Alphonse watched in utter disbelief as Beatrice slowly backed away from him. Sure, he had noticed the pale man. But, what would she have to fear him for? He wasn't the one that would cause the entire world's impending doom. One child at a time, no, that was his job. He quickly scanned the area, although it wasn't easy from his position on his back. There didn't appear to be anyone around in the close proximity. That was good. He could set some s**t on fire with his mind just to let out the anger of being left alone. Or, better still, he could possess some s**t. That s**t was fun. That was how he, the great deceiver himself, wound up in a ******** rabbit anyway. It was all a part of the larger scheme. The same general plot that he embedded into old Adolf's mind years ago, train the children. They were much more impressionable and a few simple commands later and the world would bow at his feet like they were meant to! THE WORLD WOULD BE HIS!!!

After a good hour or two, when the sun had finally set, Teddy slowly rose itself from the ground, floating about a centimetre above ground and decided to make it's way home. He couldn't count on Freja to come back to get him, after all. Woman was useless as could! Just his luck to have been stuck with her. ********. While floating away, his right plush-full foot slapped a rock, sending it flying away. "Oh hey! The rock! Be careful where you stand! Can't you move out of the way when possessed teddy bears flies you way?" Such a rude rock, really! Oh, Teddy hated those rocks that thought the world belonged to them! Always standing there, staring at you with the stupid smile and then jumping in your shoes when you weren't looking! They deserved to die! All of them!

When the teddy smacked into Zap, the rock was sent rolling. At first, he was ecstatic for he was finally getting off of his back and upright again! If he was going to wait for that wuss to come get him, then he may as well be comfortable. But, instead of staying upright, he went back onto his back again, and then upright, then back, upright, back, upright, back.. All up until he was stopped by a big, fat ball of fluff – a rabbit. “Hey! Watch where you're sitting, stupid bunny!” He.. well, it was hard to say what he had done. He didn't have a brain, so he couldn't have thought that, nor did he have a mouth to snap it out, but neither did the floating teddy – hold up. Floating? “Hey.. Hey, Teddy! Hitch me a ride out of here, alright? You can't leave me here with the stupid bunny!” He directed that to the teddy in a demand, though he didn't want to get any help from a stupid bear either. Ugly, pink, bear.. Oh, well, he would have to deal with it. He didn't want some ants to start crawling underneath him – that tickled and itched!

~New Day~ Needless to say, while Theresa was mildly confused and somewhat amused by her 'gift' of turnips, Junior was ecstatic~ Not just because he was at a park – but, because he was at a park with a friend! An animal friend! Hadn't he been called a beast tamer one year? By that one little boy who left and never came back, probably because Junior had said something to make him mad and scare him away? ..Oh.. That thought kinda made him sad.. No, no, he couldn't be sad! Not with his Florence walking nervously behind him! He felt more.. powerful knowing that something could be more awkward than him – in a good way. Ever since the.. thing that he would never ever ever think about because it was scary enough to make him cry right there (kidnapping), Junior had hardly left the house, let alone talk to anyone at school or something.. Which wasn't that big of a change from before. It was more so that his fears were there for different reasons – but they weren't when he was with Florence. He had only been walking with the muntjac, as the lady had called it, for little under an hour, but he still felt completely secure with the animal.
He actually decided to lead him a little farther from Theresa so they could be alone, having a turnip in hand while he attempted to feed Florence – a sight that had Theresa smiling from her bench. It really was nice to see him enjoying himself. The scare had her watching him like a hawk, with Kade doing the same, albeit on the verge of tears half the time. She would admit that it scared her to death that something like that could happen in such a small place, but she was happier to know he was alive. Oh, well, she could give Kade a bit more time, right? She had given him almost a year, a little more wouldn't hurt anyone! Especially with this new stick to stir the chaos – she softly sighed to herself and took a quick glance to the burlap sack that the farmer had handed off to her. Turnips.. Weird something for winter, wasn't it? She raised an eyebrow and eyed one of the purple and white vegetables, her attention halfway between inspecting it idly and keeping an eye on the redhead a little ways infront of the bench.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Kaleb Roman - __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ White Day seemed to hit the jackpot with Kaleb. Well not exactly, he was just glad he wasn't won by some crazy dude. Or some needy old woman... Tess was perfect. It was someone he knew, and let's be honest, the woman was both hot and cool. So he came in some pretty casual clothes that kept him warm in the winter air. It took him a bit to find the playground though. Well it's not exactly a place he'd keep an eye on. It surprised him a bit when he was told to meet the woman here, but once there he figured why that was. The kid... and an animal? "Tess. Hey there lovely lady. How are you?" said the male stopping next to her with a smile. He hadn't seen her in a while.

