Azula looked at the wood lying on the ground, "FIrewood, very good." She used her firebending on the wood, and it started to burn. smoke came through the air vents.

"Wh-what?" Tayu squeaked, "A way out?!"
She racked her brains...then she remembered-
"The Underground Road!" she recalled aloud, "We'll slip in through there. It's known to the royal family for escape!" She led them through to a portrait on the wall of the first Queen of the Earth Kigndom, a portrait always hung in the crown princess's chambers, and slid it open to reveal a passageway. "This will take us down. Hurry!"

Meanwhile, Azula looked around and sighed, "Well, looks like no one else wants to challenge us, and this throne is ours for the taking."

(Heh heh. Chillax man. I am a crafty devil for a good reason)
Tayu and the others had long since decended into the Underground Road, a long, dark road lit up by cave jewels. "There's lots of escape routes taught to the royal family." Tayu explained as she walked with her last two guards. "There are eight alone that lead from various places in and out of the palace from my room, and ten from my father's. There are only two routes to this road from the palace; my room and one that needs to activated by a royal seal," she held up a signet ring bearing the Earth Kingdom symbol, "In one of the store rooms."
She looked down the long dark road with a sigh. "At least I managed to help you two..."
Shock shot through her system like electricity. She recalled it all now. Her father...the generals, and all of Ba Sing Se's citizens were collected in the palace for safety...a place now under control by the two most wanted criminals in the world. Over a hundred thousand captives...save for one princess and her two bodyguards.
She let out a smal cry before collapsing to the ground in heaving sobs. Despite her small company, away from the palace's dangers, she prayed that the spirits would strike her down now for her incompetence...

"We can't stay here. Once they realize we've gotten out of that room, they'll be looking down here for us, and as the Princess, they won't let you go so easily." Raki said to her, standing over her. He did feel sorry for her, having her father held hostage by the Fire Nation, as well as her entire home under captivation. There could never be anything more painful than to be driven from your home and the one's you cared for. 'But, you know that she needs to move out of here in order to help them. Don't you?' the voice in Raki's head spoke again. He often got them in situations like this. It was really his own thinking speaking back to him, rather than an unknown voice in his head. It helped him come up with a plan.

Michael finaly talking says, "We can save them if we get to Omashu and try to get King Bummi to help. And he might be able to summon and ancient order. I shouldnt tell you this but I am a part of an orginization called the "White Lotis" and I can earthbend better than most people believe. Please Princess we need to get to Omashu. We can return with an army, cause we know well need one to take down those to. And we need to save the Avatar as well! They have him hostage somewhere in the city. So what do you say?" After that he resumed his thoughts to get Bummi to help. "Crazy Old man" he said under his breath hoping the princess wont hear.

"All..." Tayu took a deep, shuddering breath, trying to calm herself. "All right. I'll do my best."
She fingered her necklace. "Perhaps it is good to retreat for now. It's one thing to capture the king, but if they had this there's no telling what they'd do."

The Underground Road, however, was miles and miles long. With no ostrich horse for a ride or food, it quickly became an exhuasting walk to Omashu. Tayu's eyes were red rimmed from crying and exhaustion but she merely shook it off and tried not to complain. She needed to stay strong before her bodyguards at least.

Meanwhile at Omashu, King Bummi ate his food, and saw a messanger Hawk and it was a letter from Terra, "Terra's message." He said and started to read. His eyes widened, "THe leader has been captured! Looks like I'll be taking Iroh's place as Leader until he comes back. Terra has been leading her sister and friends very well it seems."

"Ok we need to stop. We need some rest before reaching Omashu. Reki and I will take turns watching while you sleep, your highness. Ill take first watch ok?" Trou sat down and prepared for the long night.

Tayu hesitated, guilt pooling in her stomach that she could rest while her bodyguards had to wait. But the exhaustion hit her like a tidal wave as she nodded, "All right. But try to get some rest yourselves you two."
Tayu pulled out the tie holding up her twin buns, her amber hair fluffing out in ripples. Despite knowing that it wasn't proper for a royal to bear her head before a commoner, she wouldn't rest well otherwise. She curled up by a crystal light, a damp patch of moss as soft as she would find down here becoming her temporary bed, and she quickly fell asleep by the dim glow of the crystal.
