As she listened to Nino trying to explain what had happened to her, the Archsage asked the Adviser where was Rath. Was now really the time to worry about him? She understood how concern Nino was when it came to those who were in danger. However, this was not a good way to address it to the king, especially when there was so much issues to be sorted out.

Suddenly, she heard Rogvald speak, explaining that it was her that caused the trouble and making the guild went against James. This boiled the paladin. Although it was true that most of the resistance were members, Rogvald had made a slight error.

"Lies!" Isadora shouted at the old goat. "It was not the guild who went against King James. Have you forgotten that I am the acting captain of this guild? If you have forgotten, I like to inform you that those who rebel against the king are not members of the guild. I even have papers to prove that they had resigned the guild ages ago. So the guild have no part of the cause."

She then lowered her eyebrow. "Furthermore, the only command King James had given to her was to speak. And speak she does. Clearly, she hasn't disobey the king's order."

Suddenly, she heard Roy raised his voice, telling the adviser to shut up while informing Nino about Rath's whereabouts. He then turned to the king and informed him about what the adviser had done so far.

"Your Highness, I think we should still listen to what Nino have to say. After all, she hasn't fully explained everything of what have happened to her since her departure. If we don't, then we will never know why she left Learania."

Isadora hoped that the king would listen to what Nino had to say. After all, there were so many questions left unanswered about her disappearance.

As the adviser pointed his bony finger at her and accused her, she wondered for a moment if what he said were true. It was her fault... But Roy brushed him aside like an ignorant child. She smiled at Roy gratefully as he explained.

Good... So Rath was safe. She sighed deeply. Normally the word "lover" would have made her blush, but the situation was more serious at the moment. Isadora then came to her defense, bringing up the question of why she had left Learania. It worried her when Isadora said the guild wouldn't stand up to the injustices... But she ignored it for now.

"Thank you... both of you. And you, um... Your Highness. Thank you... I can explain, I really can. I won't tell you it was right, and I will not say it was not selfish. But I can say that it was within my right to do it. I was given... a chance. The one chance I believe I will ever get. I returned to my former home of Elibe. It is um... very very far away. I told Rath not to tell anyone and he's a man of his word... He is the most honorable man I have ever met. But if it meant his life, he should have said. I never meant to worry anybody, and I certainly never meant to hurt Rath! I didn't want to say goodbye... because I knew I could never go if I had to say goodbye."

She stopped briefly to bite back her tears. Standing up straighter, she looked James straight in the face. "I was selfish in thinking that I could go home. That it was even still... my home. However, I stand with my earlier assertion that I was within my right to go." She nodded with conviction.

"Now, if you are Leander's heir, you deserve to lead. This man, however..." She motioned toward Rogvald.
"This man means to destroy this Kingdom. And anybody that stands in the way of peace and incurs his own brand of Justice on the people of Eyris must go through me to do it. This is... my home. And I will defend it. So stand against me or stand with Eyris... That is... If Eyris would stand with me." She then turned to face outward, looking out on the citizens, soldiers, guard, guild members and resistance members standing in the crowd.

"Would Eyris stand with me now...? After all he is right on one count. The blame for this falls with me. I had briefly forgotten... this will always be where my heart lies and I left you unprotected. Wherever I stand with Eyris in the future, I will defend it with everything I have. And from this point on, nothing will separate me from this place. Ever. I won't have this kind of persecution happening here. So please... stop all of the violence. No more public executions and persecutions of our people. This was supposed to be a place of acceptance, diversity and peace."

She turned back to face James.
"Your Highness...?" She said expectantly, gripping tightly to Sophos.

I pray that you give me strength.

User ImageAbel from the right of her, and Oujay to the left! Sue had cover from both Heroes, whom were earning their titles of profession rather well today. "Abel... Oujay! Thank you." Sue said to her friends, nodding. With swordsmen as sturdy as them covering her, Sue had no doubts that her and her father would both escape the chaotic battlefield alive.

Sue knew better than to think that the pathway which the Resistance entered would be completely free though. Soldiers were lining up, making sure there would be no one who went outside the walls. By instinct, Sue held her father closer to her with the one arm that kept him on the horse, while drawing her sword with the other. Maneuvering her horse would be harder this way, but she would not lose Rath, not when she just got him back.

