Zyane didn't comment even though he had a inkling he knew what the boy had avoided in saying. "Magic has a will of its own...it needs to be trained just like the body does. You have talent, and by training as you have you are already getting a good head start." He commented giving the boy a pat on the shoulder like he would a son.
"I hope I didn't get on your bad side yesterday. Sometimes my dark magic influence's my judgment." He chuckled as he moved away. "I think we have the basics down, I would like you to continue practicing at home. Try smaller targets to see if your aim gets better." He offered the advice as he went to dust the snow off of his chair and sit down.

Ligeia looked up at Zyane then over at Vorel who was sitting off to the side then back again, "Not so much me as him." He whispered, "Vorel is a bit over protective and possessive at times, calls me 'his owl' so... I think if anyone you really upset him." He gave a flutter of his wings before he smiled, that Vorel hadn't tried to eat the teacher to spit a breath attack at him made him happy, he didn't want Vorel getting in trouble by messing with a teacher after all.
"Smaller targets." He murmured then smiled, "Should I work on moving targets as well?" He asked of Zyane, motioning with a hand to Vorel, inviting him over to where he was standing. He was feeling much better after class together then yesterday, in a good mood... and all he could think of was that he was going to be meeting with Chath today. A nice ending to a long and strange day he thought to himself with a bit of a smile on his face.
"Can I trade out the books I have with me for new ones?" He asked of the teacher as well, the ones he'd borrowed last time he'd already been through.

Zyane only chuckled, he didn't want to be on the receiving end of a dragon's fury. "Well I do hope he realizes that I was just trying to help. "Now as to moving...I'd suggest sticking with still objects for now..if you push your self too hard and too fast you'll find it more frustrating than it is worth." He commented as he then flicked some snow off of his arm rest.
Looking to his books, and there were many of them he nodded his head and gestured to them. "Go ahead, don't take too many now..remember you need to practice not read." He chuckled again.

"Alright, I will save the moving targets for later." He said, moving to where the bookshelves were, blowing aside the snow before he set to work picking out which books he wanted. Once he'd picked out two he put back the two he'd taken last time, put them into his bag, then turned to his teacher, "Thank you for the help... even if I wasn't very amiable yesterday, something I would like to apologize for." He said, bowing his head to his teacher in an apologetic manner. He needed to be more open to learning he thought to himself or else he was going to end up hitting a wall with his learning, something he would rather not do.
Vorel merely gave a grumbling, rolling his eyes when Ligeia said he was sorry when it was the fault of the human teacher! His tail thumped against the ground before he looked at Ligeia, "We should go, your mate is waiting for you." He reminded the owl, eager to be off.
The owl's eyes got wide and his cheeks went red, "Vorel!" He squeaked, finding it embarrassing when he referred to Chath in such terms even if deep down he liked them. He turned to looked at Zyane once more, "I would like another class with you if possible, once I have gotten in enough practice."

The necromancer laughed and then nodded his head, such an eager student. Shifting in his chair he only coughed into his gloved hand then then nodded his head again.
"Of course, just sign up and I will be here. You better get going though, your dragon seems to be antsy." He murmured giving a small wave in Vorel's direction.
"I am sure we will see each other soon."