Theresa shifted her eyes from the little boy a ways off who seemed to have just gotten the deer thing interested in the turnip, when Kaleb came up. Well, hello~! Was she looking him over? Hell, yes, she was~! It wasn't like that was cheating on Matthew or anything, was it? ..Ah, why was she even thinking of that? It wasn't like she wasn't planning on leaving the guy! Matthew and her were more like a short fling than anything, anyway. Just something he jumped into after leaving Carly, as she had come to assume after awhile. They'd been together long enough for him to get his confidence back and she was sure he was thinking of breaking up as much as she was. So, this date? It wouldn't matter to him anytime soon. She picked up the burlap sack of turnips that took the other half of the bench, moving it to the ground with a nod to the newly open spot. “Hey there, stud.” She teased as she scooted some to give him more space, throwing a quick glance at Junior to make sure he was still, well, there. “Want a turnip?” She held up one of the all too common vegetable for him to study, raising her brows in a prompt. Could a turnip be eaten raw? As if she knew!

P.H.I.L.E.O. L.E.`D.E.-V.U.E.R. The tantalizing squeal of children, the music of laughter pitched on the winds like a drifting dandelion seed so graceful in the breeze. Oh what a magical place it was, the park. Where the youth, so innocent, run without a care in the world. But, the true beauty was not in their unblemished lives untainted from the rest of mans darkness, but who brought them to such a peaceful place. Their moms - their hopefully single, or it really didn't matter to Phileo, moms. They weren't so pure, neither was he, so it was fair game no matter a ring or jealous boyfriend. Phileo winked at his reflection in a dirty puddle of water that couldn't be any prettier without him looking into it. He had his best wingman right there in the puddle looking at him. Moving a few strands to fall perfectly in place, he used a bit of saliva so it'd hold, slicking it back as he gave a toothy grin. Oh yes, today he was getting laid. Straightening himself, he walked with steps lightened by a heart full of song, looking as carefree as the children that would play about. Where, oh where, was a pretty girl for his pretty hands to feel?

What a lovely day it was. The perfect day for a walk through the town. The snow had finally melted from the ground, and it seemed that flowers were beginning to bloom everywhere. It was a very pleasant time of the year, and Nanami was glad that she had a reason to get out and see it.
But why was she at the playground?
Her daughter was too old for playgrounds, and had been for a long time. But to Nanami, it still felt recent. So when she walked downstairs and overheard Haruka with Raiden, she not only wanted to leave them alone so they could spend some time together as young adults and friends, but she was also struck by nostalgia. Her daughter was spending time with a boy! It seemed like just yesterday they were heading to play at the playground after work. So she had decided to come by the playground during her walk, just to see it.
It had changed quite a bit in ten years, and Nanami was so struck by the change that she couldn't help but sit down on one of the benches that sat along the sidewalk. Wow, she felt old. ...Maybe she'd stop by the Grindhouse in the evening for a drink.