Luckily for her, it wasn't just the enemies that were blocking the pathway. Ephraim and Kishuna, a team that was formidable, was making sure the soldiers that were called didn't break through and cause considerable mayhem. Sue kept her distance from the battle, which was... really more of a knock-out fest on Ephraim and Kishuna's part. The nomad trooper would have to rely on them, and the pair of heroes that followed her, to keep both her and Rath safe for the moment.

James

Take me home, to the land of my fathers...

James closed his eyes, listening closely to everything Nino had to say. Of course, what she'd said about Rogvald was nothing he hadn't heard, but in light of new evidence, it certainly seemed considerably more damning. "Rogvald," he murmured. "I am not convinced that this is entirely true." He lowered his head, sighing deeply. "You have been as a father to me for many years, and for this I owe you thanks. But I cannot help but feel at this time, you are incapable of performing your duties as my adviser." He stood upright, puffing out his chest a bit. "I need a cabinet without bias to help me sort out this mess. Lady Nino, I hope, will assist in helping me find the truth. But," he said, "Until such time as we have determined the truth, you will immediately step down as my adviser. Lord Sceptan, consider yourself relieved of your duties." He turned away, sighing deeply.

"Please return to the castle. In the meantime, Lord Rath is to be immediately released from custody, and any pursuit is to cease. In light of recent events, I think it is safe to say there is absolutely no way he committed the murder of one Lady Nino of Elibe. If Lord Rath could be brought to the stage, I would like to issue a personal and public apology to him."

He paused, glancing at Rogvald. "Lord Sceptan, are you still here? Please, go. I'd like to be able to solve this peacefully, and I fear you will be an obstacle in that regard."

Nino breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you your highness, of course, I accept the position on your cabinet."

It was too good to be true. Could things really be going so well?

She smiled broadly at the thought that any moment she would see Rath... When I see him I will--- I will--- I'll just kiss him! And now, she could blush.

Eyris could enjoy peace again!

Or...? Could it possibly...

Lend me your ear!
...Heed my words.
ogvald

xxxxxNo words could express the shock found on Rogvald's face. It was as if he was frozen in time, incapable of escaping never ending imprisonment. He did nothing, said nothing, felt nothing. But then his inner self exploded. Anger overcame him. His breathing became quick and huffed. Growls began to escape every breath.

xxxxx"You... think you can just get rid of me...?!" Rogvald stared at the wooden platform beneath his feet and just continued to fume. Never before had his anger reached the level it was at, at that moment. Suddenly, he jolted his head upward at James, his face distorted in his rage. "WHO WAS IT THAT TOOK CARE OF YOU FOR YEARS?! IT WAS ME!! I HAVE BEEN LIKE A FATHER TO YOU! I RAISED YOU SINCE YOU WERE A SMALL BOY, AFTER YOUR FAILURE OF A FATHER AND YOUR b***h OF A MOTHER PASSED ON!! DO NOT THINK TO SPEAK TO ME AS IF I AM NOTHING!!! I KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU AND I ALWAYS HAVE!!!"" While in his incessant raging, Rogvald was slowly moving one of his hands inside his cloak. "YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A LITTLE BRAT!! YOU WILL NOT GET IN MY WAY OF THE THRONE I WAS PROMISED!!!"

xxxxxRogvald stopped shouting and his face grew pale. A silence passed over the area that seemed to somehow drown out the fighting all around. He couldn't take it back. His tongue had slipped and with it, he sank himself. He was exposed. He took a few nervous steps back even though there was nowhere he could run. He looked at the people before him as they stared back at him as if he were some simple burglar. He would not go down so easily. He was not done yet! "If this is how it's going to be... then I no longer have any use for you, you stupid boy!!"

xxxxxAs his lips began to move with inaudible words, the concealed hand emerged and a black tome with silver edging was revealed. Rogvald could use magic! He thrust his hand forward, right at James and shouted at the top of his lungs. "SVARTHULL!!" As the incantation ended, a black hole appeared in the ground in front of Rogvald and from it, a dozen black strips streaked towards the child king. The power felt from the spell would be horrifyingly familiar. Their touch would sting and dig into the skin, causing horrendous pain as they began to slowly dissolve that which they touched. At the same time, they would begin to pull their target back into the hole, never to emerge. They were easily cut, but if they were, more would emerge from the hole as rapid replacements. That tome was Rogvald's trump card. He himself was fragile, but his spellbook was not. He was determined to have his way, even if he had to kill everyone that came at him! "DIE!!!"

