Star Village was the focus of a filler arc, had a meteorite that gave ninja who meditated near it a kind of solid chakra, but at the same time killed them of radiation poisoning.
The Star village is now pointless because the solid chakra from it has now been made into the Crystal element I think.
And Mint - Karonashi was acting according to his mindset. He is a protector.

Who exactly did I fight? Our sensei, a fight that you all were supposed to join in? I'm sorry that I have no life ok, but this is pretty much all I have to do outside of classes Mint, so it means I'm fairly active.

Mint you can chase anna down she is going to build herself an office and if you join up with her I'll run a little storyline where me and you roam off on a quest to get you some legendary thing [[your custom weapon]] it'll give you something to do also dispite me being a jonin i can't teach anyone i have like 10 jutsu XD
