Demios looked at Amara and frowned "I know she did I..I just couldn't control myself" He said. He dropped the sword he had brought strangly the moment it touched the ground it shattered. He wasn't sure why but he figured it was a sign "I think we should go before anything else happens here" He said. He hoped the people of the village relised how lucky they were.

Amara looked at Demios and helped him up. Amara didn't know that she had come into great power as she began to walk with Demios. "Let's go..." she said with a smile. AS they continued to walk, The Demon began to strike as Amara looked up and at Demios. He wouldn't be able to fight. "Demios...you need to leave right now..." she trailed off as her eyes glew a red color.

Demios looked at Amara and was about to protest, but stopped. He knew there was something she was supposed to do. He hugged her "Just becareful Amara I almost lost you once...don't make me go through that again" He said. He then turned and headed for the edge of town "Starlight grace from the sky take my strength and bless my friend prevent this from being her end" He chanted. It was basically a protection spell so that it would be harder to hurt her but it left him more vulnerable while the spell worked.

Amara smiled at Demios. "Thanks a lot" she said smiling at him. She then ran off to face the large demon. She opened her mouth as her sound abilites were amplified blowing off his left arm. Amara was surprised that it had even happened. Her powers had been increased ten fold as she looked at the now enraged monster.

Demios frowned as he looked back once he was a good distance away. He hoped Amara was going to be alright but he wasn't sure. He was still confused as to how she survived the fire. He felt his vision blur for a moment he was still tired from the spell. He took a moment to sit down "....grandma...you knew something about her didn't you..." He said quietly. He picked a flower and closed his eyes as he focused on his grandmother trying to channel what she saw in her strangely the flower ignited into flames and burned to ash. He looked at the ashes in his hands "what does it mean" He said.

The monster yelped in pain as it used it's free hand scooping her up as it began to attempt to crush her. Her eyes glew as her a fiery aura began to surround her and its hand was pried open by an unseen force, breaking every bone in its hand. Amara raised her hand as a wave of fire engulfed the demon as his body began to shatter piece by piece.

Demios looked in the direction of Amara and frowned he hoped she was alright, but he still was confused on how she could've survived everything around him seemed to be saying she should've died. He figured all he could do now is wait.

Amara looked at the monster began to deteriorate. Two large spears were launched into the air piercing it in the heart. That was the ability of telekinesis that she didn't even know she had. As the monster began to crash towards the earth it's body simply evaporated. Descending unto the ground she ran towards Demios cradeling him as the fiery aura surrounded both of them...slowly healing him and restoring strength.

It had been months since Amara's "death" and it had taken a while before he had come to accept what happened. Although Demios was still confused as to how she survived. Word had spread of Amara although her name was lost in the story. Demios swore to Amara that he would never return to his home the people had lost their way and he wanted nothing to do with them.
Currently Demios and Amara were staying on a mountain side village. It was a change of pace from their normal life. The mountains and their nearby forest brought life and mystery. Rumor had it that demon had taken over the mountain shrine. The demon was known as the Midnight Ryu, the dark dragon. The rumor said that the shrine was originally dedicated to a mysterious spirit of the night, but a few years ago a demon dragon had taken over the abandoned temple. The dragon was said to be immune to fire and light so it would be hard for normal people to kill.

Within the months of Amara's "death" she could feel a certain bond growing between her and Demios. She wasn't one to rush anything but her feelings had grown for him. Their life in the mountains were more peaceful and the fact they were able to do "good" for the people satisfied her.
Lately she had been hearing about the dark dragon demon but she thought of it as nothing but a myth. She had been cooking for Demios as she set the table waiting for him to get some food.

Demios had just returned from what someone reported as an emergency and it was emotionally draining. As he walked in he took a seat in his favorite chair. Him doing this was a sign that it had been a long day from him. He frowned and leaned back in his chair deep in thought. He'd wait a minute to see what Amara was up to.

Amara looked over to see Demios looking very tired. She walked towards him and smiled. "Another tiring day huh?" she asked rhetorically. "I hope you feel better" she said to him. "I've made some food for you" she said as she went to go grab a bowl of cabbage soup and brought it to him. "It should make you feel better" she told him. "I've been hearing more and more rumors about that dragon demon...I dont know...do you think it's real?" she asked him curiously.

Demios looked at Amara and smiled "Thanks you always know how to make me feel better" He said as he began eating. He then herd her comment. He frowned and sat his bowl down "There was another attack a little boy went up to the mountain....we found him or atleast what was left" He said. He looked at her with a serious look "Dragon or not there is something there....I know we agreed not to use our abilities to hurt anyone but I think we need to stop whatever is in that shrine" He said.

Amara frowned when she heard that the little boy had died. Amara agreed to what Demios had said. "Yes I agree" she said. "Looking at things I guess we can head out tonight then" she said relaxed.

Demios looked at Amara and smiled glad to hear that she agreed that they should check it out. He walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her "Just promise me you'll be careful I don't want you to get hurt" He said. He wasn't sure what they would run into, but he was sure it wouldn't be pretty. Suddenly there was a large flash of lightning and booming thunder. "That was...ominous" He said his tone showed some degree of worry.