I advise you to listen. Not doing so could prove... deadly.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. Pitiful. The former advisor was throwing a temper tantrum. Lord Zeon saw it as nothing but disgraceful. His rambling was becoming a nuisance and the noble would find great pleasure in shutting him up if only he felt like doing so. But then in the end, Rogvald revealed his nature. Lord Zeon narrowed his eyes and continued to glare at him. So he was just using the boy for his own gain. He wished to rule Learania. But what was more troubling was the mention of the throne being promised to him. Lord Zeon could only wonder who he meant. Darkness was surrounding that man. The head noble sensed a deep plot rooted in Mordache. He personally... was aware all along that the house of Sceptan had gone none other than to Mordache all those centuries ago, when it left Learania. There had just been nothing he could do about it. If he had attempted, he would possibly be with his companion, Lord Eyris.

"Hmph!" When Lord Zeon saw that Rogvald had revealed a tome and cast a spell, he responded by pounding the bottom of his cane against the ground. A small tremor not felt by anybody save those close by him rippled through the wood. Before the black strips reached the king, another magical shield erupted, blocking the malicious attack. The strips merely slammed into the shield. However, a large crack was left behind. After the strips recoiled back and flew at the shield again, Lord Zeon's eyes widened as they broke through his shield and went after James. Rogvald's spell was more powerful than Zeon's own magic- and that is saying something!
PostPosted: Mon Oct 25, 2010 12:26 am

And so finally everything was being exposed. Nino had gone back to Elibe, but what she had done there wasn't revealed. But she in did fact wanted to stand for Learania. Through her words, and the comments made by the king shortly afterward, Roy understood that the young ruler wasn't corrupt; he was also aware of some things Rogvald was doing, but chose now to question the geezer. Also, it seemed like Rath would be pardoned. The nomadic pair would be overjoyed to hear that, as well as numerous other people.

And behold the ugly face of human nature.

I KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU AND I ALWAYS HAVE!!! YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A LITTLE BRAT!! YOU WILL NOT GET IN MY WAY OF THE THRONE I WAS PROMISED!!!" Rogvald shrieked, losing his cool.

... Well, at least they officially knew who the real villain was, and... those were some pretty harsh words for a 12 year old to take. Perhaps his suspicions were right... and Rogvald did in fact hail from Mordache, or worse, was supported by Mordache. As Rogvald reached into his cloak, Roy had already begun to move, sword unsheathed. The adviser revealed a black tome, which only confirmed the young lord's silent fears. He knew Rogvald knew some form of magic, with the Warp staff he used last night, but he had hoped it was anything but dark magic. Too bad it was.

Note to self: All suspicious advisers have a 100% chance of being shaman-types and are most certainly up to no good. he thought.

"Someone Silence House Sceptan and protect His Majesty!!" he shouted.

Alas, it was too late. Rogvald had already cast the tome, and a black hole emerged in front of the adviser. Black strips emerged and started to move about, towards the King. Roy wasn't going to reach him in time, but fortunately, Lord Zeon acted and created a barrier to try to stop the strips.

...Unfortunately, it didn't hold, as the strips broke through after only a few hits. Fortunately, it bought Roy some time, and anyone else who had started moving towards King James. Whoever reached him first could at least try to pull him back away from the danger while the others could try fending off the strips until someone could either shoot Rogvald, blast him with some magic, silence him, or some other option he couldn't think of off the top of his head.

The paladin watched as she listened to Nino and King James. She was surprised that Nino had gone back to Elibe and informed Rath not to tell everyone about this. She understood why she didn’t want anyone to know about this. But to hear that she had gone to Elibe? She thought it was impossible to do so.

Sure she known about The Door at Fefga’s manor, but it would only opened when strange phenomenon occurred or if someone had the certain key to open it. Isadora also knew that Estarcia had the Fire Emblem that had the power of time and space, giving the power to open portal. However, no one knew about Estarcia’s treasure till during winter time… Did Nino know about Estarcia having the Fire Emblem before departing?

