Movies! And scary ones at that! Igneous followed the rest of the students trailing to the gymnasium. She hadn't seen a good scary movie since they had rented a true horror called My Little Pony Twinkle Wish Adventure. She didn't think she would ever get to sleep again after that one! All those sparkly ponies - and glitter! The mere memory was enough to make her shudder.

She carried a bag of treats with her to share. Seeing the table set up for such donations she happily began setting out her goodies.

"Pickled grubs, bat-wing pops, cookies and spicy pepper wraps! Hope everyone likes them!"

Lizzy giggled softly at Chuppi from afar (well, not that far, but surely out of earshot in all the commotion); adorable, even with her spikes pointing out so dangerously! Turning her attention to the gnomes that Shehk had pointed out earlier, she looked on as a group of students went after the gnomes, cheering for them mentally. She was never really good at the whole... Running around thing. She liked to blame her genetics - Black Widows usually just make a web and wait for food to come to them right? Right!

As she stared at the students and gnomes from where she was standing, Lizzy couldn't help but notice a new arrival who was helping with the retrieval of the projector from the 'gnome projector-napping'... She didn't know where to laugh or cry at the sight; Gnomes really are rather annoying creatures, but the sight of students running after and trying to punt them? Rather amusing!

"Thanks Israfel," She nodded at the Siren before chuckling at his comment, "Oh, no... I'm not going to do that!" She then paused; she liked happy endings, but she can't stand anything that even vaguely resembled Hellma's Princess Corner... That was one terrifying corner of pink, glitter and sparkles!

"Lets go with something from the My Little Pony series," She suggested, turning towards the newcomer and smiling when she heard what she had bought with her - pickled grubs! Awesome!

If Braum wanted to think the night was where he shined, he obviously wasn't familiar with the Pricolici's domain, the girl baring her teeth after the demon when he took to the sky a-
Ohae...

Someone ELSE had apparently punted a gnome for her! SUPER!

Shehk had practically tripped over herself to stop when Sammy had run out of left field to derail the gnome-fleeing, kicking one of the thieves before scooping up the projector (with some difficulty). Fu fu fu. SUCCESS! Though she made a point of not holding it too high above her head when she reclaimed it, instead puffing her chest out just a touch at the 'Hooray undead pride' moment.

"That was pretty helpful! These guys really like to be a pain, I've noticed." Shehk beamed, "Punt 'em however much you like! I haven't liked them at all much since the fight.."
..
....

She spoke of 'the fight' in a way like it had been some sort of epic war. Clearly Shehk had experience.

But either way, once she was done with that, she romped on back over to where she'd planted her projector originally and did so again.

"So, did anybody decide on a movie?"

Samantha didn't need to be told twice that punting gnomes was an acceptable past time. While Shehk was collecting the projector she was reaching out to catch another gnome by the collar. "They steal our stuff, hardly do any cleaning at the school, and generally get in the way. If that's not annoying or a pain I don't know what is." Turning to the side she gave the little gnome a toss before kicking it just as easily as the last one.

It wasn't as good without the running start, but she was sure this gnome had far more vertical lift as it bounced along the grounds a few yards away.

"So whats that about a fight? Did a bunch of them stand on each others shoulders so they could actually try and win one?" Grabbing her bag she followed along behind Shehk waving to the rest of the group, even offering a friendly smile to Lizzy, apparently the undead girl had noticed she was being watched during her little gnome punting exercise.

Valandal

At first, Valentino was pleased with his role. It required very little work and very little activity on his part, he was a backup/precaution. By doing nothing and staying back, he had hoped he could stay out of the fray. Gnomes were notorious for their ability to turn a chaotic situation, into an Über-chaotic situation.

Letting himself breathe a sigh of relief as Shehk closed in, (it looked like he wasn't going to be needed tonight) Valentino was unprepared for the first gnome that came crashing into him. Unfortunately he wasn't prepared for the second nor third gnome as well. Gnomes were dropping on and around Valentino at an alarming rate.

"Neither my weather-vane nor barometer predicted there was a chance of Gnome showers tonight." Valentino groaned to himself, catching the next gnome that was about to collide with his skull. At least he was able to knock out all the gnomes after he caught them.

Seeing Shehk return with the projector, Valentino stashed the gnomes outside the dorm and made a note to try and 'Recruit' them tomorrow for his next experiment.

Braumithras was livid, once he realized what was going on. Granted, he HAD been distracted by hovering outside the window of a particular Professor Byrn's office, watching the none-the-wiser teacher with admiration instead of going gnome-chasing once the undead had rushed past him. But aaaaah, was it worth it. That woman had some nice tail-feathers. A pity he wasn't taking her class. But when he returned from his floating, what did he see but no gnomes left to take glory from? And that undead....FREAK had taken all the attention that should've been rightfully his. Every female in the room should've had all eyes for him because he was the 'savior' of the party. A low rumble in his throat died as he regained his steely composure. As he passed Valentino, he let a wing flare out and smack the poor undead boy upside the head, giving him a pointed glare as if to say 'you should've done something to make me look good'.

