 The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - Hans, what a most silly name. She liked it. ”Hans.” Emery grinned at the funny man, he was very amusing. Though this time around she could understand him just a little more clearly. That didn't make it as fun, but at least she was capable of responding this time! “Gutan tug.” Emery repeated with a giggle, drawing a hand to her mouth in a motion to better express her shyness to this experience of strange speech. In what Emery would call cute, this man was. She was enjoying herself. “Oh I'm-” Emery had begun before her words trailed away with the wind as her attention was drawn to a sudden chill. Her hair was getting wet? Reaching up, she touched the top of her head where strands of red hair carefully balanced droplets of water that burst from her touch. She looked up. The sky was awfully cloudy, filled with swirls of clouds tainted a deep gray. Rain droplets fell on her cheeks, the cool liquid wasn't welcoming in the sudden uprising of cold wind. She looked at the man with a frown. ”What happened to the weather?” It got worse as the seconds were ticking by, Emery shivered.

~ Continued from Valentine's Day~ Dante? Wasn't that the second time he had heard of the man..? Kade should really look into seeing the man.. But, well, when he was feeling better. Last time he tried to make a friend like he was right then, he ended up bumming off of him after totally ruining his mood for.. like, a long while. Yep, Kade wasn't a very good person to hang around – he almost felt guilty for Walter right off the bat with this date. ..Heck, even his intentions were starting to bum him.. Just dragging the man over to Avien's only so he could show him off? That.. He frowned to himself – that wasn't.. Oh? His thoughts were ended quick enough as a hand threaded into his hair gently and his attention was drawn back to the other in curiosity. ..He was okay with that? Kade's eyes widened in surprise. It was hard to find a guy who was okay with that! Or that was Kade's conclusion after his last few guys being kinda iffy on the crossdressing thing. He was about to pipe up eagerly on being more than happy to show Walter when fingers crossed his cheek and his expression dropped once again. Oh, really! He was having more mood-swings than a teenage girl..
Still, the action reminded him of him and.. Before he knew it, a hand shot up to carefully take Walter's hand and move it away with a small smile, “That sounds-” Ah! When he was about to finish that statement, a raindrop hit the bridge of his nose all too suddenly. Followed by another to his shoulder, then three to his hair and – before either could react, a whole storm had suddenly brewed overhead! Then the wind picked up alarmingly about, sending most of everyone out of the garden in a rush. “Um, sorry! It looks like it's going to just get worse!” He raised his voice as the weather drowned out most other sound, internally cursing himself for not getting an umbrella before going out! His clothes were going to get soaked! “Do you want to continue later or go somewhere, sweetie?” He asked a beat after his last words – he didn't mind either way, so long as they got out of the rain. Avien's house wasn't far.. but there was also the winery nearby, the inn, library.. Oh, whatever worked for him!
~~~
“It's easy! Just give me one second, okay?” Zhi said to River in assurance before she turned on her heel and ran off to where none other than Hayden was still searching for his date. It was obvious at this point that Ani-whatever had stood him up! b***h! Ruining her festival like that..! Zhi would have to talk with her about it, but, for now, she had to fix the problem that presented itself with her lack of appearance. She grabbed Hayden by the shoulder and wheeled him around to face her, leaning in to speak with him with River a few feet behind her, hopefully waiting for the dark-haired girl to return. But, just as she opened her mouth to speak to the man, a raindrop had fallen in and a gust of wind had whipped her skirt around her legs jerkily, making the girl shiver. She glanced up at the sky and noted the rain with a furrowed brow. “Pìhuà!” She spat out before flipping her eyes back to Hayden for a brief moment before muttering, “Come here.” With that, she forced him over to River by his shirt, having more strength than a girl her age was expected to have! “Let's go! Somewhere! You, man, guide us!” She commanded frantically as she hooked her other arm with River to make sure the girl was safely with her during the storm.
