A bush rustled off to Raika's right and she heard the twa-thump of a leaping rabbit. Quietly, she padded after it, wanting to get as close as possible before she went after it. The brown rabbit came into view and she sprang. The frightened rabbit shot off, Raika on it's heels.

Ookami slowed down and put his nose to the ground following the scent. He became light on his feet and on high alert listening for the yummie treat. Soon enough a rabbit crossed his path and he took off after it.

Raika increased her pace, noticing the rabbit was getting a little tired. Using a tree as a base, she leaped off of the trunk and landed on the rabbit's back, snapping the spine and killing it quickly. Picking up her dinner, she went back to her starting point and followed her mate's scent so that they could eat together.

The little rabbit kicked its self into high gear when it figured out Ookami was chasing it. Apparently it didn't want to be eaten which was to bad for it because Ookami wasn't going to give it up. He dug his claws into the ground so it would give him that added push off as the rabbit ran. With a leap of fate Ookami opened his mouth, tackled the rabbit and snapped its neck.

Raika smiled to herself, tracking her mate was nearly as fun as tracking the rabbit had been. Finally she heard his pounding feet followed by a small snapping sound and figured Ookami had been successful in catching his own dinner. Making enough noise to tell her mate is was her and not a threat, Raika stepped into the area Ookami was and lay down to eat her dinner with her mate.

Ookami's ears twitched at the sound of his mate approaching so he let his guard down and laid down to eat his catch. He watched her approach and smiled, "Have fun my dear?" he asked eying her body just a little bit more than normal.

Raika sent her mate a mischeivious smirk. "Oh, yes. Did you?" She asked, moving to lie next to him. She gave an unnecessary little wiggle and nuzzled his shoulder. "Hunting you is much more challenging than the silly rabbits." She teased.

Ookami moved his leg so Raika could get closer grinning at her for being like this. She was being playful and a bit flirty. He liked it on her. "Really now dear? How much do you want to hunt me? Maybe I should hunt you hmm?" He asked giving her a slightly naughty teasing look. He than kissed her and nipped her lip.

Raika laughed and wriggled closer. "Hunting you was fun, doing it again would be...interesting. Although...I have to admit I like the idea of you hunting me. Not that I'd make it easy for you." She said, lifting her head in mock haughtiness. "You think you can catch me?"

Ookami grinned devilishly. "Oh i could catch you my love," He growled playfully and nipped her neck. He than pinned her to the ground holding her down with his body.

"Now, that's just cheating." Raika teased nipping at Ookami's jaw lightly. "You're supposed to give me a head start." she scolded teasingly. "After all, I need to hide first, don't I?" She asked wrapping her tail around Ookami's.

Ookami rubbed his head against Raika's neck. "Thats cheating huh?" he asked her rubbing his tail on hers. He nipped her chest " I dont want you to hide it would be a shame to hide such beauty."

Raika laughed and tried to wiggle free, nipping at Ookami's ear. "That's not what I meant, mate. And you can hardly hunt me if I don't hide first." She said, nuzzling against Ookami's shoulder. "Let me up, mate. Don't you want to chase me?"

" I know but its still true," he told her with a smile. He laid his head on her chest so that they were nose to nose. "Maybe later. I'm liking how we are right now to much." Ookami said with a cheeky grin

"Tch, you're silly." Raika replied. She twisted and rolled, pinning Ookami under her now. "This is much better." she said, licking him on the cheek.