Isadora would ask Nino about Estarcia and needed to know why she went back to Elibe, but now was not the time. Right now, they needed to sort this mess, especially the one called Rogvald. As the Dame Knight listened to James’ response, she couldn’t help but frowned a bit. James wasn’t convince about what Nino said? But she was the living proof to show that Rath didn’t kill her! Not to mention, she explained why she was not here, despite that the Archsage didn’t inform them of her reason to go back. Although she was not happy to hear about it, she was satisfied that Rogvald was relieved from his job. With him out of his job, that old goat had no power to abuse the power of authority. And once the king saw the truth, they could restore it from what Rogvald had corrupted. Not only that, but Rath was pardoned from the charges Rogvald placed on him. The paladin couldn't help but to be relieved to hear that news.

Suddenly, she heard Rogvald giving out a tantrum. Isadora scorned at the now former adviser. Really? Just because he was sack out of his job, it didn’t mean that he receive the worst punishment. Of course, the paladin thought he should get harsher punishment for what he had deserved, after putting the trouble over them. He should be glad that he received a light “sentence” after raising the boy well.

It was then that Rogvald had accidentally slipped his word to the public. Silence loomed over them. It was then that Isadora narrowed her eyebrows at the former adviser. I knew he wasn’t to be trusted. Isadora thought angrily with justice fury. Though the paladin was unsure who was it that promised the old goat the throne of Learania, she was very satisfied that Rogvald blew his cover. Now that his real true color was shown, she could finally arrested him and give him the true punishment that he deserved.

But before she and the others could do so, the slime git quickly pulled out his tome and cast his spell at James. Isadora widened her eyes in shock. The king was in danger! They had to rescue him!

“Someone, stop Rogvald!” Isadora shouted. “We have to save the king!”

Isadora cursed for being on her horse and not on the platform as she moved her horse close to it. As she quickly got out of her horse and onto the platform, she saw a barrier being cast around James. Who was it? She didn’t know, but she had to hurry. As much as she wanted to go straight to Rogvald and struck him down, she had to rescue the king. James was a victim and pawn to Rogvald’s plan.

When she saw Rogvald’s spell was unable to reach James, she saw a large crack on the barrier. That spell, it was not strong enough to withstand against it. Fearing for the king’s safety, the paladin ran as quickly as she could. She ran forward as the strips recoiled back, readied to strike against the shield again. As the strips flew and broke the barrier, Isadora jumped forward.

The Dame Knight instantly knocked James and dragged him to the ground. There were few strips zoom passed them as they fell to the ground, barely grazing them. Air escaped from the paladin’s lips as she and the king crashed onto the floor. Though it seemed that she had rescued the boy, it was unknown if Rogvald’s spell would react as tentacles and grabbed them when they were on the ground.

((My apologies if I try to save James that way. If this is not a good idea, please PM me and I'll edit it as quickly as I can.))

You know I can't slow down...
I can't hold back...

*******************

User ImageIn the midst of all the commotion, one individual figure emerged from the direction of the castle. His face starting to get shaded by the hairs of a two day stubble, and his eyes seemingly weary, he would've stood out if people weren't busy with the fighting. Bloodshot eyes peered along the town square.

It wasn't until he had calmed down that Lance realized he had never been in the castle before, and as such, had no idea where the dungeon was. All the time avoiding the patrols and servants, he ended up never getting to the dungeon after the sun rose. As he was proud to just be able to save Rath, he found his cell to be EMPTY. BLEEDING EMPTY. After 'nicely' extracting the information from a guard, he found out that the execution was already taking place.

He was tired. Out of breath. Sleepy. But most of all, he was pissed off. And the commotion at the square told him that he was already too late to his 'honorable rescue'.

That's when he saw him. And at that moment, his eyes zoned him on the old geezer entirely, not caring about the people around him. He could only see Rogvald, the old ******** that sent him away to prison to begin with!

Lance picked up his pace, avoiding any person blocking his path. He came up from behind of Rogvald, oblivious about the tantrum he had just thrown, or at the spell he had just cast.

