They could have a real person play Ryuuku, I've seen some awesome cosplayers out there pull off rather cool Ryuk's and Rem's. If they did that though then they'd definitly use CG to fix it up and make it look (as real as a Shinigami can look), like facial expressions and joint movements.
Cheap way of making something good.

Wuu They could have a real person play Ryuuku, I've seen some awesome cosplayers out there pull off rather cool Ryuk's and Rem's. If they did that though then they'd definitly use CG to fix it up and make it look (as real as a Shinigami can look), like facial expressions and joint movements. Cheap way of making something good. Yeah the face is the only thing that would be a problem probably. 'Cause like you said I've seen some good cosplayers for Ryuuku and Remu too.

This whole thing is making me aaall squealy.
I wonder if there's going to be singing... ninja nah... xp But Raito and L look pretty awesome! heart

A friend of mine has just informed me that the guy playing Raito is the same guy who was the lead in the Battle Royal movie.
So, if anyone wants to see him "in action". ^_^.

I'm confused is this gonna be a movie or a musical? I shudder at the seriousness of DN being destroyed by broken engrish gonk
but anyways I just hope they don't mess it up, even if they do it'll still be in my heart
I heard the intial D live action movie was bad but ppl still like initial D eek

I guess it's now my DUTY to see that movie xp I reccomend it. However, it might be a bit hard to get hold it. It wasn't released in America. It was, on the other hand, released here in England razz So play.com (along with a lot of other places) should have it. Tatsuya Fujiwara's character in Battle Royale is nothing like Raito though ^^'

Personally, i adore the cast that they have picked so far.
I think its really funny how Yagami-san is Chairman Kaga from the Iron Chef...
There was a 'cosplayer' of Ryuuku that i saw the other day. He looked like a Jrocker, and i think that would be a great look for him.

NittleGrasper^-^ Inane Whimsies NittleGrasper^-^ I've seen her before! On Google of course... sweatdrop I also saw the rest of her piccys... she has her own little webpage thingy with DN cosplay... really good and accurate costumes. 3nodding She even has a Raito and L cosplaying with her.
Gah, if I could only find the link... @.@;
*ahem* Back on topic... I hope they don't make it into a musical... (like what they did to Bleach...) Well with the talk of a Death Note musical before... I'd find it ammusing. I mean... just think of the kinds of songs L might sing? Hehe. Or Ryuuku. Can't you see him busting out in song over apples?
Okay, well erase the part about the bananas... ninja omg. That would be really funny...

I'm not sure about how I feel about the blue part though.
