"Everything will be alright girls, don't worry" she said as she walked overto her other daughters and kissed them each on the cheek "can I just ask, for tonight, now to argue or fight or do anything even remotely that might upset your grandfather? I will tell the other girls as well as Tira but it is just vital tonight doesn't have anything go wrong" she said as she took a deep breath and let it out.

Tira walked in a few minutes later, having smelt the roast chicken a mile off "hi mom" he said as she walked over and kissed her cheek and then kissed each of his sisters cheeks "and hello to you to my dear sisters" he said as he walked over to the table and sat down to wait.

Lemonade smiled at Tira "hi Tira, its nice to see you" Lemonade said as she gestured towards the table "girls, please, take a seat "she said as she gestured towards the table and saw Blue and Sierra walk in..

"Hi all" Blue said as she sat down at the table, walking past her brother and kissed his cheek "hi bro" she said as she sat down next to him

"Hi Tira" Sierra said as she walked over to Tira and kissed his temple and sat down on the other side of the table.

"Good you lot are here, no fighting tonight, I don't care what little petty argument you lot have going, it can wait till after your grandparents have gone home" she said as she saw Red and Maria walk in "great you two are here, take your seats" she said as she looked around for her mate "Darmani! Get your butt down here now please!" She called, poking her head out the dinning room, knowing it was rude but hey, she had an upset father comming along and she didn't want anything to go wrong.

*Insert knock at door*

"Thank you, sweetheart" she said smiling at the others " if you will excuse me" she said as she let everyone get comfy and went to answer the door.

"Oh for goodness sakes, just open it, we are family" Winter said as he just opened the door "hi sis" he said as he beamed at her.

Lemonade sighed "Winter, didn't mom and daddy ever tell you it is rude to judge barge into others homes?" She teased as she reached them and kissed them each on the cheek "please, this way" she said gesturing towards the dinning room.

"Other peoples homes, yes, they did, never said anything about family" he said teasing his sister as he started off towards the dinning room.

Lemonade sighed "no wonder you don't like him" she teased, making sure he heard it.

"I heard that!" Winter called back "I think its you they don'tlike, need I remind you of what you did as a foal and their living room rug?" He said as he entered the dinning room "hi guys" he said as he walked around and sat next to Rocky.

Lemonade sighed, that was one story she was never going to live down "thank you both for coming" Lemonade said hoping her father had calmed down.

Jack just grunted, he wasn't in the mood for this, he should not even be here, he had to fix up all the mess that damn assistant of his made, almost about to tip boiling hot coffee on his mate and end up breaking her foot as well, he just wanted this day to be over with, not sit here at his daughters house for the next couple of hours playing nice.

"Darling, please, be nice" Frostbite said to her mate as she nuzzled him, hoping this would end up going well.

Jack entered the dining room and took his seat, kissing each of his grandchildren on the head as he passed "hi darlings" he said smiling half heartedly at them as he sat down.

Alright so he was still in a bad mood, this wasn't what Lemonade wanted "take your seat mom" Lemonade said as she let her mother enter first to sit down next to her father before sitting down next to mate "please, you may begin" she said letting them help themselves to whatever they wanted and whispered to Darmani "you know how we never told the girls how we met? Or at least what ages we met? At least I don't think we did, anyway, if we didn't we are probably going to hear about it tonight" she said with a sigh, dreading the entire evening.

"Best you do and in advance, I apologize for whatever happens tonight, just remember I am not like my father but also remember he can be a tad physical when hes in a bad mood" she said remembering back when she was greatly injured by him "I highly doubt that will happen but, like you said, just be careful and expect the worst and hope it doesn't happen" she said as she nuzzled him "guess we better start getting our dinner" she said as she reached over and grabbed the bowl of mixed veggies and spooned some onto her plate and then offered it to her mate.

Frostbite and Jack quietly got what they wanted and sat back waiting for the others, being that it was polite to not eat till the others were.

"So, am I to suspect this food to be poisoned?" He asked playfully as he looked at Red who had gotten what he had wanted, the same with Maria who was now sitting there sipping her wine.

"Are you saying I have put arsnic or something into my food?" Red asked, looking at the fairy.

"Well, if you want to give said poison a name, then sure, why not?" He asked.

Red gleared at the fairy and quickly aimed a transformation spell at him which, at the same time, Winter created a wall of snow around him in an instant to block it.

"To slow old man, might need practice" he said grinning at Red.

Red grinned at the fairy "someones been talking to their father again"

Winter nodded and dropped the wall of snow "yeah, he is great for old stories" he said as he looked at his father and then back at Red.

"Well, it seems some things will never stay privet" he said looking at Jack "hope you haven't been letting every story we created spill, Jack, some things just should never be told."