P.H.I.L.E.O. L.E.`D.E.-V.U.E.R. Like the scent of a wounded, helpless, deer on the winds carried to the jaws of a famished wolf, Phileo caught sight and was watching with sharp eyes, a woman. The red head walked in a way that gave idea to walking in memory, not paying attention to her surroundings as much as she did her own thoughts. His injured doe, too busy thinking of her own problems to notice she was being stalked. He grinned, baring his teeth in a manner of excitement. Alone, appeared curvy from here, and he could only imagine a lovelier face on her. Yes, today he was definitely getting laid.
Clearing his throat, he prepared his vocals, the claws that would dig in and hold tight to his kill. What was a man without such a smooth, perfect, voice? Not Phileo, that's who. It was time to approach. He walked with steps not rushed, no, you never rush in on your kill, it startles them. His steps mimicked the ones she had taken herself, that was as though he too walked down memory lane. Why, he was of course, memories of all the beautiful woman before – she was quite lovely. Phileo could see just a part of her face as he approached from the side. She looked almost sad, didn't she? A mother with a lost child? No – she's not weeping. She was at a park, alone, watching it with such a look that might be.. A mother with an empty nest maybe? He smiled. If you knew your victim, how easy it was to trick them. As he came close to her, he changed his own expression to something of similar emotion. What did he lose? A wife? No, too strong. A child – no, she'll ask too many questions. A pet? Ah yes, he lost his pet. What was her name? Fluffy? No – Bell! A small white cat, Bell is his beloved cat that was the only memory he had of his passing mother. Of course, how could he forget?
“Bell!” He called urgently as he parted a bushes leafs to peek inside, calling out in such distress that a woman would have to notice and ask what he was doing!

It just took a few brief moments for Nanami to fall into hardcore nostalgia mode. The park had changed, but it wasn't too different. Look, there was the tree in which Haruka's kite had gotten caught in when she was eight. And the corner of the sandbox that Haruka had always preferred to dig in when she was three (though she had never liked the sand for very long, and would cry and cry when it got into her shoes). And that corner of the sidewalk, where Haruka fell off her bicycle when she was seven and vowed to never ride again, why, it looked practically the same! The crack in the pavement had not budged an inch. Imagine the number of children who were equally traumatized by that crack?
Thankfully for everyone with any decency, Nanami's reminiscing didn't last for long, as a man's cries caught her attention and knocked her out of her thoughts. She rotated in her seat and looked first at the moving bush, and then at the man who was poking through. "...Looking for something?" she called to him with a smile. What an odd sight, seeing a grown man like that.

P.H.I.L.E.O. L.E.`D.E.-V.U.E.R. Parting the bush again and again, researching as though his beloved Luna – er Bell, would appear to him in a sudden puff of adorable gold.. Black, white? Yes, white. So distressed was he, that he hadn't noticed the woman for a long moment. Looking ever so disappointed, he pulled himself free of the nipping twigs to look in her direction. In a not so surprised yet entirely surprised way, he gasped. Placing a hand to his heart, he blinked a few times as though to clear something from his sights that might have misconstrued what he saw.
“I – I uh..” He stumbled out as he took a moment to take in her beauty like a cool drink of water. Or at least, that's all he displayed to her. Clearing his throat, he swept the hair from his forehead and glanced away from her in an embarrassing manner, all to ban away his made up blush. ”Forgive me, I thought an angel had come down to help me in my time of need.” He said as he rose to his full height from the bush, looking back to her with a heavy, admiring gaze. Oh yes, she'd do, she'd do just fine. ”You see, my darling cat, Be-lisa – got out and I've been searching for her all day.” He covered his eyes with his hand, drawing the dramatics with a pitiful shake of his head. ”She was all I had left in memory of my poor deceased grandmother.”