As it was, he rolled his eyes in feigned disinterest, and noticed one of the little pains in his backside was holding onto something while knocked out. In his experience, anyone who held onto something so tightly was doing it for a reason. Grabbing Valentino's collar and roughly pulling him out of the way of the closet, he fell upon the poor gnome, wrenching his hand open to find a single rusty screw. He frowned. Surely this was an unimportant thing? It was only a screw after all. Palming it anyways, he let his feathers ruffle once to get all the indignation and jealousy out of his face to regain his cool and walked back in, his sharp eyes studying the projector.

Then he saw it. With a small, dashing smirk, he went to the FearLeading Captain and tapped her on the shoulder. Opening his palm, he pointed with his free hand to a small, unobtrusive hole that could've been easily missed.

"You might want this, madam. One of the vile little peons decided to unscrew the turntable. If you tried to turn it on NOW, it'd only spin itself apart with nothing to hold it in place,"he cooed smoothly, placing it in her hand and folding her fingers over it with a bow of his head.

It wasn't the main spotlight of the hero, but the small act and attention would have to do. Turning without so much as another glance at Shek, he smiled devilishly at the group of ladies that had been speaking together. Walking to them, his wings curled out ever so slightly, as if to corral them into a tighter group, in an almost endearingly protective way if you didn't understand Braum's motives and NEED to be paid attention to. Even if the girls weren't all exactly his TYPE, a few of them were reapers and the pretty blue one with wings was surely a demon, along with the arachnid. Not a total loss.

"Hello again, lovely creatures....have you ladies chosen a movie yet?" he all but purred.

"I hoped someone would like the grubs - they are wonderfully squishy!" Igneous snagged a handful for herself before they all disappeared.
She watched the impromptu game of gnome-ball while she munched. While she didn't exactly approve of all the gnome kicking, she understood that a lot of the students had problems with them. Luckily her status as Pickfoot's adopted ward kept her from most of their mischief.
"Did Lizzy say she had a pony movie?" she asked the gathered group in response to the new male's query. "I have seen one of those - it was horrifying!"

Late, Hadiyya was late. Not that it should really come to anyone's surprise by this point, she was late for things quite often. Rushing about like a mad person was simply not her style. So, she took her time getting herself ready for the evening, and even after leaving quite some time after the festivities for the evening were set to be begin she didn't bother to speed her pace as she moved through the grounds of the academy on her way towards the gymnasium.

She hadn't gathered up much to bring along with her. A single soft blanket folded over one arm, all blues and golds and very Arabic in design, and a tasseled pillow held tight to her chest. It wasn't much, but it'd provide her a measure of comfort on the grass covered lawn where they'd be gathered to watch their movies. She herself didn't own any "scary" movies, so she hadn't bothered to grab any. Sure there would be plenty there already.

Yawning softly, she followed the Gym wall towards the far side of the building and the sounds of voices and flicker of lights. Slippered feet making no noise as she turned the corner to find the party.. partially underway. There were plenty of students gathered, but so far it didn't seem as though any movies had been selected.

Late, but not horribly so. Dark brows arched delicately at the thought, and a benign little smile danced along dark lips. "I will happily take fashionably late," she mused to herself, cerulean blues scanning the crowd for familiar faces and finding one right off the bat. Braum, her pet.. friend.. more? Whatever the label, she was pleased to see him and crossed the field to come at a rest beside him. "Quoth the raven," she purred, grinning up at the Raum. Hugging the blanket and pillow a little tighter as she adjusted her grip on them.

Unfortunately for the little Chupacabra, she wasn't going to make it much longer for the world. Already half-asleep from the warm blood in her belly her eyes had long since closed as she curled into a fetal position on Belladona's blanket; the little monster's quills stuck out all around her and made her look like a silly but dangerous ball.

She would, sadly, sleep though the rest of the event and have to be carried back to her dorm room. . . . somehow.

The ensuing action of the renegade gnome, his punted demise and the general goings-on had distracted the witch. That was until she heard a deep sigh that sounded slightly like a high pitched child's snore. She turned around and looked down, seeing the spiky ball that was Asleep Chuppi. Hhmmm. Belladonna figured Chuppi would be happier in her room and thought that perhaps the movie (especially if it was scary!) might wake up the sleeping chupacabra. And Belladonna knew how important the nap after a great gorge was, so she pushed up her sleeves and set about trying to move Chuppi.

And that was much, MUCH easier said than done.

The only thing Belladonna could figure was to fold Chuppi up in the blanket and attached her to the bottom of her broom (she was much too heavy to carry on her own and Belladonna really didn't want to touch those spikes), carrying her much in the same way the fabled Death Crow carried new born Halloweeners. This tactic worked with a great deal of grunting and groaning on Belladonna's side for she wasn't used to carrying someone so heavy on her broom.

Miraculously she managed to get Chuppi to her own room, but it had been so tiring that Belladonna has just spent the rest of the night there too. Had she missed the movie? Well jack darn it!