"Ach it looks like it hast taken ein turn fur die vorst. Ah little Fraulien, ve schould get out of die veather javhol?" Hans said as he took off his coat and slipped it around the little ones shoulders. "I vill valk you home ja?" Hans said as he soon started to get soaked as well. Eh.. least it wasnt in the trenches in some foreign land.. or training.. training sucked in the rain. "You lead die vay fraulien." Hans said with a smile. He could tell she was too young for him. But that wasnt going to stop him from being unfriendly. No date, but hey it wasnt a complete disaster! ___
Walter chuckled lightly as the rain started to fall. "Nothing new to me ol chap." Walter said with a smile. He stood, still holding onto Kade's hand when the boy had grabbed onto his. He pulled the boy to his feet. "In Britian its either cloudy or raining my boy." Walter shook his head, his dark locks already soaked with the rain. "I say we head somewhere. Preferrably somewhere, not so crowded? What about your house ol boy?" Walter asked him gently.
 The Reality ◑ The Delusion - - - - - Emery stared at the man for a moment, though she was getting chilled down to the bone and was starting to feel most miserable, she couldn't help but grin at his speech some more. That giggle didn't last long in this weather, as it died with another sweep of cold wind that pushed droplets of water into her. At least she understood the home part. Looking away from him, she glanced around her. Her eyes widened. She had been brought here by her brother, and the entire way here she hadn't paid any attention to the directions they took, she was too busy watching the birds and flowers. Where was her brother? Did he forget her? Swallowing, Emery fiddled with the poppies that dripped most unpleasantly onto her feet and gown. Did they come from over there? Or maybe from over the other way? But, the man seemed dependent on her to lead the way so.. Emery smiled as her wet hair, dampened gown, and cold feet didn't phase her at the idea that came to her. She knew exactly which way to go!
”This way, Hans, follow me.” She said as she glanced back at him, giving a grin that bared slightly too many teeth into a very odd smile to express her glee. She wasn't alone at least!-Exit Emery to Beach-
 Kade gave Walter a skeptical look – not new to this? The rain was horrible! It always blocked out the sun, ruined his clothes, made make-up run, and his hair could frizz up before long! So many bad things could happen when he was out in it, and Walter was just fine? He frowned at that, somewhat jealous that the man could take this so well. But, he didn't comment beyond tensing as he was guided to his feet. Gentleman.. No, no, he couldn't be doubting already! Kade barely knew Walter! Really, he couldn't be this bad on a first meeting, right? So, with some convincing, he pushed away those thoughts and put his attention onto where to go. His place? Right now, it would probably be flooding with the broken windows.. “Umm – I'm staying with a friend right now, I don't think he'd like it if I were to bring someone home unannounced.” He said honestly. He had told Avien he wouldn't bring anyone home without saying anything if he didn't! It would be wrong to go against his word like that! Not that he would be the first. “What about your place? Or we could go to, um.. The winery is nearby, so is the government building.. And the library, too.” He suggested quickly, all too eager to get out of the rain.
"Huh? Oh, okay," River nodded as Zhi turned away and walked away, watching the girl hurry off. She was talking to some blonde guy. Ah, speaking of which, what happened to Alex? She looked around, but the tall, dark-haired man was nowhere to be seen. Her mouth fell open, and she flushed with excitement. The date! The date had left the festivals grounds.Sure, he could have just gone home, but the girl was missing too! River almost didn't know what to do. She had done it! She had succeeded! "Good job, Riverrr~" she murmured to herself, covering her face with her hands, she was so pleased with herself.
She lowered her hands when she felt a rain drop hit her head. Then another. And another. The wind whipped her hair into her face, and she struggled to hold it down. Really, she liked having long, wavy hair like hers, but it got in her face and messed up easily. She was still trying to pull down the long strands when Zhi took command of her arm. "Eh? Where are we going?" River asked as she looked over at Hayden, laughing cheerfully as the rain began to soak her clothes and wet her hair.
