 Karol watched Vortak for a moment, noting his sudden tense at the mention of the guard being weak. "Vortak control yourself" she hissed. "We don't want any trouble right now." she then addressed the man in front again. "I can tell that you are formidable, but what would your price be?"

The guards about the room all started, shifting into battle positions. Vortak had placed himself closer to Karol and Butterfly. Karol steadied all the men with a short glace. "How do you suppose we shell help you achieve your glory?" she asked smoothly.

 "We have no desire to rid your guards of there loyalty, instead only to assist them, we have even gathered the heads of each of the most wanted outlaws in your kingdom." says Corvoala. A assassins hands him a large brown sack tied in a knot, Corvoala opened it and inside were the heads of many outlaws.

Karol send a sidelong glace to Vortak who was suddenly caught making a face at the heads. She held back her laughter, but her face suddenly lifted to show the happier side or the ruler. "Very well," she said with a small smile "Do you or your men require housing?"

Karol nodded, her pleasure hiding under the well-trained mask that she put up once again. "Very well" she said. "You and your men shall be very welcome, any time you wish to come to the palace." she looked over at the family that now cowered in a corner "If you would like a representative to our affairs, feel free to him to stay...but I believe we have a meeting to continue" with that, the ruler sat down at her end of the table and waited.

Karol looked thoughtful "He was dead drunk when he had come home. I would suppose that's why he figured they were gods. Though perhaps he can remember more of the truth" she gave a short nod to a guard who immediately left the room to retrieve some tempters.((You can make the topics since I don't know all of what you plan. I'll go get the sub made. What would you like it to be called? Assassin's Bureau?))