"YOU. BELLEND. YEAH YOU." He shrieked before grabbing the old man by his collar. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I SUFFERED THANKS TO YOU?! MY INTEGRITY IS SPOILED, I NEARLY GOT MY SKULL SPLIT, I SIGN UP ON A SUICIDE MISSION TO SAVE OUR GLORIOUS LEADER, AND THEN THE GROUP FORGETS ABOUT ME?! I WANDERED THOSE CASTLE HALLS THE. ENTIRE. NIGHT. NOT A WINK OF SLEEP, AND WHEN I FINALLY GET TO THE PRISON, HE'S NOT ******** THERE. MY WHOLE PLAN IS RUINED. SAVE THE LEADER, GAIN PRESTIGE, ENLIST PEOPLE TO A MISSION SO I CAN SAVE MY SANITY. IT HAS ALL BEEN RUINED THANKS TO YOU!"

After he finally got it all said, his tone got quieter. "You're gonna pay, wanker, and you're gonna pay now! What should I do, hm?! Maybe cut you a smile from ear to ear?! No, wait, left daggers at home...maybe blow your skull open with an explosion?! No, no, too noisy, can't handle loud sounds at the moment, got a headache..." As if seriously contemplating, he started counting up ways to torture the b*****d. Then his eyes widened and a creepy grin spread across Lance's face, before he brought his head backwards, and slammed his forehead into Rogvald's, knocking him backwards onto the ground. "...guess I'll just have to beat you into a bloody pulp." he finally said, cracking his knuckles in a menacing manner.

*******************

Though you know, I wish, I could...
You know there ain't no rest for the wicked...

Until we close our eyes for good...

xxxxxIt was pointless! Their efforts were nothing! Futile! Not even the famous barrier magics of the Zeon household could stop the spell! If anybody got in the way, they would be hit! When the Dame Knight tackled the boy, four strips whirled downward and grabbed a hold of her limbs, their effects taking place right on contact. She began to be pulled away from James. Two went for the king's arms, and two more continued on towards the red haired boy and the noble.

xxxxxWhen Rogvald was grabbed, he didn't shout back. The fool had recklessly made the mistake of even coming close to him while the spell was active. While he screamed, four of the strips came streaming back. Rogvald would have been knocked back from having his head slammed into by a numskull, if he had been hit by it. But the strips were much faster than the thief, and they latched onto all four of his limbs and began to pull him back. He was already by the black hole. If nothing intervened, he would be sucked into it forever.

I advise you to listen. Not doing so could prove... deadly.

Nino watched wide eyed as Rogvald pitched a fit. She took an uncertain step forward, wondering if she should act. All of a sudden, Rogvald pulled a spellbook from his coat.

"No!" She screamed as a spell burst forth from his lips and flew toward the young king. It all happened so quickly-- A barrier by the same man that had saved her earlier, Isadora tackling the king, and some idiot going right for Rogvald.

The adviser dealt with him fast, and the man was being sucked straight into the black hole! The first thing she could think of to do was to save him, then try to deal with everything else.

She held her staff high and yelled "Aurora!". Sophos gleamed brightly and light beams shot out, first blasting the tentacles holding Lance, then the ones holding Isadora and James and heading for Roy.

The light dissolved the tentacles that it touched, but she soon began to realize that there would only be more.

"You!" She called to Lance. "RUN! Isadora! Get them out of there! Rogvald!" She called over the madness. "Rogvald, face me! Face me, coward!"

Kiote Deliven
&
Grave Yuion

Kiote was doing what he could, but it didn't take long for someone to decide the ranger firing arrows was being a bit of a nuisance. It was almost madness for Kiote to even attempt to keep track of just Grave, in fact Kiote was barely keeping track of where the target was, Rath. Kiote had more pressing matters coming quickly though in the form of the guard hurrying in his direction. "This just gets worse as I go, I swear." Kiote mumbled as he took aim quickly and fire off an arrow. He was really missing his horse right about now, but then again he had lost that horse before coming into whatever they called his place. Kiote still hadn't figured out the country name, which was a nice reminder that he needed to ask Grave about that latter.

The guard was oh so close to achieving his goal of getting to the ranger, but between Kiote's arrows and the sudden ceasing of a lot of fighting, the guard never made it. Kiote hadn't even realized that another guard had been headed his way at his flank, but the sudden, and finite, command of James put a stop to Kiote's close encounter. Kiote let out a sigh of relief, thinking all was finally decided, saving him from a lot of trouble when suddenly the equivalent of a child's tantrum could be heard from where Kiote believed Rogvald to be. Slowly Kiote turned his attention up at the man before blinking in surprise at what he saw happening.