"I haven't, the only one who knows everything is Frostbite and you, other then that I am never telling another soul" he semi grunted to show that he could play nice even if he didn't want to be here.

Lemonade sat down with the rest of her meal and sighed "can we stop with the snow storms in here please?" She asked gesturing towards the pile of snow on the floor.

"Sorry, Lemonade. Here, let me take care of that" Red said as he pointed a hoof at the snow, silently said a spell and it was now gone "there, all better" he said smiling at Lemonade.

"Thank you" Lemonade said as she looked at the kids "Tira, are you alright?" She asked, watching Tira not even moving to get something to eat besides some chicken Red had cut up earlier so that it was just easy to get when you wanted it.

Tira nodded "yeah, just thought I would wait till everyone got theirs, easier then grabbing at things that way" he said smiling at his mother, if anything, he was too busy wondering about his friend who he saw once and then never saw again thanks to her guardian but cared to just keep that to himself for tonight.


"Just as long as you are alright" she said to Tira, not wanting her son to be sick.

Blue and Sierra settled down with their plates, finally getting what they wanted and each taking a sip from their glasses, both filled with a nice sparkling red wine.

"Please, excuse me" she said as she got up, needing to grab her medication from Lady Wicca, she was practically over her illness but he did say to keep taking them till they were finished and with food three times a day so she better do just that.

"Soooo" Frostbite said as she decided to make small talk, if her mate wasn't in such a fowl mood he would of been enjoying this, making the small talk himself but apparently work has decided to come first with him tonight "is there a reason you asked us here tonight darling?" Frostbite asked, looking at her daughter, eating a mouthful of food.

Tira decided to let them talk as he dished a bit of everything onto his plate also.

"Nope, just wanted a family dinner" Lemonade lied, smiling at her mother and ate a mouthful of food.

"I know you better then that darling, you are hiding something" Frostbite said, smiling at her youngest daughter.

"Mom, you don't know what you are on about" she said as she ate a small piece of roast pumpkin.

Maria arrived back and sat down "my apologizes" she said as she started eating her dinner.

"Can you just tell us why we are here already? Maybe I can get back to Solstice before it's too late" Jack growled slightly, not in the mood for games tonight.

"Jack, stop that" Frostbite gleared at her mate, reprimanding him "we are here to have a nice family meal, forget about work for five minutes" Frostbite scolded as quietly as she could as she looked back at her daughter and son-in-law and then to the others "my apologies for his behaviour."

"It's fine" Lemonade said smiling to her mother as she got up "excuse me for a moment" she said as she looked at Red "please, Red, can you come with me for a minute?" She asked looking at him.

Red looked up at Lemonade and nodded "excuse us" he said as he and Lemonade exited the room.

Blue looked at Sierra, wondering what was up with their grandfather tonight, this was beginning to be a rather hostile dinner and she hated yet yet if she did anything to try and lighten the mood, well, she would probably have her head bitten off by her grandfather, litterally, she decided to just sit there and eat her dinner in silence.

Lemonade walked back and kissed her mates cheek, looking out the corner of her eye she saw her father give a disapproving look, was it for the fact she was showing her mate affection at the dinner table or the fact they weren't telling him what they called him here for or was it the fact that he still didn't like the fact that his yearling daughter fell in love with a '*****'? She didn't know but she didn't want to stick around and find out unless she found a way to make her father happier. "Unless you know magic or know what makes my father tick like Red does, you have to stay here i'm sorry, don't worry, I promise, we will be back in a few minutes, I just want to see if Red knows anything on howto cheer up my father and make him less murderous, besides, I think it is better one of the hosts stay out here for the sake of being polite, less daddy has to be upset about the better" she whispered to her mate so her father couldn't over hear and looked at Red "Red, shall we?" She asked as as she gestured towards the door to the dinning room.

"Yes, lets" he said as he and Lemonade left.

Lemonade headed to the library, she could of gone to the kitchen but the chance her father over heard was still high there so the furtherest away was better "just in here" she said quietly to Red as she walked in, waited till he had entered and shut the door behind them.

Ahh yes, totally forgot about her grandmother duties in asking how her grandchildren were, she was too busy worried about her mate flying off the handle that she was neglecting even the basic etiquette "I have been good, besides, of course, living in a stressful house hold at the moment, how about you guys? You been well?" She asked taking a sip of her wine.

Sierra also giggled "I have been good" she said smiling at her grandmother "and yes, it does seem Rocky is the only one of us kids who never seemed to have your rules sink in but then, at times, neither did Blue in other ways" she said looking at her sister.

