spend on a given trip? Could a senshi spend, say, a week in space, if they were prepared for the earthly consequences? Or would this also use up too much energy/vary with rank?

Mouse: Being on your homeworld expends as much energy as being on Earth does, ignoring possible environmental extremes. So you can probably stay a while if you bring along a meal and some water.

(I also have a long list of really specific questions that I'd feel silly asking here, so I'd love to ask a staffer if I could! ^^; )

Mouse: PM the mule and we'll get on it. :>

Thank you! <3

QUESTION TIME!

What are the limits, if there are any, that the senshi worlds could/can look like?

For example, could Sailor Stay Puff Senshi of Marshmallows' world be made completely of Marshmellows if they wanted? Provided that the temperature wouldn't make the world melt or overly freeze? Could someone's senshi world look somewhat akin to Candyland?

I'd just like to know what's "possible" before I start making something that ends up being "too weird".

Mouse: I'm gonna say that no matter what a senshi homeworld looks like, it's got to have a somewhat natural-looking foundation: in other words, it shouldn't be made of a substance that's man-made on Earth. Pyxis' Rainbow Road-esque city is a great example of how "out there" you can get, if you assume the roads connecting all its cloud-clusters were brought about by technology or magic of some kind.

So while you COULD have a kingdom that looks like Candyland, chances are the buildings aren't made of actual candy and that's just how their architecture turned out. ^^

How far can technology on planets go? Understandably, it's not going to be Tron's world but if the limit is Mauvian technology, how high tech is that?

If I was planning a environment working around runes & magical stuff, would that be possible? For example, a castle that operated on runes (but is no longer possibly, obviously,) or can it strictly only be regular stuff (modern day workings, like bridges, ropes, stone/wooden structures etc)?

Mouse: We're working out some guidelines for this since it's something a lot of people have been asking about! It should be up in Deep Space shortly.
