Rae examined the weapon curiously, poking it. "So if it only responds to your biological signature, why isn't it responding now? And, I don't think I have it in my schedule . . ."

Rae blinked slowly. "So . . . It picks up on hostility? And, yeah. I know about the whole flaunting thing. Dad used to be on me all the time about it. Anyway, what styles of fighting do you do? Just swords?"

Abilities: thunder/lightning manipulation, R.E.M.R.-'no! no! don't press the red button!' "Swords?" Xander couldn't help but laugh. "The R.E.M.R. ain't a sword, Rae." Letting out a small burst of electricity from his hand, the R.E.M.R. came to life. A faint buzzing sound could be heard as the device sprang to life, nearly doubling in length. To give a small demonstration of what it could do, Xander lightly tapped Rae on the head; she would probably feel a small electrical jolt work its way through her body system.
"The R.E.M.R. is a Retractable Electro-Magnetic Rod," he explained. "It operates on a series of varying electrical bursts from my own nervous system, and dependin' on the amount of voltage coursin' through it, it can either A: give people a light shock, as I've just demonstrated--" He paused. "My apologies for that, by th'way." Out of courtesy, he bowed before he continued his explanation. "--or B: can violently, violently shock people." A smirk played across his lips. "Human tasers have nothin' on this bad boy."'...I wanted t'press it~'

Rae jumped as she felt the electricity course through her body. She struggled to shake it off, nodding at his bow. It didn't hurt that much. "Human tasers?" she asked curiously. "What are those? What do they do?"
((Rae hasn't had a lot of contact with the outside world, so she isn't up to scratch on things such as technology, politics and general courtesy.))

Xander - who was playing with his R.E.M.R., using his electrical powers to make it extend, then contract(he found it quite fascinating, especially since he crafted the weapon himself) - perked his head up when Rae asked about what a human taser was. 'Guhh...' He blinked a few times, slightly bewildered - it was at this time that he reminded himself that not all demons lived amongst humans, like he did.
"...Remind me t'show you a human taser next time I get my hands on a computer," he said, using his R.E.M.R. to point at Rae as he spoke.'...I wanted t'press it~'

Rae blinked again. "A computer being . . . ?" she asked apprehensively, staring at the electric rod being pointed at her.

 Artie Hopper Artie sighed a bit when he found the entrance still blocked by the barriers. Artie looked around a bit and started moving carefully through the arcade, avoiding girls again. He quickly went passed Rae and Xander, wondering if there was another exit as he still had the cold sweat.

Rae's head whipped up as the boy passed her again. She rolled her eyes. He wouldn't get past her barriers - they were made of black energy for crying out loud. Deciding to follow him once again, she allowed herself to levitate about a foot off the ground - she was getting tired of running - before following him. Thankfully, everyone was still glued to their screens. Geeks.

Artie Hopper Artie soon stopped, he had found himself in a dilemma. He had ended it up in a dead end in the nearby hall, and behind him was a girl. He had no idea on how he should get out of this one.

Rae smiled. She had him now. She sent up a black barrier to fill the walls, therefore entrapping him. Of course, she could go through them, but he could not. Unless he could counter demon powers.

Artie Hopper Artie slowly turned around, and saw the girl levitating towards him. He backed up against barrier, he had seen that she had made a black barrier all around them, he had nowhere to go now. His face slowly went pale, the closer she got.

She sighed and took pity on the boy - pfft, no. She walked through her barrier towards him, while he looked like he was going to wet himself. "What's your problem?" she demanded, annoyed.

Artie Hopper Artie didn't reply, his face had gone completely pale. He started moving away from her, he was trying to stay as far away as he could from her. 'Girls are scary..!' Was the thought that kept going through his mind over and over.
