{Van and Riley just arrived in a strange Magic-Loving town called Ardalone, only to be greeted by Mala. They talked for a short bit and are heading in her temporary house, I think. That's pretty much it. If you need me to worm in a way for your character to join in with the trio or if you want me to make another character, let me know. biggrin }

"Oh man, where to begin..." Van said as they walked inside.
"Actually, things have been pretty dull. Mostly Van helping me keep up with my training. But there were a few incidents that are certainly worth telling..." Riley said with a sweatdrop. Clearly what adventures they did have were going to be unique to say the least.

[Nah, it's cool. Thanks a million ;A; I'm so sorry I had to ask. I'll just try and enter at least his existance into here first.]
Cheshire sat in the town's square grinning his "Cheshire Grin" as usual. "Nope! Wrong again!"
"Agh, can you at least tell me the answer?" the pedestrian asked.
"Maybe when you figure it out" he said continuing to grin. Sometimes his smile would make a few people irritated and sometimes they would try to punch him. Luckily, they were in a public place, so he was semi-safe. He had gathered quite a crowd with his riddles as he also gathered much loot from many trials of riddles.

{No problem. XD We just started, so it wasn't too much of a problem. About 100 pages in the future, however, and you would've gotten a much crappier summary than you currently got. D:}
Mala raised an eyebrow as she went over and sat herself down on the large, luxurious couch of hers. "Oh, do tell! I'm dying to hear some interesting stories! Gods know most of the people here can't tell a good one if it bit them in the a**..." she said, interested in hearing some interesting stories from the two.

"For the sake of our dignity, we swore we weren't going to talk about it again...But since it's you I guess we can make an exception." Van said flopping down on the couch next to Mala.
"We were just getting ready to leave town when we hear an old man asking around for a few body guards due to some local bandit attacks in the area." Riley said, taking a seat in an available armchair, a little uncomfortable in such a fancy place, even if it did belong to his sister. "He was heading in the same direction as us, so we thought 'why not?'"
"The entire time, this old guy just keeps going on, and on, with his 'back in my day!' rants and it was torture! About halfway to town though, a decently sized group of bandits does attack--only for grandpa to suddenly bust out the kung fu and kick all their asses without breaking a sweat, making our presence completely pointless, while he continues right along as if nothing freaking happened!"

[Mmm, looks like I'll have to wait on this one. Oh, and could you change the "Obvious?" part to yes? I didn't kind of understand that one, so...yeah..... sweatdrop Sorry you have to go though that ;A; ]
Cheshire finally brushed off the crowd with his pockets full of money, which he never really needed to worry about. Hmm, where too first? Ironically, at that moment, his stomach growled. "Ah well, I guess I know what to do with the money now!" he said to himself cheerfully before living up to his name as he disappeared into the crowd and into an common inn as he sat down to order.

{It's fine. ^.^ Seriously, if you'd rather not wait I can make another character. I normally don't just play one character in most RP's anyway.}
With a snicker Mala said, "That sounds like quite the interesting encounter." Afterwards, she brushed a blonde strand out of her face before she asked, "Have you had any other interesting encounters? Or is that it?"

"I can't think of anything else, although there was that one group of bandits..." Riley brightened up remembering the encounter.
"The group of...?" Van tried not to burst out laughing when he remembered the tale of which Riley spoke. "If you could call 'em that, sure! Oh boy...So this town is apparently suffering from monthly bandit attacks. They tell us how this group of horrible men and some pet monster of theirs comes about every month demanding supplies or they destroy the place. Their hideout was apparently in a small cave a little ways outside of town, so we head out to take of these guys, expecting a decent fight. What do we find when we get there? Two fat idiots with a bear on a chain!! It took Riley and I while to stop laughing long enough to kick their asses, though once the bear got loose it mauled 'em for us before wandering off into the forest to mind its own business!"

Mala laughed. "Two far losers? An utter terror? Bandits? Wow, villagers are getting more and more pathetic these days!" she said, quite amused by this. "Do you have any more interesting stories? I've got none here, unfortunately."

"Very well, actually. I just graduated a couple days ago, and I'm allowed to live here for awhile longer if I wish." Mala said. "However, despite the appearance of this place, it's kind of boring here most of the time. Not many people like talking much to one another aside from anything involving magical studies." After this she went on to hug both Riley and Van once more as she said, "I missed you two so much! It's been so boring and lonely around here without you two to help me get into all sorts of crazy jams!"
