"I'll search the area." X told them quietly, then walked down the stairs leading from the landingpad. She silently explored the place. There was no sign of any life. She saw something lying on the ground, so she instinctively raised her gun at it. X slowly aproached it, then realized it was a body. She kneeled next to it. This was one of the squad members. He had purpleish needles in him. "Needler." she muttered, standing.

X looked around, figuring the rest of them should be nearby. Sure enough, there were more bodies. She shook her head, then walked back to the others. "Good news, I found the squad. Bad news, they're all dead. Covenant weapon wounds, they're here. Keep your guard up."

Over the private, sealed com channel, six speaks. "Ive been seeing hints of motion in the nearby buildings. My bet' a few grunts, likely armed with needler's, and a jackal with a rifle of some kind." He says, but of course, it would only go over the com's, since that was how the setup worked with this sealed armor.

(What's a jackal? Are those the things that hide behind their sheilds or shoot you with alien snipers?)
X nodded. "But don't shoot as soon as you've seen movement. It could be a surviver. And stay low. That includes you, Six."

Six sighs. "Roger." He says. Just because I favor the gun first approach doesnt mean I blaze away at everything. He thinks to himself as he sees another flicker of movement in a window.

X raises her sniper rifle. She could of sworn she saw something just duck behind that wall.

Six flicks on external speakers. "Any human survivor's, come out now, or you will be assumed as hostile and fired upon." He says. He would do it too. there were human's who tried to help the covenant, stupid as it was to do so, since the covie's just killed them afterwords.

X was silent, as was everything around them. "It's way too quiet." she muttered, raising her gun. She took a few steps away from them, and heard something whiz through the air. She quickly stepped back, and saw she almost got a bunch of needles in her foot. X took out her assault rifle and fired at three grunts on a balcony near them. More Covenant appeared. "Enemy spotted!" she said loudly, almost yelling.

(Yep, thats them XD)
Six's gun came up as the needler discharged, his HUD activating, hooking up his gun and giving him a targeting crosshair, as well as ID'ing targets on the sensor and his HUD. Then the rifle starts firing, gunning down a Jackal that had been on a rooftop fixing to use it's beam rifle on someone. once again he was glad of the versatility that the armor systems gave. Of course, it would be even better with an A.I..

Y looked around as he heard a sound behind him. "Look out!" he said as he pushed bot Six and X out of the way as a energy rifle shot landed on him. He pulled out his pistol and shot the jackal that fired the shot, killing it.

Z sniped two brutes and a few jackals. "Go to hell." she muttered as she sniped an elite.

"There's too many of them!" X yelled. She was right. Whenever they killed one of the Covenant, another one seemed to appear. She made her way to a house. She tried to move the door, but it wouldn't budge. She kicked it, with no success. "Dammit! Z come open this door!"

Z nodded and made it over there too. She kneeled infront of the security pad on the door, broke off the cover, and began messing with it.

Y pulled out his assault rifle, giving Z some cover. "Come on Z. I don't think we can hold them off for much longer!" he said as he continued to shoot the covenant.

"I'm trying, I'm trying! I just gotta....there!" she closed the security pad and opened the door, which opened by going up.
