itsa comin up, people! sadly tho, like others in the guild, i wont b goin to wizardworld chicago... tho im curious to see if anyone here is goin to the sd comic-con, cuz im goin this year. 3nodding

...did the Texas WizardCon already happen, and if not would it be worth it to go there? o.O I've lost my con virginity on A-Kon this summer, so it'd be nice to go to a con that's a little more my flavor.
(Somehow at A-Kon I still saw someone selling the first appearance of Hellboy ever.... and I couldn't get it. Curse my lack of funds! gonk crying )

future spidey, the sd comic-con is apparently a pretty big convention down in southern cali this july 20-23. i was convinced to go by a couple friends n its gonna b my first time there. 3nodding

Curse my lack of funds! gonk crying ) I lost my Convention V-Card at A-kon as well, though it was two years ago. It's largely turned me off the anime convention scene, though I'd be willing to go to a comic con at some point. I might even go to another anime con if I went with different people. We didn't really do much of anything. I'm planning now to go to Chicago next summer, which will be much easier with my being able to work all through the summer instead of the last few weeks.
