Justin was unsure what to do next. this kind of situation was entirely new to him. the closeness was welcome, but he also found it awkward.

Elizabeth stopped when she was close enough, feeling awkward herself. She pulled back, blushing as she looked at the wall. "I'm sorry..." She said softly, moving some black bangs from her eyes. The sound of someone coming made her look up and she hissed, "Damn!" She gently put his head back on the ground and took the cup, hiding in a shadowed part of the cell just as her step-father came in to view.

Justin sighed and closed his eyes, more confused than ever.

The male came over to the cell, glaring at Justin, "Damn dragon." he growled, crouching down, "Tell me where the crystal is." he demanded.

Justin stayed silent. he wouldn't tell Elizabeth, and he would NEVER tell this man.

The man growled again, "You'd better tell me dragon or I'll kill you." He snapped. Elizabeth flinched, curling in to a ball to stay out of sight. She knew had bad his temper could be and she hoped Justin would be alright.

Justin glared at the man. "the day I sell out my family is the day hell freezes over. I'll NEVER tell you!" he snarled.

The man snarled, his eyes flashing red. He picked up a ninetails, a deathly instrument that could tear flesh from bone and went in to the cell, "I'll teach you some respect!" He said, raising the devise. Elizabeth's eyes widened ,"No!" She said, lunging forward and latching on to his arm. "What?!" The male said, seeing Elizabeth. He growled, throwing her off his arm. She hit the back wall, sliding down until she sat on the floor.

Justin saw Elizabeth hurt, and he was pissed, so he spit a small fire in the man's face to distract him from her. he then managed to get up, and try to escape, but then fell soon after.

"Argh!" The man yelled, stumbled back and trying to get the fire out of is eyes. Elizabeth tripped him and she went quickly to Justin. She took his arm and put it around her shoulder, getting him to his feet. She got him out of the cell and closed the door, locking it just as the man lunged, snarling. Elizabeth got Justin out of the room and stumbled down the hall with him, trying to get him away.

Justin was still exhausted, but he used his remaining strength to help get away. he was breathing heavily, though.

Elizabeth used some secret passages she knew of and soon, they were in her room. She gently lay Justin on her bed and got on next to him, kneeling at the dragon's side. She bit her lip, knowing what she had to do to heal him, "We have to get you healed so you can get away...so you need to drink my blood." She said.

Justin was reluctant at first, then nodded. "alright." he said. however, he couldn't really get up and do so, due to his wounds.

Elizabeth moved so she was near Justin's head and propped it up on her lap. She bit her wrist, drawing blood before putting it to Justin's mouth and letting him drink.

Justin drank the blood, but it tasted bitter to him. he then looked back up at Elizabeth. "why? why would you go this far for me, when I'm supposed to be your enemy?" he asked her. he needed to know, or he would die of confusion.