Walter released the boys hand watching the boys looks that he gave him. Hm.. seems the boy was questioning something. And seeing as how Walter didnt want to scare the boy off. He decided not to be so forward, and goign to his place was out of the question.
"Not if you want the Frenchman and Foul mouthed teen after you my dear boy. The winery it is then, if.. that is what you wish?" Walter said, adding a bit of a butler/servant tone to his speech. He offered his arm to the lad and would start leading the way once Kade took it.
He'd have to play his cards right if he wanted to make anything of this date other than a shag. Hell even then he could tell this boy was high maintence. Not that Walter minded that at all, honestly it was cute and nice to be needed. Even if he had just met the boy. But he could tell the boy, along with what he had heard from others, had alot of weight on his shoulders...
"We can taste a bit of wine, talk there.. and see what else happens. Id love to hear more about you, or you can just question me to death ol boy. Im pretty easy going you'll find." Walter said with a smile. And it was true... unless someone messed with him. Then Walter's cheerful gentlemanliness became a cold blooded killer. -To the Winery!-______________________ -Exit Hans with Emery to the beach-
 ____________________________________________________________ - Hayden Rusacanth - ____________________________________________________________ Alas, Hayden had been dragged over here under Zhi's force. He was just about to leave, after all getting stood up... in a blind date... does not exactly leave a man in high spirits. Oh this was cruel. However Zhi would not give up and leaving had them caught up in the middle of gusts and rain. The girl's strength surprised him. How did she manage to drag him was a mystery, but he wasn't going to be the one to question that. Now not anyways. "Uh... Well..." Hayden's mind began to work quickly gathering where they could go. What was near? That he knew how to get to... The library! It was next to them! He nodded and took River's arm, since Zhi was clinging tightly to the other, heading in the library's direction. "Come on, the library isn't far from here!"-Exit-
Crimson scratched his head awkwardly as she laughed at him, "It's nice to meet you too, love." He wasn't embarrassed in the least, he was quite used to the ridicules about his name. He liked it, too. It gave him more character to help him stand out. Once she was done laughing, he gave her a smile. "Would you like to get out of here, mate? I'm mighty hungry and I hear the Inn has a pretty good restaurant, love. If you'd like?" He smiled at her once more and awaited the response with his hands in his pockets.
Raiden shook his head, of course he didn't want the damn flowers. "You keep 'em." He gave a gentle nod at that, "What do you say we go for a walk?" He motioned towards the exit, this place wasn't really his style. The fact that Una was so young wasn't appealing to him or his extremely itchy groin. He awaited her response, if she didn't want to then whatever. She could find her own way home.
Mitsuke stood rather speechless, watching as her date ran off to go do, god knew what. She stood, holding the flowers in front of her, her hands tightly gripping them. Once the girl returned, she stared blankly into her face and handed her the flowers. "...sorry. Wrong number." She turned on her heel, wrapping her arms around herself as she did so. This was just awful. She began running once she was remotely out of sight and did so the entire way home. Running towards the only thing she knew that would wash the thoughts of how awful her first attempt at an actual date: alcohol.
Oh? He hadn't gotten angry? Natalia was impressed! This guy was cool! Her mother (and Rory) were always saying that she should sugarcoat her words, because she could be mean and ruthlessly blunt, and that sort of thing easily offended people. But this guy, the guy with the stupid name (and stupidly long hair?) didn't seem to mind one bit! "You know, I like you. You're cool," she said as her laughter subsided, giving him a confident thumbs-up. She didn't bother to look up as it began to rain. She was too big of a man to be bothered by a bit of water! But she was also a lady, and ladies were supposed to be self-conscious about their skirts flying up (as it was threatening to do) so food sounded like a good option! "Sure thing! But I'm new, so I have no idea where that is, so you can lead the way," she grinned at him.