Nanami shifted uncomfortably in her seat. Why was he looking at her like that? He had this weird, dreamy look on his face. She furrowed her eyebrows thoughtfully. Was he okay? Should she call someone? He didn't seem like a threatening person exactly, but she should do something just in case? She glanced around the park a little nervously, but then he spoke. Oh, a cat? He was searching for a cat? She mentally scolded herself for jumping to conclusions. Of course he was looking for his cat. She felt silly.
"Oh no," she frowned sympathetically. Yup, mother mode was kicking in. She couldn't resist someone with a missing pet. She just wanted to help. "I'm sorry to hear that... I don't remember seeing a cat around here... Are you sure she came this way?" she asked, looking up at the man questioningly. She had just gotten there, but she still felt bad she was unable to give him more information than that.

P.H.I.L.E.O. L.E.`D.E.-V.U.E.R. Phileo continued with his charade of a man in distress over a precious lost animal, running his fingers through his hair as he looked about for the not so existent cat. His dear B.. Balina? Wouldn't be here – she wouldn't be anywhere. But, this woman didn't know that. Oh how any more witty could he get? He looked at her and smiled sadly. Taking in a deep breath as he let it out with a soft sigh.
“I was sure I saw her run towards the park. Afterall, that's where my dear Balina was found in a box, the only kitten not taken out of her litter! My grandmother had a kind heart,” He looked in a random direction towards a tree, where he pretended to reminence about his 'dead' grandmother who was living in some condo somewhere probably eating mushed steak. ”Just like my poor Bilina, she took me off the streets when my parents died in a tragic... Cooking accident.” Drooping his head, he sagged his shoulders in defeat at the oh so sad memories and covered his eyes once more with his hands. ”I just have to find her, my precious Balina.”

Nanami was silent as she listened to the man's explanation. She usually had pretty good instincts, and was good at finding holes in one's logic. In most cases, she would have noticed a change in the cat's name, or the cliche story, and most definitely the absurdity of people dying in a 'cooking accident'. But of course, there was her condition to consider. Sympathy had triggered her mother mode, and yet again, she found herself deaf to illogical claims, and was instead consumed with a desire to help out this poor man. (It was the same exact thing that had happened during her "date" with Kevin two years prior. She even though she had seen the man at a festival long past the amount of time he said he had left, but she just brushed it off as her eyes playing tricks on her, since this Kevin looked much too healthy for someone who was supposed to be dead.) And so, she wasn't thinking clearly. At least, not as clearly as she usually thought.
"Well, I just got here, so there's a chance she's still here," Nanami offered with a gentle smile. It was so sad, seeing a man around her age look so sad! That cat really must have meant a lot to him. "Do you mind if I help you look?" She phrased her question delicately, though she wondered if anyone would really refuse an offer to help search for a lost pet. Her smile grew somewhat as she rose to her feet, looking at the man expectantly.

P.H.I.L.E.O. L.E.`D.E.-V.U.E.R. My what a kind hearted, lovely, naive woman she was! Or, Phileo just gave too little credit to his acting skills. Maybe he should have become an actor? Spreading his talent and skills to the world wide in fantastic movies of him saving countless beautiful woman and getting laid every time he went out! Ah, yes, that would be the life. But, he was stuck in this dinky little town – with beautiful woman. That was a positive. Snapping back to reality where a beautiful red head was kneeling to his needs, he uncovered his face and gave her a look of gratitude. “You would do that, for a stranger who you owe no kindness?” She was nice, wasn't she? Smiling, a little more genuinely, he shook his head and glanced away from her, an act of shame for his situation. ”However could I ask that of such a woman? But, I don't know how long little Bilinda will last on her own! Maybe,” He looked back at her, gazing into her uniquely colored auburn eyes. They were quite lovely, he would enjoy looking into them when he got to take her to bed! ”With such a lovely voice as yours, she'll come to you better then she would I?” With a sweep of his arm, he motioned towards the further bushes of the park, or directly towards the bushes that sprouted small white flowers. It was more romantic, wasn't it? Of course it was! He, after all, knew woman. "Quickly, let us seek out my darling Ballina."
