Now it seemed things were narrowing down a little. The only reason why she would bring up a particular incident was if she was in some way involved he figured. Though, it may be possible that she wasn't a direct victim but had someone close who was wronged there. Either way she had some sort of tie to it; he just didn't know how.
Thinking on it, he tried to recall any information on such an event. It was a little hazy, but something seemed to spark in his mind.
"I think I've heard of it... I can't remember a whole lot, but I think it was more than just a theft if I recall.." he mused while trying to think of it. He seemed to remember something about a few people dying.

Isis looked away from Blade, hiding the anger that sparked in her eyes when he mentioned it may have been more than a theft. It was a ******** massacre!! she thought bitterly and took a deep breath before looking back at him. "People were talking about it for quiet a while afterward. It was one of the biggest jobs apparently pulled off at the time. An entire ranches worth of horses and the family dead." she said quietly, the words of all the gossip burned forever into her mind. "Do you know much about the people who did it?" she asked gently, not the same deadly silky tone as with the thief from earlier, but a coaxing tone non the less.

Her knowledge of the situation only further proved that she was somehow connected to the incident to him. Though, his guess was that she knew the family since he thought everyone had died there. There was a shift in her tone again, but it wasn't quite the same as before. Perhaps he wasn't in imminent danger here, but he was going to have to pick his words carefully to not spark something unintentionally.
"Not really, aside from it not being just one individual. I think it was a group of four but... my memory on the matter is really not too clear," he said, "It may be a small gang."

"But I only saw two-" she said before shutting her mouth and looking appalled. How could she let something like that just slip out!?!? What kind of idiot was she!?!? She knew better than that! She was trained better than that!! She clenched her eyes shut and shook her head, now what was she going to do? Wait, she would wait. If this guy showed any signs of aggressiveness she would kill him. And later on she would have to follow him around to make sure he wasn't reporting to someone. Oh what a mess she had gotten herself into.

With that slip of the tongue, Blade glanced up but she had already shut her mouth with quite a disturbed expression. Well this was interesting. So it seemed she was there on the day of the crime. Quirking a brow once again, he leaned back in his seat and took another bite of his food.
"I could always be wrong. Maybe it was just a duo," he said casually, "I know a number of people in the 'underworld' but I don't recall hearing anyone bragging about anything like that."
"But I guess this explains your wariness with thieves and the like."

Even though she was waiting for aggressivness to strike, his casual tone made her want to hit him as well. How could he just sit there talking so casually about the murder of a family?!?! she looked at him and swallowed, taking a deep breath to calm herself before she did something stupid. "I'm glad, killing an innocent family is nothing to brag about." she said stonily and looked down at her own sandwich. It was barely a fourth eaten but Isis didn't want it anymore, she had no desire to eat. She stood abruptly, picking her sandwich off the table and striding over to the trash can to throw it away.

"Not everyone feels the same unfortunately," he added as she got up to toss her food. The topic must have killed her appetite. Finishing up his own lunch, he brushed his hands off of the crumbs and mulled over everything. Isis had said she only had issues with a select few, and she seemed rather interested in the incident. Was she perhaps seeking out revenge or justice? Maybe some strange combination of the two?
Blade had an idea of what that was like, having felt something similar after his father died on the job. He had no clue who had done it though, and he had eventually managed to drop the notion of revenge. Though, should he ever find out and maybe meet this person by chance, things likely won't end too well one way or another.
"Vengeance shouldn't be your only option, you know," he said. The thief wasn't sure how she was going to take that, so he was prepared to try and dodge a strike if need be.

Isis had just dropped her sandwich in the trash can, but at his comment she whirled around, a look of anger on her normally cheerful face. "You don't know anything about it." she seethed at him, her temper getting the better of her more rational side. Who was this stranger to tell her about her options?!?! Was his family killed for no reason other than a bunch of greedy thieves wanted what wasn't theirs!?!? Isis wasn't one to throw a pity party, and she didn't expect everyone to understand why she felt the way she did. But here was a man she barely knew, a thief, trying to tell her about vengeance. "Onxon, Bala! We're leaving." she barked to her espers and left the black haired man sitting there.