"Been great! And er...yeah" she said in a small voice and bit her lip "but that is only because it is just SO much fun! How can I say no?" She said looking back at Sierra " maybe you should find someone..." she said as she was interupted.

"I have someone, Eirwyn, remember him? We just don't feel we need to er...'express our love', to put it one way, like you do with all the guys you run into, Eirwyn and I are happy to take it slow, be intimate with each other and still have fun when the time calls for it unlike you who has just become more and more promiscuous since you became an adult" she said to her sister, not condoning what she was doing, it was her life, just that she wouldn't mind her sister not sleeping with every other guy she sees.

"It's not my fault guys find me so attractive, look at grandma, seems the looks come from her side of the family, moms rather good looking herself or else it wouldn't be one of the things dad fell in love with her for" she said smiling at Sierra, not meaning her grandfather wasn't handsome, he was, just that her grandmother was more of of a ' looker', so they say, that was all.

Sierra sighed "Blue, that isn't the point..."

Winter looked looked at his niece in slight shock but, and he hated to admit, admiration, yes he didn't agree with what she was doing but oh how he had sometimes wished he was as out going as what she was and yes he now has children of his own who he left at home for tonight but still, even if he didn't have children he still would not be the type to just go out and do that, especially when what happened between him and the other was a mistake, not one he regretted but a mistake nevertheless and it was all thanks to someone spiking his drink.

"My granddaughter is a SLUT!?" Growled Jack as he gleared at Darmani "this is all YOUR fault, It seems like it runs in the family you *****..." he said just before he was silenced by Frostbite, kissing him for a few moments and then breaking the kiss "alright, enough of that!" she said as she got up "please, excuse us" she said as she grabed her mates hoof and basically dragged him out of the dinning room and headed upstairs.

Lemonade couldn't just ignore that scream and ran out of the library and into the dinning room "w...hat just happened? And where are my parents?" She asked as she looked at the others, dreading the worst now, why couldn't a joyous occasion like daddy getting grandsons make him happy? Alright, so he hasn't been told yet but still, he could at least wait till hes told before he goes postal.

Sierra bit her lip and spoke up, quietly, but she spoke up "umm it was my fault, I let sorta let it slip that Blue was a slut..." alright so she hated using that word, especially about her sister but hey, if the shoe fits and all that "and what did grandfather mean about it being daddys fault and being a *****?" She asked curiously, the last word being the first word that came to mind once ' *****' was said.

Lemonade lent against the door and shook her head, this was horrible, So not what she needed "it's nothing, Sierra, we, your father and I, will explain later, this needs to be sorted out first" she said, upset at Sierra but more so at her father and then walked over to Darmani "I am SO sorry" she said as she nuzzled him, hating what her father blamed him for but also, in a strange way, she understood, if that was his opinion then so be it but still, it was unfair.

"I will go tend to him, see if I can calm him down" Red said having arrived at the Dinning Room door way seconds after Lemonade "I don't know what I will try but I will think of something" he said as he turned and left.

"How can you just sit there and tell us to 'eat up'!" Sierra said as she looked at her father "you can't just ignore what is going on, especially when it sounds like you are apparently a *****, I would like to know why my grandfather is calling my father a ***** and I am not about to carry on eating because you just want to sweep this under the carpet!" Sierra said, having been more out spoken since she got her medication for her 'illness', something that she got off her grandfather apparently.

Blue just sat there, in a way this was her fault, she played with her food as she looked at Winter who was eating as if nothing was going on, apparently he was used to these little out bursts.

Lemonade sighed and sat down "darling, this really isn't the time to talk about this" she said as she ate a bit of chicken.

"Fine, then until you care to tell me whats going on I will be in my room, I am no longer hungry" she got up, a little too forcefully and knocked the chair onto the ground before storming off.

Frostbite walked back in followed by Red and smiled at her family "well, I have good news and bad news" she said as she sat down, Red going back to his seat, both looking at each other "Jack is in the guest room, asleep, Red decided that it was better to give him a sleeping potion that will hopefully make him go back to his normal, non stressed self after he wakes up, it is a big dose but Red will moniter him so you dont have to" she said as she started eating her dinner again.

"But, like Frostbite said, it may be half a day or two days, I don't know, I gave him a strong dose to knock him out but it was a rush to make it and force him to take it so I am unsure exactly how much I gave him, thats the bad news really so I apologize for making him stay here uninvited" he said smiling at Lemonade and Darmani.

Lemonade sighed "it's fine, thank you" she said, hating the fact she now had to have her father here but what could she do? Something had to be done "anyway, maybe to break this tension I...we, Darmani and I should tell you why we originally called you all here" she said as she looked at her mate and smiled at them "care to tell them or want me to?" She said as she nuzzled him.
