Darin toddered out of his dust pan and pretty much fell on Kass. He chirped and pulled lightly on Kass's feather fur. Caiden nudged him and he squeaked and looked up at his father.

Krissie was currently stroking Kiona's head. She had long ago set up a perch in the corner of the room for the birds that resided in the house. Hani and Kalli were fussing at eachother, causing a racket well above all the other noises in the house. Krissie had long ago stopped trying to calm the two of them.

Miette had made her way intot he kitchen and smiled a bit nervously at Nyx, "A bit crowed, huh?"

Caiden had made his way up onto the roof by the wooden grating meant for roses that was up against the house. He knew toril was up here and now seemed like a good as time as any to speak with her. Which he hadn't done a lot of since she had arrived. She spent so much time alone, it was better if she spent that time with the other girls. An isolated Dust wasn't particularly something you wanted in a clan.

Coming up behind Toril, he spoke up, "Hello Toril." The name, he thought, was a good one. It seemed to suit her just fine. He came up right beside her and looked down at her, since he was standing. "Why are you not with the others?"

Caiden snorted a little bit. "Maybe you should try socializing, you never seem to make much of an effort. All your time is spent up on this roof." His tail flicked about in a clear sign of aggitation. It was obvious he didn't approve of Toril spending so much time alone.

He sat himself down and sighed a bit. "I take it then, that you do not like it here?" She talked to Kass, but that was about it. He didn't like that either. Kass was potential competition, and it was better to have this demonic on his side than with Kass, where he could possibly make the stand to take over his girls. He didn't like to entertain that thought, so as soon as he got Toril more comfortable in the clan dynamics, or in the worst case, just drove her off all together, the better things would be.

Caiden nodded in response to Toril's answer of his question. Though, what he hadn't considered was Toril's relationship with Kass, he tilted his head, "What is your relationship with Kass?" He could relax a bit if Toril wasn't all that interested in Kass, but there was still the matter that he had to get her in with the rest of the girls more comfortably. He knew he was right, that Toril hadn't been putting and effort forward to socializing. The problem was how to better motivate her to talk.

But if Toril was interested in Kass, that would complicate things. He wanted Toril around. He could possibly drive Kass off, but Toril might follow. He shrugged off those thoughts and waited for Toril to answer his next question.

Caiden's fur ruffled a little bit. It was good news to him that Kass was no competition for Toril's affection. He almost smiled to himself and got up again, walking over to Toril and turning on the charm. He strutted about a little bit, showing off his glossy purple and blue coat. If for nothing else, he would be a good choice male simply for how healthy he was.

"I'd like to get to know you better," he cooed and smiled at Toril. There was also the opprotunity that he could get Toril to interact with the girls more if he could get her interested more in him... of course.. he could be a bit of a jealous thing and really wanted her.

Caiden closed the distance between himself and Toril and went so far as to run his beak through the feather fur on Toril's shoulder. He was interested in Toril and was making it pretty damn obvious. There was the arrogance in him that told him that no female would turn him down. He was gorgeous, strong, charming and smart. He would win out Toril one way or another.

Caiden was thrown off by Toril's reaction and was confused. He saw her lower her head and didn't react quickly enough when she connected with his side. There was a rather loud sqwauk and Caiden was sent tumbling towards the edge of the roof. He went over the side and quickly tried to save himself from going over the edge of the two story house.

His claws dug into the roof tiles, but were of little help as he quite simply ripped through them and slid off the roof. The only sound that was made when Caiden hit the ground was the rather audible snap and cracking of bones. He had landed on his left side. His leg had been under him at an awkward angle and was broken and his ribs on his left side and snapped too.

Caiden lay there wheezing, unable to find the strength to even move he hurt so bad.
