Nix saw the base coming up and drove a bit faster. "How you feeling?" Nix asked Jim as she glanced over at him quickly.

Adora and chris hopped into Jim's car. Adora pulled an old coke she got back in the city and took a few sips. "Who else wants some?" She asked. she offered it to chris. He looked at it for a few moments then took a sip. "Blech! Should have guessed, flatter than a flapjack!" He said, disgusted shoving it back into Adora, who was laughing like mad.

As they approached the base, Jim and Charlotte stepped out of the car, "Alright, we need to haul in any supplies that we have inside before it hits night time, scavengers may spot them and steal them," Jim warned, and starts bringing things inside.

"We'll do this Jim, just go inside and rest," Nix said as she took the things he had and began putting them inside.
Leonardo helped out and called for the two other guys to help out as well.

Adora had fallen asleep during the car ride, so Chris fixed her hair then got out of the car to help.

Charlotte was doing what she could to help out the band of survivors, "You do know once we bring these in, we have to organize all this together, right?" she said.

"Hey Jim, we've finished placing everything in here, whatcha working on? Jim turns and sees Charlotte in the doorway, nothing, just tinkering and modding the equipment, i've managed some things though, there over there in the corner."

Nix was on the roof of the base looking at the other end of the city through a telescope.
"I see you looking at the people trying to evacuate..." Leonardo said as he leaned his elbows down on the railing by the telescope.
Nix stood up and stared at the direction she was through the scope and nodded. "Not pleasant...." She muttered and put her and on the telescope before looking at him.
"Those who are infected are not allowed to leave....its sad how their children who are still clean have to stay with them and suffer."
Nix nodded and narrowed her eyes, "It's hectic out there....people are becoming desperate." She sighed and looked up at the darkened sky.

Charlotte eyed the halberd integrated rifle, and examined it, "Are you a Warmonger? You look like you know what your doing alot of the time. Jim sees her examining it, "You could say that, worked as an enginneer for weapons."

Leonardo looked at Nix and frowned. "I have to tell you the honest truth...I won't be helping you get into that lab. I only said that so you could agree to coming here in safety. It's best we all leave the zombie populated city and head somewhere clean."
Nix looked at him almost shocked, "But you said you would..." She looked down and shook her head, "Fine you don't have to help....we'll go on our own."
"Now...i can't let any of you go. It is far to dangerous. You and your group aren't the only ones that have thought of going in to find a cure. About 100 groups went in at different times. All of them contained at least 10 people..none came back out alive Nix. IF you go in, your chance of survival is slim to none."
Nix shook her head again and head back in leaving the roof, "I'm not changing my mind." She said as she slowly walked toward the group with Leo right behind her.
"Damn it! Why are you so damn stubborn? Don't you understand that all of you will most likely die. I'd give it a 99% chance that none of you will live."
Nix stopped as she reached the room and turned around to look at him, "I told you...I'm not changing my mind...but if they want to stay here in safety then so be it, i'll go in it alone if i have to."
"Why are you so determined to get this cure? How do you even know it is real! Only because you heard someone say it doesn't make it real."
"My father told me before he was taken by the sickness...I believe his words and im positive there's a cure." She said irritated and anger flashing through her eyes.
