my favorite book by her isn't one of the vampire ones; its a long book called Cry To Heaven, and i'd recomend it to anyone who hates anne rice's vamp stories.

I'm honestly not sure who my favorite vampire is. It seems to change with each book that I read.

I love her work, her style of writing is awesome. I love how beautifully she describes things, and she uses words that have made me run to the dictionary a few times. That's nice.

I've only read some of Stan's work, the poems that were posted in her books. I haven't attempted to find any of his stuff. It's alright, but I'm afraid it's not enough to make me run to the library.

I voted over rated. I do enjoy her books, they just aren't as incredible as people make them out to be. I do have to admit though that I find her writings of Marius and Armand's past fascinating, as they were primarily written in the age of some of my favourite painters.
My favourite vampire would have to be Quinn from Blackwood Farm. I found him to be undeniably loveable, especially in his innocence.

I'm almost finished with "Blackwood Manor" and it is alright, though I'd have to say Interview and the Queen of the Damned are the best out of the series.
The movies completely ruin the books, though.
And I think she's over-rated in the fact that people make such a large deal of her work in both areas of disliking it and enjoying it.
She's not the greatest author, and not the worst.
Her books are an enjoyable read, though I will always treasure Interview despite what others say.

As far as Stan Rice, I'm not really into his style in poetry, but he is good, nonetheless.

And my favorite characters cross between Claudia, Louis, Armand, and Khayman. :]