The storm was oncoming and it soon broke out in rain (remember there was that whole hurricane warning?) Una and anyone else from the festival, Raiden included would be quickly soaked to the core. "Ach! Ah.. i vould say Ja. Aber im ztis veather? Vant to head to die General store, oder die Inn? Library!? Anyvhere? Ist.. im not fond auf die rain." Una sniffled and sneeze as she wrapped her arms around herself. She shivered the rain making her cold as hell.
  Crimson smiled as she said she liked him, that was nice. He felt the rain begin heavier, so he thought it would be best to get out of there quickly. "I'm sorta new, haven't been out all too much. So, this may not go well." He laughed and motioned towards the exit and began walking beside her once she began walking.
[Exit Crimson]
Raiden looked up at the sky and at the water that began falling on his cheeks. "Yeah, General Store sounds good." Of course that was only for Dante and to hopefully get rid of this girl, but he wouldn't let that be known. She seemed rather nice after all. He didn't understand what her problem with the rain was, it was rather nice. "Let's get out of here then." He placed his hands in his pockets, the only downfall to rain was not being able to smoke in it. Yeah. That was a problem. He began walking in the direction of the store from memory of his first night here. He honestly wasn't paying any attention to see if she was following him or not, it was her own problem if she wasn't.
Amanda Hope O'Conner ♥ ♥ ♥ For some reason, Amanda decided to go and explore the park that day with her camera. It's not like it was a perfect day, it was rather cold, but she had bundled against the weather and decided to brave the chill. Wandering around the area she snapped a picture, a picture there. If you got over how cold it was, it acctually was a nice day! Alright girly, buck up. It's not that bad out here. Thankful for her brightly colored scarf and thick jacket, Amanda smiled at a few birds that flew out of a tree as the wind picked up some. Although she was a photographer by profession, she was definatly a well dressed one. With the winter flowers in bloom she snapped a few photos and brainstormed ideas for a new photoshoot. She hadn't had one since on the island and although the shoot at the Vet's was in the idea stages, she needed to do something productive. Amanda sat on a bench and looked over some of the pictures she had taken so far that day on her wanderings.
 Rory wasn't sure why he had decided to come to the garden in winter, but he blamed Nat. Since it had gotten colder, she and the dogs had been spending even more time indoors, and they were bored. So he had decided to take a walk. Somehow, he had ended up here. It was a random place, seeing as he was pretty neutral when it came to flowers, but because it was winter, it was kind of... empty, actually. Unlike his roommate, he didn't mind having an area to himself, so he was actually kind of happy to be able to walk around in quiet. As he stepped, he noted the different types of flowers, his mental encyclopedia rushing through information. That's why, when he approached the first person he had seen that day, a girl with a camera, he couldn't help but open his mouth, and let the stream of information come dribbling out.
"You know, those flowers by your feet? Those are Galanthus, but they're more commonly known as 'snowdrops'," Rory began, gesturing to the little white flowers by the bench with a smile. "They grow from bulbs, and contain a substance known as galantamine, which is helpful in treating Alzheimer's. In Greek mythology, it was thought to be a powerful antidote. Scotland holds a Snowdrop Festival in late winter. I've never been, but it sounds impressive." And after reciting all of the interesting information from the encyclopedia article, he ended it on a personal note. However, he soon realized what he had done and looked startled. "Err... sorry. I got a little out of hand..." he apologized, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly.
Amanda Hope O'Conner ♥ ♥ ♥ Amanda had been so focused on her work that when she heard a voice she jumped. Putting a hand over her heart she laughed and looked upward. "You scared the hell out of me haha!" Letting out a happy sigh, she processed what the boy had said. "That's really cool how much you know about the flowers, I just know they look beautiful. And look fantastic in pictures haha. And a Snowdrop Festival? That sounds like it would be a lot of fun!" Putting her camera down on her lap Amanda turned and looked at the blonde boy. "Hello there, I don't think we've met before. I'm Amanda." she scooted over a bit, making room for him to sit if he wanted to.
