both dragon ball Z and full metal alchemist are doing it. and they are a quite bit better while keeping to what they were about originally

I think Pokemon is moving too forward at all times to remake its original season. Though it would be totally awesome. Though it would suck without the original voice cast.

yeah, its probably one of the reasons they decide against it. maybe they should just have a series where he tours the kanto region again, only it'd have the things wrong with it like kanto had in gold/silver. like cinnibar isle sploding, some of the gym leaders are different etc.

And they'll continue it because of it's popularity of course.
