Azrael slammed his blade into the ground, closing his eyes.
"Good. Any kind of a shield like that thing just demonstrated is not going to last long. S, when its shield drops focus on removing either the generator or the long range capability it has. I'm going to give it a few more targets to dance with. Summoning: Skeletons!" A dark flare of energy ripped through the ground. A few cracks opened up in the soil, before two skeletal hands shot up. The hands scrabbled on the ground for a second before grasping onto stones nearby. Two full skeletons pulled themselves out of the dirt, one holding a lance and the other carrying a mace. They spread out to flank the Abomination as the Shadowknight tore Retribution out of the ground and grinned evilly under his mask, though the monster couldn't see it. If this thing lasted long enough against the four opponents now facing it, he knew what he was going to do.

Description:
This is the basic ability that nearly all Shadowknights will use in combat. It is also needed for several of the later techniques, and is thus an integral part of the Shadowknight’s arsenal and should be learned as early as possible. For each rank of energy put into the technique, the Shadowknight summons and controls a skeletal warrior. (D=1,C=2,B=3,A=4,S=5,SS=6,SSS=7)
Notes: Necessary for multiple skills. Each skeleton is equal to a basic warrior (Speed 5 Strength 5), but are easy kills for Holy Light. Clerical and Paladin Techniques obliterate the skeletons with ease. (E rank deals C rank damage, D rank deals B rank damage, C deals A, etc.) }}

The two skeletons suddenly jumped onto the awnings of shops that hadn't been destroyed and hunkered down, bracing themselves for what was coming. Azrael's blood red eyes darkened in color as purple/black energy began swirling around his right hand, focusing onto the blade of Retribution. Two things happened at once - the lance carrying skeleton suddenly straightened up and hurled its weapon at the Abomination's head; the second was the Shadowknight slamming his blade into the ground. A shockwave of energy rushed outwards through the earth, causing a tremor that shook the ground beneath both himself and the monstrosity. Along with the tremor, a thin film of purplish energy coated the ground, making it slick and unstable, with the only unaffected spot being exactly under Azrael's feet. If the Bio-mechanical Abomination moved an inch, even to block, the motion would upset its precarious balance on the metal claw-like legs, and send it tumbling over. And with a lance heading straight for it, it would either have to move to dodge the attack, move to block it, or simply accept the blow. With the shield active the strike wouldn't hurt it, but there was enough force behind the throw to send the creature staggering backwards.
