Well... It was kinda one of those "Have to see it to know what's going on" things, Dark. I haven't seen it so all the quotes and events they were relating to were in Greek for me. sweatdrop
Still some things did kinda make sense. 3nodding

Hannah Jade Eeep, yes all the Mayazaki films are awesome.. (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke etc.) And Monty Python is hilarious. I've only seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail and The Life of Brian so far though. Those are the best Python films anyway... Meaning of life can get old... and I can only watch the vomiting guy for so long before he makes me ill. But you should check out "And Now For Something Completely Different"... it's the movie version of their BEST sketches...

simpleplan09 *tommy boy *unclebuck *planes, trains and autombiles. Hehe... my gf loves all of those movies. As far as comedies go, the 1st to come to mind are: The Mask and Don't be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood.

OOOO, I just thought of a hippy movie! "Godsend" or something like that... I had to watch that movie for a church retreat coz we were singing songs from it and it was... ummm.... Well, imagine a hippie Jesus.... And some hippy followers of Jesus, all happening in the '70s... It's an experience... *shudder*

Mistress Urd OOOO, I just thought of a hippy movie! "Godsend" or something like that... I had to watch that movie for a church retreat coz we were singing songs from it and it was... ummm.... Well, imagine a hippie Jesus.... And some hippy followers of Jesus, all happening in the '70s... It's an experience... *shudder* It's "GODSPELL!" It's the movie version of a famous musical! Love it. The show's better than the movie though... same with Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, and... uh... a BUNCH of other crappy Broadway-to-Hollywood movies from the 60s-70s... Rocky Horror is an exception... Unless you update the stage show to be punky or super-glam, or goth and modern, or something... the movie's better. wink ~Mouse~

Friday the 13th, Halloween, Scream, and just about any slasher movie. I'm a blood and guts junkie. xd
There's also Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, The LoTR trilogy, Excaliber, Donny Darco... ::rambles for some many minutes::

Hair is awesome, and so is Amelie but I am not so sure what Amelie has to do with hippie movies and RHPS. Oh and Forest Gump has some hippie scene's in it and it rocks my socks of so much so that I can never wear socks again.

You wouldn't think so, but the some themes in Dogma are rather hippy-ish. I especially like Chris Rocks line, "People die for their belifs, but you can change an idea."

Durango You wouldn't think so, but the some themes in Dogma are rather hippy-ish. I especially like Chris Rocks line, "People die for their belifs, but you can change an idea." Dogma is a FANTASTIC movie. It is challenging to watch, and not STUPID like most comedies today... Kevin Smith is silly, but he makes you think about things too. Dogma is the best example of that.