Kiote did not understand a whole lot about barriers, magic, and the whole list of magical things a mage would know, but he didn't have to think very hard to related the dark hole summoned by Rogvald's tome to death. What was more concerning for Kiote was the sight of Grave moving to help what appeared to be a red haired swordsman. From what Kiote saw of the tome's magic, anyone in the way was likely to get themselves killed, though the light magic from Nino seemed to be doing some damage to the magic. That mattered little to Kiote though as he took aim. "Twelve and eight." These seemingly random numbers seemed to make absolute sense to the ranger as he suddenly adjusted his aim. No one seemed to be able to get close to Rogvald, so why not try to attack him from a distance, only problem was that by doing this Kiote suspected he would become a target. His distance from Rogvald was good, but it wouldn't make much of a difference here in a second. Kiote let the arrow fly, it's arcing path headed straight towards the advisor.

Grave had barely had time to react to Roy's call to follow him, but with a quick change of course Grave was basically following the swordsman from right behind. Grave only broke from following Roy long when the swordsman ran to protect the king, leaving Grave watching Rogvald with cool eyes. So this was the advisor, of whom Grave had only seen from a distance. Grave took this moment, a quick one to figure out what was going on. Nino, as she had been referred to, had helped end the fighting, though right now Rogvald seemed intent of killing them all anyways. What was more concerning for the Laguz was the tome that Rogvald was holding in his hand. Dark magic was not like fire magic, making it a little bit more safe for a beast laguz to take it, but this was different.

Grave shook his head lightly as he hurried after Roy, knowing full well that he likely wouldn't be able to do a think about the black magic tentacles. Luckily, Nino's light magic seemed to work the trick and stopped James and Roy from being carried off by the things. Grave barely even glanced back at Roy as he lunged at one of the dark magic strips, teeth ending one, but hardly putting a dent in the force of them. Grave had reverted into his humanoid form as he glanced back at Roy quickly. "Move." Grave said briefly. There was nothing left to say as Grave deliberately changed once again into a wolf and moved to block the tentacles with his body. He couldn't fight them like Roy with his sword could, but he was large enough to function as a body shield, if just for a second.

((Not to sure about if I followed everything close enough. If not, I can fix it. Also, if Grave should need moved, I can edit his portion quite easily.))

xxxxxThe strips dissolved as the holy magic touched them, and crinkled into nothingness. Those who had been grabbed were free for the moment, but were not out of danger. More strips came out like lightning, ramming right into the thief, and conveniently deflecting an arrow that had been fired at Rogvald. The thief would need to take care not to let them pierce through his gut. The strips whirled around, flinging the thief to the side and then all came soaring towards Nino at once. "Do not take the power I hold lightly! Its strength is something you have beheld before! Do you feel it?! DO YOU?! LET IT SUFFOCATE YOU!!"

xxxxxSuddenly, the pressure in the air doubled and a dozen more strips flew from the black hole, which grew is size. Two went for the thief, and the other ten went for all the others on the stage, soldiers included.

I advise you to listen. Not doing so could prove... deadly.

I've been blessed with the gifts of the gifts of the
Lady Saint, so show me some respect! It's not
every day you find a rarity like me.
₪Victoria₪

User ImageWhen Nino explained everything, Victoria couldn't help but be surprised at the reasons as to why she left the country. There was a way back to Elibe? That was the first she'd heard from it... but as Nino described, and the bishop expected, it was no longer a home for her anymore. Years had gone by, for some of the members. Of course things would change too much for them to return. In this respect, she could only nod her head. It was an undeniable truth.

And so, things looked like they were going to end peacefully, just when King James finally got the courage to stand up to his brutal adviser. He even went so far as to tell him to step down! Ah, yes. Things were looking up indeed. That was... until the old man had to throw a fit of rage. That tantrum had power behind it as well, in the form of a tome and a very deadly spell. "Tch, I should have known... a dark user abusing his power, I'm not surprised!" Victoria exclaimed, scowling.

When the stripes of dark started to shoot at everyone, the bishop wasn't sure who to react to first. They were moving to capture the King, then Nino! With a quick reaction, the bishop chanted a Divine spell to repel the tendrils that were wrapping around the Archsage, knowing that if she were free, she could help the others. Two light users was a whole lot better than one. That of course meant she was careful to avoid getting captured herself, for the time being.
