Manfread shuddered as he walked deeper into the library. He had the suspicious feeling he was lost, again. After aimlessly walking around the gigantic building, he finally found the familiar corner where he had first found the gentle fist scrolls. Pulling out a random scroll from the pile, he sat down and began to read aloud.
“The Empty Palm technique is a form of gentle fist that is used to strike an opponent at a distance,” he read, “this technique is similar in practice to the Heavenly Spin...” Manfread paused to think.
“What!?” he screeched “No its not...well...I don't see how its similar to the Heavenly spin.! That's stupid. One spins the other...well you don't spin.”

Manfread resisted the massive urge to deface the ancient scroll, as he continued to read.
“This attack has a specific target, rather then hitting a general area...No duh,” he said, “to perform, the user must accurately pinpoint the opponent's vital points with the use of Byakugan, and release a high-speed palm thrust. A 'vacuum shell' compressed using the Gentle Fist is formed to push the target away, in addition to causing damage.”
He finished reading and set the scroll down, “This doesn't make sense using a high-speed palm thrust, to create vacuum? What?” he said turning the scroll upside down.

Tilting his head, Manfread reread the scroll. Still resisting the urge to deface the paper, he carefully thought about it.
“I still don't get it....similar to heavenly spin?” he muttered. Turning the scroll right side up again, he memorized every word. After a while he seemed to be able grasp the concept. Standing up he replaced the scroll and headed for an exit.
“Hopefully physical practice will be more enlightening,” he said. Unable to find the stairs down, Manfread settled for the closest window and bailed. Then he headed back to the training grounds.

Manfread swore, as he tried to navigate his way around the large library. It seemed like a bad habit, becoming lost in all the scenery around him. He continued down, or up the halls trying to find the ancient scroll that contained Heavenly spin. After aimlessly wandering around for what could be hours, Manfread finally stumbled upon what he was looking for.
He pulled out the old scroll, and plopped a squat on his usual spot the floor. Manfread opened it up and began to read.
“The Heavenly spin utilizes the control gained through Gentle Fist training to release huge amounts of chakra from all points of the user's chakra points. The release blocks any possible attack aimed at the user.” he said, reading from the scroll.

“The user then spins to parry incoming attacks, creating both a rotating shield of charka around themselves and tossing nearby attackers away,” Manfread said continuing to read aloud, “The jutsu is only effective when rotating, since the chakra itself is not enough to stop a physical attack.”
Manfread looked around, and set the scroll down. He scratched his head thinking.
“I don't see how Empty Palm is like this... even in practice,” he said to himself. He picked up the scroll and continued to read.

Manfread read over the scroll a few more times, trying to memorize the theory behind the technique.
“It uses chakra and a spinning motion at parry incoming attacks. Sounds easy enough,” he said “the only real problem is releasing it from every point in my body...”
He looked at the scroll again. Standing up Manfread placed the old scroll back on the shelf.
“Well practice makes perfect, and I'm itching to move around,” he said stretching his muscles.

Manfread replaced the scroll containing Heavenly spin and headed for an exit.
"Well time for some real practice," he said, still trying to find an exit. Stumbling upon a window, Manfread opened it up and jumped out.

Trash Collection: Post 3/3

The trail led to the library, and seemed to stop there. That judgment was based solely on the amount of garbage that coated the building. It was as if the villain was going out of his or her way to make a mental attack.

It wasn't working.

Bast was only getting more enraged. Her broom would deal with these scoundrels; one way or another, they would be swept up in her crusade.

The cleaning of the library went quickly. The trash was gathered with superb skill, and deposited in to receptacles with great accuracy from long distances. The inside was devoid of litterbugs, though, forcing Bast to continue her quest.

San entered the library, looking for something to read. It had been a rather long time sense he had some down time to do it, but now that he would take full advantage of it. Running his hands along the shelves, the Konin began to "read" the spines to figure out what book meant what. He found several fun ones, like fuuinjutsu, summoning secrets, raiton at its finest, and other fun titles. He missed being in the library and reading everything he could. He had learned so much that way. The best part was.....everyone else could know it too. They just had to take the time to do so. It wasnt until he found a title that spoke of forbidden jutsu did he stop. Oh the temptation.....what could possibly be in this book......But he knew Mam would go nuts. Retreiving it, the Konin left for Mam's office.

Manfread entered the library from a ground window, tip toeing around he found his secret stash of snacks and grabbed them before wandering around. He found the books San had told them about at the crevice before woke up at the hospital and pulled it out. Sitting in a corner he opened it up and began to read. Now more then ever he was starting to under stand the important of team work, especially after he was nearly useless in the drill that had occurred-
Manfread scratched his head how long was he out for? He sighed and went back to reading.

Manfread Finished the book, stood up, stretched and yawned.
“Ow, pain,” he said, rubbing the ache in his back. He put the novel back and headed for the exit, having gone through all his snacks it was time to collect the money he had neglected to when he had returned from the village. Then he would get San to keep his promise and buy him some ramen.

James walked in after showering and getting some food. He searched for Raizen's works, and sat down for a quick read. James read it through with an open mind, and then left on his way.

Walking inside the library, he saw hundreds of books on every table laid out for anyone to read. He was probably the last of his fellow Sand shinobi to arrive here to look at Raizen Satetsu...Sanshi Satetsu's father's works. Shiki would spend a few hours or so here in the library, getting into the mind of a great and powerful ninja of his time. Shiki needed to improve his teamwork with everyone, so that he could defend Sand to the best of his abilities.

After fully understanding Raizen's teachings, Shiki got up and went to find San. Shiki was going to pay him back for telling him of this amazing information.

Lucas walked into the library and walked around looking for the books that San had said he'd left in the library. eventually Lucas located the books and began to go through them reading about the exploits of San's father. Lucas was begining to realize that he was more ment for things other than a head on fight. he just didn't think that way. that ment he needed to learn how to do less combat things. Ken walked into the library people seemed to be surprised by the tiger that was following him closely behind, but it mattered little to him as to what they thought. He went up to the librarian and requested two taijutsu scrolls after retrieving the two scrolls him and his tiger quickly left the building anxious to start his training.