Maybe not, but I know what it's like to want it.
"Hmph. Seems you've struck a nerve there," yawned Vol after the trio had stormed on off, "You really should choose your words more carefully."
Over the next week, Blade had just been going on his usual business. He stuck around town for awhile, just as he said he would. A few pockets were relieved of their contents, and a few merchant wares went missing, but he didn't pull anything big. He didn't really want to stay around long enough to plan something more grand. It would be better to do that in castle town anyway, perhaps. And perhaps one day he might even be able to break into the Hyrule Castle itself. Heck, if he managed that and got away, he'd be happy with only taking a spoon from the place. That'd be quite the feat indeed.
But no, he did nothing big here; he only took what he needed as usual. One reason for this was that halfway during the week, he realized the hylian girl he met awhile back was keeping tabs on him. Blade pretended to be oblivious still, and continued on. A part of him was curious as to why she was watching him and if she'd do anything.
Towards the end of the week at night, he met with one contact who was looking to hire him for some stolen goods. Vol wasn't really anywhere near this and was flying around elsewhere, seeing how his flaming mane would only draw attention to his pactmaker at the moment. After making the deal, he started to walk on off. Once he was a fair distance away, he let out a sigh and stopped in his tracks.
"Exactly how long do you plan on following me around?" he asked to no one seemingly.

Isis had stormed off, Onxon had picked on her about it and for the first time since he was summoned she told him to just shut up. And for once he did. Isis had kept her word to herself, following Blade around for the next week to make sure he wasn't "reporting" to anyone. She didn't want her plans of revenge thwarted before she even had a chance to begin them.
Most of her days were spent idly following the man around, but the nights were when she found he picked up the pace, sure the guy slept but he was much more active at night it seemed than during the day. Or at least that was how it seemed to her.
It was during one of these nightly runs that he stopped in an alleyway and called out to her. Well, technically he called out to no one but she wasn't dumb and she knew who he was talking to. She sighed to herself and slid noiselessly down from the roof she had been perched on, landing equally as soundlessly in front of him. "Actually I was planning on heading out tomorrow afternoon." she said smoothly and placed a hand on her hip, tilting her head to the side to look at him. "When did you figure out I was following you?"

For awhile, Blade heard nothing, but he was fairly certain she was somewhere around him. Before much longer she had dropped down from somewhere above and landed in front of him. Not exactly what he had expected, but he wasn't too startled. It seemed she was rather stealthy indeed, which went along with one of his initial questions of what she was exactly. He was vaguely reminded of one ill-mannered assassin he met some time ago, but he couldn't say for certain if she was anything like that.
"A few days ago," he calmly answered, "Care to explain why you've been tailing me?"
Sometime told him that it wasn't to try and catch him in the act of theft. If that were the case, she could have made a move much earlier, unless she was hoping for something more grandiose while he was here. Either that or she had somehow missed all of his swipes. Or perhaps it was some mixture; though he had serious doubts on that. Still, it was likely something else.

A few days ago. Well that wasn't so bad, if she had actually been out to kill him it would have been a few days ago that the deed was done so she wasn't losing her touch at least. "Not really, but I suppose you will want an answer anyways." she said with a roll of her eyes and brushed a stray strand of hair out of her face.
"I just wanted to figure out what you do on your time off." she smirked happy it was nighttime. The nighttime was her time, the time when she was out the most and the time she most enjoyed it. Being able to tail someone without being on a mission or without having to kill them made her slightly giddy and it showed. "Ask me no questions, I'll tell you no lies." she finally said and smiled again

"Seems to be a good deal of work to just learn that."
Quite frankly, he didn't buy it. She didn't have to tail him for a whole week to figure out the types of things he did; the first day or so would have probably told that much. There was something about that smile of hers as well that disturbed him a little but perhaps it was just his imagination. The thief supposed that if she was planning anything else right now he'd find out soon or later.
"Fair enough," he shrugged at her latest comment.
"In any case I must get going. I have some work to do," he added, though a part of him was wondering if she was going to keep following him. It may be a little troublesome if that were the case.

Isis tilted her head to the side in curiosity and looked at him. "Have fun." she said with another smile. (And yeah, she was gonna tail him to wherever it was he was going this time too ) "Where are you going anyways?" those were the words she said but the tone implied she was going to find out one way or another.

Hearing those words, Blade wondered if it was a good idea to go ahead with what he was planning. Though, he had no clue how long she was planning on following him around, and the sooner he got it done the better. With that in mind, he just decided to go ahead with it. It could be interesting this way.
"Just one last stop before I leave town," he said as he started to walk on off.
The job was simple enough; he only needed to get some documents from someone here, then deliver them to someone in the next town over. As late as it was, and considering what little information he had on the target, they were most likely fast asleep. So he didn't have to do a whole lot of scouting. The house in question was several blocks away. Once he arrived there, he glanced around briefly to see if Isis was anywhere within his line of sight.
When he didn't see anyone he approached the side door of the home and started to work at picking the lock.
